Creacin de menus en dreamweaver

como puedo crear diferentes formas de menus en
dreamweaver????

Mejor utiliza DHTML. Son muy buenos. Es un software donde
creas los menus y
luego insertas el codigo.

    The only problems that I am aware of with the updater are
    these:
    * Some third party extensions currently don't work with
    Dreamweaver 8.0.2.
    * The Test SQL Statement panel doesn't render correct results
    for MySQL
    functions.
    * The recordset dialog box strips out the MySQL CONCAT()
    function from
    SQL queries.
    Item 1 isn't a major concern to me, as I rarely use the
    extensions
    affected (mainly MX Kollection 3 and extensions created by
    Tom Muck).
    Items 2 and 3 do concern me, but since I'm aware of them, I
    can easily
    work around them.
    I have installed the 8.0.2 updater, and don't have any plans
    to
    uninstall at the moment. The changes to the server behaviors
    improve
    security, so that's an important reason to update. On the
    other hand, if
    you rely heavily on extensions created by InterAKT or Tom
    Muck, you may
    be better off waiting until they have updated their products,
    too.

  • How to add sub menus in dreamweaver CC using Jquery Tabs

    How can I add sub menus to a Menu Bar in DreamWeaver CC. I know how to do it in CS6 using Spry Menu bar but it's just not as simple as that was now in CC.
    Any Help is appreciated!!

    jQuery tabs is a replacement for Spry tabs, not the Spry menubar.

  • How do I hide sub menus in Dreamweaver CS5.5?

    Hi - I'm at the very beginning of sorting out my first web site in Dreamweaver CS5.5. I'm using a vertical menu with sub menus. The submenus are permanently visible. I was earlier able to make them only appear when you roll over them with a mouse...but the sub menus then stuck way out into the next column.
    What I'd like is to have submenus that are hidden until you roll over them with a mouse. I'd like the submenus to be indented slightly from the main menu (like they are now, except that they're not hidden right now).
    I seem to have changed a preference in Dreamweaver, because now when I delete the vertical menu and start all over again, I end up with the same formatting in my new menu. I can no longer end up with a hidden submenu items at all when I insert a vertical menu. I can create a horizontal menu with hidden submenu items, however, so I don't think I've changed the preference related to horizontal menus.
    Thanks so much for your help with this!

    Hi,
    in addition to gramp's hint, you could have a look here. You could e.g. use directly (Google) or download and integrate into your DW files.:

    On the other hand you can find some more by using Google itself, individually specific to your requirements and your preferences.

  • Fireworks Nav menus to Dreamweaver (CS3) not working

    Hi!
    Having used Dreamweaver and Fireworks V8 for a while (2
    years) i upgraded to CS3 versions, and then went to update a menu
    from
    http://www.hernebayhigh.kent.sch.uk/welcome2.html
    (edit popup menu) within Fireworks which went fine and exported the
    HTML and then went in to DW to import the HTML (like i have done a
    thousand times before), the menu looks great when to check and it
    in either Firefox, Safari (OSX) and IE6 and 7(WIn) the pop up menus
    do not work at all!?!
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks all!!!
    Steve

    I have experienced the similar problem when building entire
    pages from fireworks CS3 (with dd menu) and exporting into
    dreamweaver.
    Someone recommended using spry widgets in dreamweaver
    instead- might be worth looking into?

  • Working with pop up menus in Dreamweaver CS4

    this is my first time working with pop up menus in CS4 (have built many in previous versions), Adobe says you cannot create the pop up menus due to the new Spry feature - but that you can alter existing menus using the Behaviours panel
    I have just launched a new website using pop up menus - and there is a glitch when viewing the rollover/pop up menus: I see a question mark to the left of each image in the menu (the images themselves are working beautifully), does anyone know why?
    view the website here:
    http://www.kiwihouse.org.nz
    I want to keep the pop up menu so am looking for a solution to eliminate the floating question mark
    does it have anything to do with the multiple javascripts on each page?.. I have one for the menus, and one for the multiple fadeshow
    any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
    dQ

    Not sure if this is the problem, don't have time to go through all your code - but putting the page through the validator bought up a lot of errors...
    http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kiwihouse.org.nz%2F
    Look at the 3rd error message - it's to do with the way the script link has been written.
    Lots of other errors that need fixing as well.
    On another note, these pop up menus are not the best way to create menus these days, that's why the pop up menu feature was removed from the latest DW version.

  • Spry dropdown menus in Dreamweaver (CS 5.5) - how to make them smooth?

    Hello.  I received CS5.5 Master Collection this week and installed it.
    I am trying to add a Spry dropdown menu bar.
    That's easy enough, but I'm surprised that the menus just *pop* -- there's no smooth scrolling.
    Is there an easy way, using JavaScript or other means, to make these menus incorporate a smooth scroll-down effect?
    Thx!

  • How can I modify the old pop up menus (originally created with DW 8) in dreamweaver cs5?

    I just purchased dreamweaver cs5. I am currently maintaining old sites that were creating with drop down menus using dreamweaver 8. I realize that this is a deprecated feature and I cannot create pop up the old way; however can I still edit these with dreamweaver cs5?

