Create a Custom Color

All,
I want to create a custom color for my bubbles (UPK 11). I modified the ops file and that works fine for newly created topics. However when I try to change the bubbles in previously created versions I have to enter all the color parameters (RGB, HSL). I try to use that as a new custom color but the Define Custom Colors button is grayed out. Also when I click the Add to Custom Colors, nothing happens. Do I have to be an admin to be able to do this?
Dennis

Unfortunately, once you record a UPK topic the only way to change the bubble colors is frame by frame using the Properties panel. Updates to the .OPS file only affect new UPK content.

How to create a "Custom Color" for highlighting? (Acrobat XI)
The numbers in the RGB and other fields change as various numbers are changed.
I wanted to create a pale orange:
    Hue               13      Red      255
    Saturation   240      Green  177
    Luminosity    86       Blue     140
I'd selected one of the orange squares in the color grid, to display the general orange area of the slider.
I moved the slider to select a pale orange, which generated the above numbers.   Since this wasn't directly available to save to a Custom Color, I tried to  edit the numbers.  Unfortunately, the other numbers changed, making it impossible to actually create a color.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Note:  I used Techsmith's Snagit to show screen shots in a Word document.
When I attempted to browse and upload the file, the error message said "[The content type of this image is not allowed.]"
    OK...what images *are* allowed?

    Hi Don,
I saw Gilad answered your question in another forum post.
Do you have everything you need at this point?
Let me know if you need further assistance.

  • How to Create a Custom Color Chooser/Palette with 16 or 24bit Color Support

    Hi All,
I need some help on how to create a color palette/chooser with 16 bit or 24 bit color options available
    First setting up the context:
I am developing an application which allows designing some GUI screens by adding various controls.
Now these GUI Screens developed are compiled and downloaded into a series of display devices with each device having a different color support (For e.g. 256 colors, 16 bit, 24 bit and 32 bit).
Now according to the selected device i would need to provide the "Color Chooser" with only those colors that are supported by the device. SO I need to design a Color Palette(s)/Chooser(s) with 16 bit, 24 bit or 32 bit color options
Could anyone help me out on how to create such palette? A piece of sample code would be a great help
    Best Regards

It is not that simple... reason I almost never use those old captions anymore but replaced them by shapes (much easier to format).
Have a look at the available captions: for each caption you'll need a bmp and a fcm file, and follow naming conventions. See:

  • Custom color palette in WAD charts

    Hi BI Experts,
we are trying to create a custom color palette, which we want to apply to all your WAD charts.
Can anyone tell us how to do this?
Of course we can customize the colors in each chart, but that's a hell of a lot of work. Moreover, there doesn't seem to be any way to save the custom colors, but we have to recreate the colors with the color picker for every single chart.
The WAD chart wizard allows to choose between color palettes "Enjoy", "Streamline", "Tradeshow" and "User specific".
If it is not possible to create a custom color palette, can we modify one of these SAP color palettes? What does "User specific" mean?
Any help will be much appreciated (and of course rewarded with points).

  • Custom Color Palette for Charts / CSS

Is there a way of creating a custom color palette for charts (as you can do it in WebIntelligence) and install it on the tomcat?
Or will I have to set my custom colors in the css? And if so: where can I find a description of classes for Charts? Is there any description of css classes at all? All I could find was a list of classes for a crosstab (but no description).
    Thank you
    Carola

    Carola,
Dirk Mayrock has a nice list here Design Studio 1.1 Full List of CSS classes (?)
I think you have seen that already.

  • Problem using custom color profiles in Camera Raw

    Dear Adobe Community,
I've created a custom color profile using the DNG profile editor, and I've been able to open that custom .dcp file in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) through Adobe Bridge.  However, when I apply the color profile to the same image, I do not get the same results as I get with the profile editor.  When I open the "corrected" RAW file in Adobe Photoshop, the colors are the same wrong colors that I have in Bridge, am I missing something here?

