Create 500 identical Positions

Good Afternoon!
I am looking for a way to create 500 identical positions in OM (with unique position numbers automatically assigned).
Currently to create a new position, transaction code PP03 is used. Each one is created individually, assigning unique attributes.
We have a business need to create 500 identical positions in some kind of mass run.
I have read online about transaction PPOCE, PP01, PP03. I also read LSMW is used to migrate legacy data as well. I haven't found anything so far that will do what we need.
Does anyone know a way to do this? Our customer that was here during implementation insists that there was a transaction code that allowed this and asked how many of the same should be created. I can't find any such transaction.
We would ultimately like to do the all of the creation, submit and approval this way.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post.

Hi,
There is such transaction in "old" functionality of SAP HR system.
Strart transaction PPOM_OLD, select an organizational unit where 500 positions need to be created, go to Menu (left top corner) > Edit > Create > Positions, pop up window will appear, select Job that you wan to use, enter position Abbreviation and Name, enter number of requested positions = 500, enter validity period and Save.
Then 500 identical positions will be created for you without any LSMW or batch input.

Need to create 500 designs, all identical in every way except for a unique QR code

Hi there. I am using Photoshop CS6.
I have a design from which I want to create 500 versions of an image. All will be identical, except for the QR code which will be unique for every one.
The placement of the QR code will be identical in all of them. It's just the actual QR code that changes.
Any idea how I can achieve this in an automated way? I have the QR codes in a folder, already created, and I have the design already created. I just need to marry up the 2 now and end up with 500 design files to give to the printers for printing.

I think you can do it with variables. I haven't ever tried it, but someone posted up a link to it a few weeks back when a similar question came up. I bookmarked it because it looked interesting:

Relationship cannot be created between identical business partners

Hello,
I am implementing CRM 5.0 and trying to create business partner relationships to the identical business partner. For example, I am trying to makbe BP#1 have te relationship 'Has a Contact of' to BP#1. However, I am getting the error message:
'Relationship cannot be created between identical business partners'.
(Message no. R1776)
Has anyone ever encountered this error? Is there any way to create a relationship in SAP-CRM to the same business partner?

Hi Daniel
In short: No, it is not possible to have a relationship "between" a BP and itself.
In long: In R/3 there are partner roles like Sold to, ship to and others. When CRM was designed the people at SAP did want to simplify a bit and implemented the following logic for partner determination: If there is no relationship of a searched type, the BP itself is taken. As a result a relationship pointing to its source is not allowed as it would duplicate the information already existing.

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database?

How to create an identical local copy of a mail without attachments?

I would like to save a copy of an IMAP-Message to my db without the attachments.
As I cannot modify the original message, I tried to create a new MimeMessage with the constructor MimeMessage(MimeMessage source) and then remove the attachments - this works fine so far, but using this constructor only the body seems to get copied without subject, recipients or from-address.
Can anybody give me a hint how to create an identical local copy of a Message-Object? I would rather like to do this without installing any local third party providers.

Sorry, found the problem - I did some things with the InputStream before I should not have - now the message gets saved without attachments and can be reopened.

Creating Multiple Playback Positions on a Track

Hello,
This should be quite simple and i'm trying to emulate a feature on youtube. Basically, i have some very long music tracks, mixes and so forth, that are about an hour long. What is the simplest way to create multiple playback positions in one track? This is sort of like how you can list multiple playback positions on youtube. I'm not sure if this is the same as remembering playback positions, as that is more about playing from when you left off. I'm talking more clickable playback positions for a single music track/mix.

I'm not an expert but I think that is only possible with video files which support chapter markers. I have never heard of anybody doing it in iTunes or with music files. The closest I have heard is iTunes allowing you to set a start and stop time for tracks, but I think that is saved in iTunes data and is not part of the file.

Creating a new position and updating IT 1028 using HCM processes and forms

I have to create a new position and update the related infotypes using the design time framework of HCM processes and forms. The problem I am facing is the info type 1028 is not a part of the de coupled infotype framework and does not appear in the service fields list. How can I update the infotype 1028? I was thinking of updating it using the FLUSH method of the class implementing the ADV services interface IF_HRASR00GEN_SERVICE_ADVANCED by calling the function module RH_INSERT_INFTY. But, how do I get the position ID created? Is there any other way of achieving this? Please help as soon as possible.

Create one Function Module to return all the vacant positions and load that in a drop down.
For IT1028 you have to update via the RH_INSERT_INFTY.

Error while creating multiple identity realms

I am trying the tutorial for creating multiple identity realms posted on

While executing "STEP 12" to enter the following values:
-User Search Base,
-User Creation Base,
-Group Search Base,
-Group Creation Base
I get the following error:
Identity Management Realm Modification Error!
Cannot Modify Identity Management Realm : [LDAP: error code 20 - Attribute Or Value Exists]
For some reason this step just doesnt seem to work. I am using OCS 10.1.1 on Solaris10

Hi. It is a "feature" of SRM.
I asked SAP about it and did not get a good response.
If you enter Asset A, it will copy the internal order number from that asset into the cart. You can not see the internal order in the web, but you can see it in BBP_PD.
If you then change the asset to asset B, it will not refresh the internal order number.
This means you get internal order A on asset B.
It happens any time you change asset number, so if you copy a line then change you will get this problem.
We ended up using the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI to RFC into R/3 and update the internal order number.

Numbers skipped while creating a new position (Internal number range)

Hello,
We have internal number range set up starting with 20000001 in PROD for Positions under OM.
The last number used for position was 20000693. But while creating a new position, the end user got the new number as 20000705. I checked the t-code OONR and it shows the current number as 20000729.
I have no idea why the numbers got skipped. Can anyone please let me know why this could have happened and how to correct it?

The solution suggested by SAP lies in the SAP OSS Note 87865 - Buffering number ranges for personnel planning.
Which says -
''During buffering of number ranges, gaps can result during number assignment. If you require a continuous number assignment, you must deactivate the buffering for the number range object 'RP_PLAN' in Transaction SNRO.
However, this can affect the performance during numberassignment.''
So the only way to get continuous number range assignment, the buffering option needs to be set to 'No Buffering'. But it can affect system performance and is considered a modification. So we decided to go ahead with the buffering option set in the standard configuration and not to deactivate the buffering for the number range objects.

I am just confused the saying that the column positioning in creating tables does not matter for relational database?
Do you agree or disagree.
For me I do not agree. Why?

1. how do I figure out what is the current default tablespace
2. how do I figure out the current temporary tablespace?
3. the table space and temporary table space get deleted when I drop the user. if Yes, Is it possible some other user's default tablespace and temporary tablespace is the same as well.

Create two identical idocs from one input file with BPM

Hello all .
My issue is the following.
I have a scenario where an input file is mapped to an IDOC .
The problem is that i need to create a second - almost identical - mapping to the same IDOC type and when the input file is receive both of them should be sent .
I suppose that BPM is needed for this scenario, but are there any examples or tips i should follow?

I have started trying Rucinski's method, because I would better avoid redoing the mapping on the second IDOC (it is pretty hard and critical) . But I have a problem.
When i run the senario, the system replies (for the second IDOC)
"Unable to interpret IDoc interface NEW_IDOC_MI"
The reason for this is that in the Interface Determination i have two entries for the inbound interface,
Orders.orders05 and
NEW_IDOC_MI,
which is wrong. I should be using the original Orders.orders05. But this can't be done, because in tha case the Interface Determination, requests a Condition to be entered. Any suggestions on this ?
Sarvesh, is there any way to duplicate the IDOC, keeping the mapping that is allready done ?
