Create a manditory "username" for WRT54G logon

Is it possible to modify the configuration on a Linksys router so as a value is required in the "username" when you log onto to the router?

Only third party firmware has a username / password login combination.

    I lost username for WRT54GS so I tried resetting as per instructions, holding down reset key for 30 seconds, but can't log in using 'admin' and blank password, which I understand is factory default, and which should have been restored on reset--right? I have reset the router at least 3 times, always making sure I push reset key in for 30 seconds. That's the simplest to explain of two related problems.
    On a second computer on same network, I have no Internet access at all, and if I try to get to the router it says it can't find 192.168.1.1. Since I can access the Internet on computer #1, and also have a voice over IP device hooked up to router that is also working, I assume this problem is on computer #2 and not the router EXCEPT--how does this relate to the problem stated for computer #1?
    Before this particular way of acting, computer #2 was announcing that there was an IP address conflict. It doesn't say that now, it just can't connect to anything. What's odd is that if I display network connections on computer #2, the Linksys connection shows and displays strong signal exactly as it does on computer #1, so obviously computer #2 can 'see' the router, but clicking 'Connect' on the wireless network connections window doesn't work, it simply won't connect. I tried setting up network again but that didn't clear the problem.
    I have a great suspicion this has to do, at least in part, with IP addresses but don't know where to go from here.
    I appreciate detailed step by step instructions because I am a novice at this. Brave but ignernt.

    Actually, its the other way around, blank username and admin for the password.

    OK, so if your current Apple ID using your AOL Username (like johndoe), then you need to log onto Manage your Apple ID and EDIT that AOL Username to a valid email address: Apple - My Apple ID
    If you have an AOL email address (like [email protected]), and you are not using that as another Apple ID, you can change the AOL Username Apple ID to that. Otherwise, you can change it to any valid email address (which you will have to verify when you change to it).

    We had to create a new username for gamecenter using the same apple ID.  We want to use the old gamecenter account....we have purchased in-app items for those games and now have no access to that account.  How can I fix this?  Or am I just out of luck and start over with the new username.....

    You are running into the Activation lock and you need to enter the Apple ID and password for the account last used on the iPod.

    Plz clarify ypur requirement.
    As i m getting, for first screen u need user_name and password, so u have to create two input fields.
    And bind these input fields with the context attributes. For the input field which is used for password,
    changed its properties. Select the property Password Field.
    and what ever details u want to show u can use just select statement.

    At one time only Email IDs from Apple (when it was just @Mac.com) were referred to as "Apple IDs"
    Other IDs such as to log in to Discussions were know as Discussion IDs
    Things like the Online Store and iTunes and Apple realising that people would prefer one ID to have access to Everything tended to move things together.

    i have 2 Apple ID's under my name , and have a username on support communities under one of my older ID's but now i want to create one more username under my newer ID but the thing is i get this error whenever i try to create one.
    An account utilizing this email address already exists.
    Only one account per email address is allowed on Apple Support Communities.

    The system is unavailable.
    so guys please help me with this.

    i have a total of 3 Apple ID with 2 of them i have discussions profiles
    but the 3rd one won't let me allow to create a profile it says this

  • ITS 620 - how to create a service file for SAPGUI for HTML option

    We have the following configuration :
    ITS 620 installed
    IIS webserver
    NTLM Authentication on webserver
    SAP 46C
    We have some reports that use the IACs option of creating ITS reports and we are able to create the service files using webstudio where we can save a service id and password so that when the ITS page is called, it logs on the user directly into the system.
    Now, we are trying to create a new ITS page for a custom Z transaction and would like to use the SAPGUI for HTML option so that we do not have to use Webstudio to create and modify the HTML pages.
    When I call the ITS page for the new transaction, it brings up the logon screen for the user, which we want to avoid. If I create a new service file for this Z transaction without any HTML pages then I get an error.
    Is there a way to copy the WEBGUI.SRVC file to a custome SRVC file, I tried to create to copy it to a test file called ZTEST.SRVC for my test transaction called ZTEST and now I get an error.