    First, read this about the old MM menus:

    I was wondering if you can still edit popup menus in dreamweaver CS5?
    If not what is a good addon to create dropdown menus for an image.
    Thanks.

    If you were previously using those pathetic MM-Rollover menus from a previous version of DW, you need to replace them ASAP.   They don't work.

  • Dreamweaver MX - troubles with a pop-up menu/navbar combo

    Hi all,
    I'm attempting to create a 4-button navigation bar, where
    three of the buttons produce a popup menu with links to other pages
    within the site onMouseOver. The navbar itself works great, but I
    put all of that in a template, which of course is automatically
    placed in a template folder. I have 6 or 7 other pages that all use
    that template, and when I preview the template, the drop-down box
    links work fine and I can get to an actual page from the template.
    However once I'm at an actual page, every time I try to use the
    navbar dropdown links again to get to another page, the browser
    can't find the page! I tried moving the template to the same folder
    as the pages, which solves the actual problem, but then prevents
    the pages that are using the template from being automatically
    updated, and therefore creates a new problem.
    Should I just not use a template at all, and copy/paste the
    template code into each page? Or is there another way to fix this
    issue?
    Thanks!

    I'm presuming you are using the DW pop up menus... may I
    suggest that you
    read this article first before going any further:
    http://www.losingfight.com/blog/2006/08/11/the-sordid-tale-of-mm_menufw_menujs/
    There are better ways to create your menu, without all the
    hassles of these
    DW generic ones. Another article:
    http://apptools.com/rants/menus.php
    Anyway, you should not move the template file out of the
    Template folder-
    because as you say, it won't progate any changes to the child
    pages.
    The problem with the popups and the use of templates is in
    the links. The
    dwt file cannot read the actual links that are written in the
    javascript
    file the popups generate. There is a technote at the Adobe
    site, but I
    can't find it right now (seems to be a linking problem on the
    site) do a
    search for: "Using site root-relative paths with Fireworks
    Pop-up Menus in
    Dreamweaver templates", it may explain the issue further for
    you

  • Beyond Pop-Up Menus

    I recently generated a set of pulldown menus using
    dreamweaver 8 behaviors. I am currently trying to modify them.
    First I moved the onmouseover from the link to the table cell.
    During onmousover I want the table cell to turn the same color as
    the pulldown menu (similar to the pulldown menus on the adobe site
    above).
    Test Page
    http://www.triodisplay.com/company/about2.php
    I gave the cells ids and added some javascript. The first
    link (catalog) works correctly while the others don't during
    onMouseout.
    Here is the javascript I created to change the color of the
    cell.
    quote:
    function changeStyleById(id){
    if (document.getElementById)
    var nodeObj = document.getElementById(id)
    nodeObj.style.background = '#333333';
    function changeStyleBackById(id){
    if (menuid != 0) {
    var nodeObj = document.getElementById(id)
    nodeObj.style.background = '#B2B2B2';
    Here is the cell that calls the code.
    quote:
    <td align="left" id="1"
    onMouseOver="MM_showMenu(window.mm_menu_0425152551_0,-2,9,null,'image1',
    '2')" onMouseOut="MM_startTimeout('1');"> <a href="
    http://www.triodisplay.com/ps/ps.php"
    class="topnav"> <img src="testbutton/blank.gif" alt="design"
    name="image1" width="1" height="1" border="0" id="image1">Retail
    Design</a></td>
    Here is a link to the javascript
    http://www.triodisplay.com/company/mm_menu.js
    The problem I am having is onMouseOut="MM_startTimeout('1') .
    MM_startTimeout calls a function and I've inserted a variable for
    it to pass which is equal to the id. The problem is the mm_menu.js
    is a list of functions and I can't figure out how to get my
    variable to my new function.
    I am looking for either an easy way to pass the variable or
    if someone has a suggestions to change the color of the cell with
    the pulldown menus I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.

    Bad choice. So was your selection of the DW pop-up menus.
    Here's what the
    person who adapted that code for Macromedia has to say about
    the method you
    are using -

    Could you possibly consider one of the several other REALLY
    GOOD ways to do
    this? By the way, these good ways would allow you to do what
    you want
    easily....

    I'm trying to build menus in Dreamweaver CS6 Mac, and started using Spry...then learned that Adobe will no loner be supporting Spry and that it may not be as compatible with browsers in the future.
    What's a good alternative wysiwyg menu widget for Dreamweaver that's makes it easy to create horizontal/vertical pop-down menus/sub menus? I'd be willing to pay for it if it's worth it.   Would be nice if it worked within Dreamweaver using Design/Spit modes the way Spry does, but not essential.  Thanks!

    Project Seven are widely regarded for their commercial DW menu extensions.
    PMM3 is one of the best I've seen
    http://www.projectseven.com/products/menusystems/pmm3/index.htm
    I have no affiliation with Project Seven other than as a happy customer.
    There are other menu systems out there too but I've never used them.

    I have a shopping cart aproximately 2 years old that is jsp/servlet. The jsp pages look more like servlets as they have TONS of java code in them. The shopping cart currently has no taglibs in it, and I am in the process of re-writing all jsp pages.
