Create a new schema from existing schema

Hi, I'm wondering whether there is a way of create a schema from
existing one? Could it done through SQL statement or have to go
through some sort of tools? Please drop me a few words if you
know the answer. Thanks.

Hi,
U can do that in a few steps.
First create the User.
Then Go to the Source User and grant him create any table privs.
Then write a Sql Stmt to generate the necessary scripts and run it.
The other way would be to grantr the newuser select on all the tables and then run that script from his account.

  • Can you create a new comp from a clip after you already have one in your project?

    I know if you create a new project and import a clip, then drag that clip down to the timeline panel, After Effects will create a new composition based off of the specs of the clip, which is exactly as long as the clip.  Is there a way to do this after you have already created one composition in your project?
    I've tried it and it just wants to add the clip to an already opened composition or if you close all the compositions, it wants to add it to the render queue.

    Actually, that's not quite right. To create a new composition with settings that match those of the footage item, you drag the footage item to the Create A New Compsotion button at the bottom of the Project panel. See "Create a composition".
    If you drag a footage item from the Project panel to the Timeline panel for an already existing composition, then you are telling After Effects to create a new layer based on that footage item inside the existing composition.
    If you drag a footage item to the Render Queue panel, then After Effects creates a new composition from the footage item and immediately adds that composition to the render queue.

  • How to create a new connection from SAPGUI to Test drive?

    Hi,
    I have installed Sap Netweaver Test drive on a linux virtual machine (windows host). The installation was successful and I was able to start the instance (application server and the database), yet I don't know how to create a new connection from my SAPGUI client (7.20) to this server. The static IP address of the server is 192.168.1.160.
    I entered the following values for my new connection entry
    Description: SAP Netweaver
    Application server: 192.168.1.160
    Instance number: 01
    System ID: DB2
    SAProuter: /H/192.168.1.160/S/3201/H/
    But it does not work. Any idea about the values needed  for creating a new entry?

    First of all, synonyms only help you easy reference the object. It doesn't have any implication of object privilege.
    As long as you have proper privilege on target object. You can access it with or without synonyms.
    Assuming you have proper privilege of objects, you can use following command to assume schema owner.
    ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA = Schema_owner

    Delete the ZIP, write a new one. You can't modify an existing archive.

  • Unable to create a new listener from the EM Console

    When I try to create a new listener from Enterprise Manager Console, it displays an error message: Error in getting data for creating new listener. Check if the listener.ora location "/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/network/admin" is a valid one. It is absolutely a valid ORACLE_HOME, in fact, I can setup TNS Connect Alias and Profiles from here, but the listener has became a pain in the neck.
    I know I can use the java netmgr or netca or even vi to set it up; however, it is a must that it has to be done through Enterprise Manager Console (show EM manageability issues).

    Im using EM, not GC. I did not try to create the listener form EM, as I always created them from Net Manager. After creating them, I used to be able to see them listed in EM, following these steps --> click on the target listener on the homepage --> click on Net Services Administration --> scrolling the scrollbox to listeners and click go.
    One day I tried to scroll to "local naming" instead of "listeners", clicked "go" and tried to create a new one (actually cancelled the operation before saving the changes). Since that moment I see the error when trying to see the list of listener in EM.

    I want to know how to create/split  transport request from existing transport request in ECC 6.0

    hai kumar,
    split the request means ?
    u can assign objects of one request to another  and merge two requests
    but u cant split one requet in to , u can assign task from one request to another
    u have lot fo options just search in menu and u get them

  • Is it possible to create a new List from another List's template and NOT carry over the associated Workflow?

    this post, in cases where it's desirable to have two different workflows for two different Lists—is it possible to NOT bring forward a hardwired workflow when creating a new List from a saved template?
    I.e. List #2 still has the workflow from List #1 hardwired in.  List #1 still needs its workflow but List #2 wants to have a separate Workflow.

    More importantly, because it's relatively easy for most folks to just start from scratch with a new Workflow—how does one disassociate a carried-over Workflow from the new List?
    Use the web-GUI. (List Settings > Workflow Settings)
    From Designer, there's a shortcut button at the top of the page in the Workflows tab: "Administration Web Page".

  • How to create new solution from Existing solution in integration services on TFS project?

    Hi,
    I am working on SSIS Project and it is created in VS 2008 .I opened the solution in VS 2010 and it is upgraded and unfortynately i don't have the back up to re open it in VS 2008.I am thinking of creating new solution from the existing one and open the new
    solution in VS 2008.I was struck how can we copy existing solution to new solution on TFS.
    Please let me know will this process work? and also how can we create a new solution without losing any files.
    Any help is appreciated.

    As Joost said, you can try to revert the changes back for the checked in files in TFS. For more information, please see:

    If it doesn’t work, I am afraid you have to design the package in VS 2008 from scratch.
