Crashing - copy and paste iTunes URL into hyperlink panel

Is anyone else having InDesign crash when they copy and paste an iTunes URL into their hyperlink panel? I am!
Very annoying since I'm making an app that has over 50 of them!

I never use the hyperlinks panel. Instead I find that creating no fill/no stroke buttons gives me a better (more stable) results.

If this has arrived in an email from Adobe, it's probably legitimate.
Usually though, you can click the link and it will confirm your registration automatically.
Otherwise copy it and then paste it into the location bar.

Hi. i would like to copy and paste the info in the composer field, year & grouping into the comments field within itunes. (so it would look like "COMPOSER - YEAR - GROUPING")

Hi,
1. Open "Applescript Utility" (in your Application->AppleScript folder), check "Enable GUI Scripting", you will need your login password. Now quit "Applescript Utility".
2. Open "Script Editor". Copy and Paste the following into the script editor,
tell application "iTunes"
set N_ames to the name of selection
set x to the number of items in N_ames
repeat with i from 1 to x
set C_omment to the comment of track (item i of N_ames) of library playlist 1
set L_yrics to the lyrics of track (item i of N_ames) of library playlist 1
set lyrics of track (item i of N_ames) of library playlist 1 to {C_omment & return & L_yrics}
end repeat
end tell
3. Save the file in your Home/Library/iTunes/Scripts folder and give it any name you like. You may need to create the folder "Scripts" in Home/Library/iTunes folder.
4. Open iTunes, you will see a symbol in iTunes menu item, this is the symbol for script. Under the symbol you will find your script.
5. Select any number of songs anywhere in iTunes, click on the script symbol and choose the script you saved before.
The script will copy the comment of a song and add it on top of the lyrics of that song (if you don't have any lyrics, it will only add the comment).

Cannot copy and paste from Word into Mail

I cannot copy and paste from Word into Mail. Neither from using the keyboard shortcuts, or using the Menu function. I can copy and paste from other applications into Mail- but for some reason, text copied from a Word document (both in .txt and .doc formats) will not paste into an open email. Anyone else have this issue? It's a new issue. I used to be able to do this easily.

I had similar issues starting about the same time or within the past week. However, I can copy and paste, it just takes considerably longer than it used to before. Copying something from a web page into Word could take up to 30 seconds now on my computer but it shows a busy mouse pointer while it is loading, then clicks/pops when it loads into the Word document, but then actually takes about another 5 to 10 seconds to appear in the Word document. I have no idea why it is delaying now when it did not do it before, but since it is still going into the document I am living with it for now. Are you waiting long enough to see if it appears?

Within the Sendible, I cannot copy and paste links (when not hyperlinked). The help info indicated it was connected to a Mozilla profile issue. But I cannot make these changes on my own. Please help! PKennedy

Sounds like you are not in Mountain Lion and have updated to Pages 5 on Mavericks.
Images in cells ahs been removed by Apple along with over 90 other features in Pages 5.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5 and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

HOW CAN I COPY AND PAST A LINK INTO/ONTO A FORM???

I use acrobat X and have created froms to fill out and email to clients so they can review differnt real estate properties and i want to past a link at the bottom of the form. When i receive an email alert about a new property there is a hyperlink in the emailand this is the one i would like to copy and past onto tthe PDF form described above. i do not want to nake a permanent link on the form as the info will change with every email i receive. if i copy the hyperlink into a text boc it only comes up as text. i can't believe it is so hard to do this. If i copy the link into word or excel and then save the file as a pdf the link will work but then i can't use the form. OMG please help!!

Acrobat is not an authoring program like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. So extensive editing is not possible.
How do you want the link to look?
There is a link tool that can insert a link around a location.
You can create a button form field and customize the displayed text and create an an action to execute a link.
You can create a text field and enter text into the field and create a mouse up action to execute a link actions.
Links in PDF can do much more than open a web page.
As noted you can create a form and replace the content layer and retain all the form fields and actions.
If you convert a Word document to a PDF make sure you set the PDF Maker conversion settings include the conversion of web links to interactive links.

Just above the text area that you use to enter the message text on the "Compose New Mail page" there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic.<br />
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).<br />
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink.<br />
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).<br />

Why can't I copy and paste from word into websites?

Hi,
I have been accepted as a writer for 3 online publishers, but cannot copy and paste examples of my work from Word into their websites. The clipboard behaviour seems erratic - sometimes I can copy text from websites and paste into Word, sometimes not.
Can somebody help? It is vital that I am able to supply examples of my written work without having to physically re-type everything or send the examples as attachments.

Using grab or anything else to copy and paste screen shots into MAIL

Using Grab to copy a screen shot into Mail-
All i get is a smaller picture of the screen shot and it can not be read in mail as it looses all definition and is too small .
is there a way one can copy and paste into mail using grab or any other utility?

You can do this using the standard screen capture keyboard shortcuts. cmd-shift-4, for example, let's you select a region of the screen to capture. By default, the results will be saved to your desktop as a png image file.
However, if you also hold down the ctrl key (so, ctrl-cmd-shift-4), the resulting screen capture will be saved to your clipboard. Once in the clipboard, you can simply cmd-v paste it into your mail message...

Did you ever get an answer to this issue? Everyday I hear from users of the forms i create, that they would like to be able to copy cells from an excel workgroup and paste them into the table of a form. I have even had people refuse to use my forms just because they cannot do this.

The short answer is No there isn't... but...
If you wrap the pasted info between code tags you can get close... For example...

But odds are you'll still need to clean it up in note pad first...
