Create a new output device SPAD

Hi all, i have ECC 6.0 running in Windows Server 2003 SR2, i am trying to add a new local printer using Tcode SPAD, i'm connected remotly using saprouting and i need print in a local printer from my office, when i try to create a new printer in SPAD this option appers disabled? Somebody knows why? i have sap_all and connected from client 000 without success.

Issue when changing a PO: it creates a new output record automatically

Hello,
The goal is to prevent that a new output record is automatically attached to a purchase order after a change has occurred.
Current situation:
Create a PO for holding and an output record is created for output type ZHP1.
Release PO.
Print the PO in ME9F.
Change the condition record in MN05 and change the language of the print to a different language than the one of the supplier.
Change the PO by adding some header text, the system adds a second output on the purchase order in the language of the cond record.
This should not happen.
Any idea how to achieve this goal rather via customizing than new implementation/changing the SAP standard code!

Hi, I'm working with Aydin on this issue.
It creates the second message on the PO and if processed via ME9F then it prints.
But we dont want even that the second output gets created.
We do not work with version management so changes to PO do not create second message.
This second message comes up because language code has been changed in MN05 (one time change) after the first print.
System sees that first message on PO is with language A and now condition record is with lang B.
So If I change any little thing on the PO just to trigger message redetermination, it attaches a second output in the lang B.
If I dont change language code in MN05 and I still do my little change on PO, then it does not attach a second output message (which is good for us)
I thought the only way out is to write a requirement program that would check that if a message already exists on the PO for that output type then dont create a second one. What do you think?

Unable to create a new "output type"

I am a newbie. forgive me.
I am logged on to my IDES (client 000) using the SAPUSER username.
I am doing SD configuration and I am on the stage of output determination.
I was about to define a new output type but I cannot do it because the "new entries" button is missing ([see image|http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/x421/darkmatter1/196235/outputdetermination.jpg]).
I did not encounter any notice or error when I opened tcode V/30. Even the "Copy As" is not enable.

I would like to create a new output device, but the "Create" option is in grey color.
I have follow the below path to do it, but no luck.

Hi everybody,
I need to create a new output device for an Intermec PM4I printer, and it should print from the server, because I can not have local printers on a mobile device.
I created a new ouput device with the following information:
Previously I installed the printer with its corresponding driver in Windows level:
Device Type: LB_UBI for Direct Protocol
Host Spool Access Method: C: Direct operating system call
When I tested the printer, the spool requests are created and they say that were Processed completelly, but they never were printed.
Do you have any idea?

IMG settings after creating new output type for a purchase order smartform

Hi all,
Do I need to make changes in IMG after creating a new output type in NACE for a purchase order smartform?
I have customized a purchase order smartform according to the requirements and copied an existing output type and assigned the custom form name.
When I am trying to create a purchase order to test it, I am going to the message tab for assigning the output type and if I press F4 on the output type field or if I give the copied output type there, it says output type is not defined.
Do I need to make any changes in SPRO?

Yes. You have to add the new output type to the proper message determination schema.
Go to the IMG and select Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output control -> Message determination schemas -> Define message schema for purchase order -> Maintain Message Determination Schema: Purchase Order.
Select the proper schema, then Control Data and insert your new output type into the schema (eventually with any requirement that may be necessary... you probably want to use 101 like in case of the regular NEU message).
This should do it.

Hello, I have created a new output in copy of Eksu with transaction v/38 and activated it in my shipping point ... The problem is that when the delivery is created, the output is not generated... Can one of you guys explain me how it is generated ? And why extra customising point I should Check?

Check the path SPRO->Logisctics Execution->shipping->basic shipping function ->Output control->output determination->maintain output determination for outbound deliveries.Has this output type been assigned to the respective output determination procedure? Maker sure relevant output master record has been created in t.code VV21/VV22.
Also you can do analysis in VL02N. Go to menu Extras-> delivery output->Item. Then click on i button. Click on the new output that you have added. The system will display the reason for it.

How can i make an output device a required entry when creating a new output conditon record?
Example: When going into VV31 and setting up new output condition record, I am trying to force user to specify an output device.
Can some one let me know if it is possible to do?

For a Zreport , menu -> execute and Print (standard menu ), I specify the Printer as eMail and specify the email address and the mail is sent to the address .
Is there anyway I can change the Subject Line of the email ? is there any tcode to create my own output device ?

Trouble with audio midi set up new aggregate device

hello im alex, im using apogee duet with logic and live, sorry for the mistakes , i am italian.
a guy from ableton suggest me to create a new aggregate device made by apogee out and built in out put together in order to have a pre in the headphones
THE PROBLEM : after create a new aggregate device , when i check the boxes to select inputs and outputs, the boxes stay empty, unchecked.
(sometime i see flash of the window opening but after a millisecond desapperead)
somebody can tell me something good to resolve ? thank u

I'm having this same problem. Makes no difference which devices are selected, it isn't possible to create a new aggregate device with any devices at all, internal or external. 10.5.8 Audio MIDI setup 2.2.2

Shd i create a new outype

AM printing a label through VL10c transaction based on condition.
IF kunnr = '1234'
FORM = 'F1'. "this form has a output type
ELSE.
FORM = 'NEW FORM'. "has no out put type defined in nace .
ENDIF.
Now do i need to create a output type for my new form.
the form prints for 4 times .(print program called four times)
i was able to print my form for the 3 rd and 4 th iteration.though output type not assigned.and out put device is correct.
for 1 st and 2 nd iteration the out put device is default one (deffernt from others).
nace is already filled before triggering the print program.
can you expalin me how to get the place where NAST structure is filled ....
from VL10c my print programn triggers. and before coming to print program the nast structre filled with some data ...how to reach there

you shud create a new output type,.
the Nast structure is filled from NACE Transaction.
goto NACE-> select an APPLICATION->OUTPUT TYPES>you will get a list of output types select or create one output type>PROCESSING ROUTINES---> here you will get the program,Form routine and Form, In Form you can attach your New-Form .

IMG->SALES AND DISTRIBTION->BASIC FUNCTIONS->OUTPUT CONTROL->OUTPUT DETERMINATION->OUTPUT DETERMINATION USING CONDITION TECHNIQUE->MAINTAIN OUTPUT FOR SALES DOCUMENTS--->
There you can define the condition types and the access sequence
Or else directly goto the transaction code NACE where you can define all at once , even the condition records.

Change Output Device Of Report

I have been given a request to change the output device (laser printer) of a report within our SAP system. All I know is the report name (YAPR9876), current output device (BH9J), and requested new output device (THBQ).
How can I go about finding this report and updating its output device.

There is a section in IM customising under outout determination and printer determination where youn can make settings as to what prints where.
This report must have a setting and when you find it just change the printer

Hi,
You needn't to create one new output type, you can use the same one as output type's medium "Print out", just maintain the medium 5-"External send", that will be okay!