    Yes, you're missing something.
Camera profiles are meant to account for different spectral distribution in different light sources, which is something else than different color temperatures. You still have to make all the normal adjustments, like white balancing, to get the image right.

  • Color Palette custom color deployment

    Hello,
I'm using Forms 9.0.4. I created a custom color called 'tooltext' in the default color palette. Then I created a Visual Attribute called TOOLTIP_VA that used 'tooltext' as its background. Finally I set the Visual Attribute for some of my Tooltips to TOOLTIP_VA.
Now when I run this in Forms Builder the tooltip colors come up OK. I transferred my FMB file to the Linux formserver and compiled it there to FMX. When I run this form it works too. So I was assuming that somehow the RGB for my custom color is encoded in the FMB file. Is that right?
I acually expected this not to work (I didn't expect the RGB to be stored in the FMB). Curiously enough when I convert the FMB to XML the RGB for 'tooltext' is NOT in the XML file. However the string 'tooltext' is in the XML file. What's up with that? Does the FMB have the actual RGB values for 'tooltext'? If not, how is it getting the color correctly when I deploy to the forms server? I'm not deploying any PAL file, just the FMB.

Forms .fmb files contain a color pallette. If you create a new form, and put nothing in it, then save it, it will be at least 32k. If you edit it with a generic text editor, you will see lots of sequences of rgb numbers.
It is pretty strange that Forms stores the color palette -- completely unnecessary, I would think. Seems like they could just store the rgb sequence of your custom color rather than store the whole palette. I wish they would remove the color palette from the fmb, because there are other bugs related to colors caused by the reliance of a color pallette.

  • Auto Apply Custom Color Palette to photo?

    I have two questions:
    1) Is there a way to automatically capture colors from a photo to automatically create a custom color palette? (for example, if I want a color palette of 20 colors, it would automatically pick 20 colors and create a palette).
    2) Is there a way to take a custom color palette, and automatically apply that palette to a photo?
(I don't want to just use the color picker to choose my colors....I am looking for automation)
    Thanks!

I'm not sure... maybe I could use index colors.... I will look into that. I have found some "color palette generators" online, which I need to investigate also. I just thought that maybe there was a feature directly in photoshop that might work.
Attached are sample images. I would like to automatically take a color palette from the lilies, and apply those colors automatically to the forest. I would like the forest to have the same color scheme as the lilies, so that the two images would look very similar.

  • Custom Color in Smartform?

I'm creating a new smartform and none of the 64 pre-defined colors are what I need.  Is there a way to create a custom color?  I need to use it to shade boxes and in smartstyles for the color of some text.

I don't know, if it is possible to create a new custom color pallet or not. But, we can achieve the required background color by modifying the Color Definition at runtime.
Check this WIKI, which describes the way to clear the background color:
    https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Snippets/DynamicBackgroundColorsinSmartForms
The same way, you can modify the corrosponding RED, GREEN and BLUE values in the FILLCOLOR and the CFILLCOLOR structure parts in the BORDER definition.
    Like:
                   L_BORDER-FILLCOLOR-RED = '195'.
                   L_BORDER-FILLCOLOR-green = '217'.
                   L_BORDER-FILLCOLOR-blue  = '255'.
                   L_BORDER-CFILLCOLOR-XRED = 'C3'.
                   L_BORDER-CFILLCOLOR-xgreen = 'D9'.
                   L_BORDER-CFILLCOLOR-xblue = 'FF'.
You can use this cool site http://html-color-codes.info/ to know the hexa code and the RGB value of any color.
    In the Hexvalue:
    Red = First 2 digit
    Green = 3,4 digit
    Blue = last 2 digit

  • Can't delete custom color profile

I created a custom color profile and now it won't let me delete it, the delete option is grayed out. I have looked in the colorsync profile folder and it isn't there either. Does anyone know how to delete it?
    Message was edited by: Chad3405

    Chad,
Open your Color Sync Utility, and find the profile in question. Once highlighted, it will show the path for that profile under "Profile Information:". Follow that path, and you can delete it from there, though it will probably ask for an administrator password. That should be it.
    Hope this helps,

  • Custom Color Picker using Radio buttons??

