Crashing Remote Desktop while using Excel

Question

This will crash remote desktop application.
On remote machine with Excel try this:
- open existing excel workbook or create new one
- right click - add comment
- right click on outside of comment box (grayed field) - colors and lines - fill - color - click on drop down combo box 
that's it.
Host machine macbook pro 13 retina late 2013, os x mavericks 10.9.2
remote machines affected Windows