    You can create a service file, like ZSERVICE.SRVC.  The parameters should be:
    ~webgui 1
    ~transaction ztransaction
    ~client  001
    ~login   username
    ~password  password
    ~language  EN
    The "~webgui 1" allows the ITS to use the Webgui to dynamically generate the page (no IAC needed.)
    The "~transaction" is the transaction code of your service.
    The "~client" is the client number.
    The "~login" is the username.
    The "~password" is the user's password.
    the "~language" is the language for the users.
    Note that the last four are required for automatic logon.  If end users use a variety of languages though the ~language can be prepended to the URL to support different languages.  (Leave it blank in the srvc file then.)

  • How can we load apps without creating an Apple ID for each employee?

    We have at least two apps that we'd like to distribute to our company iPads.  We would like to hand the employee the iPad with everything loaded.  We don't care if they create their own Apple ID and manage it after the fact but when the employee gets the iPad, it should have the apps they require.
    How do we load these apps without creating an Apple ID for each employee?  If we load the apps from App Store with our Apple ID, the app requires that username and password whenever there is an update.  The employee can not update the app without our username and password or they have to delete and reinstall the app with their own credentials.  Is there a way to load an app so that it doesn't require the credentials of the person that loaded it whenever there's an update?

    Click on Download and save the file on your Desktop..
    Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
    Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use dmin in lower case...Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab-Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful"  After the firmware
    upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
    Now reset your router :
    Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

    You will still need to configure SSO (either by logon ticket or username/password). The data source access is done using the username/password configured in the UM Config dialog box.
    I can see where you're coming from with your thinking, however logon-ticket-based SSO is probably the best approach.

    &#61656;     Take notepad in it save .R/3 & BW logical names go to R/3 & click SM59 to create R/3 connections click then a screen opens gives BW logical name in RFC Destination option & give connection. type 3 & give some description & then press enter.

    Suddenly the working CRM is being stopped for some group of users.
    I drilled down to the issue and have checked that the users from Domain in which CRM is installed are having CRM access.
    But for other domain user having problem to access CRM.
    I tried to add a user from a domain which is not of CRM domain then it gives following error.
    "Business Management Error: You are attempting to create a user with a domain logon that does not exist. Select another domain logon and try again.
    <Message>LookupAccountNameW failed with error</Message> "
    The change is made - AD group have upgraded Activer Directory server to 2012 R2
    Please help as the Production CRM is not working for other domain user.

    We have Activer Directory Structure like below.
    One Root Domain says A
    and there are multiple child domain like B,C,D etc...
    B,C and D are all in same level,they are child of A domain.
    There are two way transitive trusts between A and all the child Domain.
    But there is no trust in between B and C and so on.
    Our CRM server is in B domain and B domain's user can access CRM but users of Domain C,D and so on can not access CRM.

  • Report sometimes prompts for database logon prior to execution

    I have installed the Crystal Reports Integration Addon on our system and it works correclty for users on our terminal services server.  But when I installed it on a user's PC running Windows XP, when I go to execute an existing report, the Runtime viewer launches, and then displays a Database logon panel with the Server field filled in, the database field is blank, and the SA user and password fields are populated, and I get an error that says logon failed.  I type in the SA user id and password, but get the same error.
    If the same user logs onto the TS server, the runtime viewer launches correctly and the report prompts for input, then displays the appropriate data (no database logon is requested). But if it runs at that user's workstation, the viewer launches, and then prompts for database logon.
    We are running SAP 2007A SP00 PL47, CR Basic 2008 for SAP Business One, and the runtime viewer is Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime SP1. version 2.0.0.7

    I am not sure what the problem is.
    The only workaround I can think of is to change the Integrated Security in the report to true. This means that you will be using Windows Authentication as opposed SQL Authentication. This will not prompt for SQL username and password.
    Usually this is NOT an ideal process as you will have to Add each and every Windows user in the SQL Database you are trying to access. For example, you have to add DOMAIN_NAME\User_Name under the Database Properties.
    I am not sure what the minimum security you need to run the report. You will try a few different options and see what works best for you. Avoid permissions that would give users ability to write to the SQL database.
    Again, I know this is not ideal. But I am not sure what else can be done here.