I'm trying to create a custom color picker as Apex color picker has tooo many colors.  I thought a radio button would work if I could program the text to also display the color, but the following sql shows the formatted text in the result.
    SELECT  '<font color="'||color_id||'"><b>'||color_name||'</b></font>' d, color_name r FROM colors
    <font color="#F0F8FF"><b>AliceBlue</b></font>
    <font color="#FAEBD7"><b>AntiqueWhite</b></font>
    <font color="#00FFFF"><b>Aqua</b></font>
    <font color="#7FFFD4"><b>Aquamarine</b></font>
I know I can make text different colors in a report using this technique.
    Any ideas?

The font element has been deprecated for many years, is now obsolete, and must not be used by authors.
To control the presentation of text, use a suitable semantic text element with CSS. If no suitable semantic text element exists, use span:
    <span style="color: #00FFFF; font-weight: bold;">Aqua</span>

  • Another Custom Color Problem

OK, I found Kuler because of NAPP and thought it would be a
nice tool. I'm trying to create my custom colors but it does not
seem to work. I'm using win Vista, and the latest version of FF,
flash player 9. When I enter the hex code, the color does not
change. If I use the slides, it skips over numbers that I need. If
I enter the colors rgb numbers, they stay until I click to the next
swatch and revert back to the previous code? If I do it by CMYK I
get a different shade of color than I do in Illustrator.
I'm trying to create a color swatch based on a web site I'm
making and I can't get this thing to work. The color I'm having the
most problem with is ABC178 or RGB code 171, 193, 120 I can get
close, but not those values. Entering HEX does not change any of
    the above values.

    Hi,
    That does sound frustrating.
Just checking, did you hit return after inputting the values?
I'm able to input the ABC178 hex value and the RGB equivalent using
Win XP FF 1.5. I input the number, hit return and the swatch
    changes,
If you did hit return, please send me your OS/browser
    version.
Additional tip: if for some reason you can't get the
insertion point for the color value input field (only the hand),
try clicking on another space and then reselect the one you want.
    Hope this helps!

  • Creating a custom colorpicker / item_roll_over issues

    Greetings all!
I am trying to make a color picker that displays the name of the color that the mouse is over in a label.  While this works fine in my test file, the item_roll_over event does not fire in its working environment (its embedded into an html page).  And ideas or suggestions on that would be appreciated.
In the meantime, my plan is to create a customer color picker that would display the color's name in the ColoPicker's textbox instead of the html code that normally goes there.  Any idea as to how to do this?
By the way, the list of colors that the picker displays and the name the company wants to use for each are via an xml file.
Thanks for your time and help!

use the html file published by flash.

  • To create custom colors for exception

    Hi experts......
I need to create custom colors for my report in order to set exceptions. Shades of red, yellow and green is just not enough for my client, they want to see blue as well when certain exception rises. Can someone please give me a hint as to how to implement that ...is it got to do st with the mime repository?
    Thnaks in advance!
    Tina

    Hi Tina,
You can do this by formatting in the workbook. Run the query and in the workbook, on the BEx toolbar, there is a button for formatting. Select the exception cell whose color you want to change > in the Format button choos epatterns and select the color you would like. Once you have made the changes, save the workbook. The changes will remain in place the next time the user runs this workbook.

  • Lightroom 5.7. How to create custom color labels.

I would like to create custom color labels. I have created names for five colors, but the "custom" color (white) does not appear to be customisable
Any ideas? Ideally I would like two more color labels.

There are two versions of LR, a cloud-licensed version and a serial-number-licensed version.
It sounds like you’ve installed the cloud one which Adobe makes very easy to do, hoping you’ll signup for the cloud.
Assuming you have a serial-number from your purchase, you should uninstall the cloud-licensed LR trial, and then install the serial-number-licensed version from the Adobe Updates page and input the serial number:
