Crashing on iPad 3 multitasking for iOS 7

Ever since I upgraded to ios 7 on my iPad 3rd gen, when ever I try to use multitasking, my iPad reboots. Anyone else?

i can confirm this issue on my new iPad mini retina running iOS 7.0.6.
I get frequent (not always) crashes trying to trigger the multitasking by double pressing the Home button or by sliding up with 4 fingers.

yes i I would of been satisfied that I drop it, and broke my iPad then the update crashing my Ipad 2. Because at least I know I did it, the apps I purchase iI'm not that upset about, but there's one app since I had to reset it to factory as new and update, I didn't want to reset it to factory setting, but I had no choice. I lost a lot of memerie. lesson learn next time I will update all my stuff on my PC to prevent this happening to me again. Never had a problem with pass update it was this update, that teach me a lesson, u can not always be computer free when it come to update any apple device.

IPad mini multitasking gestures ios diagnostic appears

I recently sent an ios diagnostic report to Apple, then I updated from ios 7.1 to 7.1.1, after that when using multitasking gestures, ios diagnostic window keeps appearing.

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.

Original iPad User Guide for iOS 4.3?

I've updated my iPad (and iPhone 3GS) to iOS 4.3. I then went to http://support.apple.com/manuals to download the latest User Guides for iOS 4.3. I found one for the iTouch, 1 for the iPhone, and 1 for the iPad 2. However, an iOS 4.3 User Guide for the Original iPad is not to be found. Has anyone else found it? If so, please post a link. Thanks.

Maybe I did misunderstand you but perhaps there will be no additional manual for the original iPad running 4.3. You just take the 4.3 updated manual and apply the instructions to the original iPad. There will be some things that don't apply to the original because the iPad2 is a new design, but Apple didn't radically change the way things work from 1 - 2. You just ignore the things that don't apply to iPad 1.
At this point I'm pretty sure you should know which instructions are specific for iPad2 if you use the 4.3 guide. The same software features apply to both models. You boot them the same way, you troubleshoot the same way and so on. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.
I buy devices all the time that come with generic instructions, written in four different languages, that apply to three or four different models. When I read those instructions I have to pay attention to the instructions that apply to my particular model - and ignore the rest. Those instruction manuals can be a nightmare to sift through. Apple makes their's pretty easy to read and navigate through.
BTW ... even though you refuse to believe it, the 3.2 and 4.2 guides ARE for your original iPad. There was no iPad 2 when this were published. This is your quote.

Is ipad 2 suitable for ios 8.3?

i want to know if I can update my software from 8.1.3 to 8.3 without being worried about slow operation,device get stuck.

Mine became sluggish. Apps take longer to open. Wifi seems slow. I feel Apple is playing the programmed obsolescence card on me again.

Can I create albums in iPhoto for iOS

My albums in iPhoto on my MacBook are imported to my iPad. But I can't add photos to the albums, I guess because they were created in iPhoto, not iPhoto for iOS. So I thought I would create the albums on my ipad in iPhoto for iOS, and import the old photos to is, and add new ones. But it doesn't appear that you can create albums in iPhoto iOS. Can this be true?

You create (tagged) albums in iPhoto iOS by tagging. If you want a new album, you create a custom tag with the name of the album you want, and all photos with that tag will appear in your custom album.
Or create regular albums in the Photos.app. All albums created in the Photos.app are visible in iPhoto for iOS:

iPhoto for iOS is simply incompatible with the newest version of the operating system iOS 8. It has been replaced by the new version of "Photos.app". If you have previously used iPhoto you can migrate your library to Photos. This is all Apple told us so far:

Ipad mini with retina-- apps crashing on ios 8. Even apps updated for ios 8 are also crashing

AFter updating my ipad mini retina to ios 8, apps already updated for ios 8 are crashing like...scanner pro by readdle,
safari not working as well as on ios7.1.2.

A bad thing is that these problems are not predictable. I have an iPad Mini - no retina that I got for free for opening a new bank account. I am a developer so I have run it on iOS 8 for some time. Even the released version has annoying bugs that weren't there on iOS 7. While the performance isn't great, it is useable. But a retina would have higher requirements and perhaps iOS 8 makes your machine too slow.
Do try all of the resetting and troubleshooting techniques. They may help.

IMovie for iOS crashed on startup on iPad.

I created a 10-minute video on iMovie for iOS (iPad) -- however when I access iMovie, the application crashes on start up. How do I stop the app from crashing? I previously deleted and reinstalled the app (and lost the then 11-minute movie I had made). I would prefer not to redo the video again. On both occasions, the app crashed after adding a song to the movie.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. I reset the iPad last night -- however iMovie continued to crash upon startup. I didn't realize that I could backup my project via iTunes. I will try to do this in the future. I had previously saved about seven minutes of work as a completed video and will use this as a starting point for my third attempt at this.
It was a different song that caused the app to crash each time. I wonder if iMovie for iOS is equipped to edit projects that are over 10 minutes in length, as I have not had this issue with projects of shorter duration.

When I connect to the iTunes store from my ipad 1 and go to either films or tv the app crashes. If i try to search for a tv programme the app crashes. I am using latest iOS

When I use the iTunes app to connect to the store, the app crashes when I try to search for a tv programme or film. I can buy stuff that is advertised but searching causes a crash. The same has happened with today's 12 days of Christmas. When i try to download House, the app crashes. Same with day 1, Coldplay, app crashed, missed the offer.

Thanks for your help. A simple power off/on worked and cured the problem. I'm so used to the iPad being on all the time I forgot the basics.
