Create a rule for one specific day

Greetings,
I am not sure this is the right forum for me to ask for help; if not, please kindly redirect me to the right one. Thanks
I am using MS Office 2013 outlook on Windows 7. Love it. However, I would like to create one out-of-office reponse indicating that I will not in the office on Fridays.
Is there a way to do so?
If you know a way, please guide me through.

Which type of email account are you using? POP3, IMAP or Exchange?
If you are using an Exchange account, you can go to File > Info > Automatic Replies to set your Out of Office settings. For more information, please refer:

If you are using a non-Exchange account, you can set rules to simulate the functionality. See:

How do i filter a search to find all photos for a specific day and month for all years?

Hmm.. Well, the only way I've been able to see that is to use filters, and control click on each year-day combo (using control/command click to select more than one entry) and LR will show them all. You might then drag them into a collection...
Of if you're not doing this a lot, you could create a smart collection and make a field for each year by "capture date" (which apparently won't let you add wildcard values).
If nobody else has a better suggestion (quite possibly they will!), then you might put in a feature request to allow Date in smart collections to have a wild card.

How to create incident rule for SOA composite faulted instances

Hi Experts,
How can I create an incident rule for creating an incident when a SOA composite instance goes faulted. I want to notify the administrator when any of the SOA composite instance gets faulted but I am not able to undestand in my incident rule what type of event should be used,in-short I am not able to understand how can I create a rule for eveluating SOA composite faulted instances.
I am posting this query third time here. Please suggest me a solution or is this a limitation of OEM 12c Cloud Control ?

Creating Incident rules is a very simple process as long as you know what event you wanna create your rule one. In your case specifically, its even more simple since you already know your target type and metric name.
Steps:
1) Create a rule set.
2) On the same page hit "Targets" tab and select "All target types" and select "SOA Composite" from the target type list.
3) Now hit "Rules" tab and then hot "Create" and then select first radio button - "Incoming events" since you wanna wrap SOA composite fault metric alert event into a rule.
4) Now select "Type" and select "Metric Alert"
5) Now since you are interested in a "specific event" - SOA composite fault metric alert event, select that radio button and hit "Add"
6) From the "Target Type" dropdown, select "SOA Composite" target type and type "%Fault%" in the Metric name textbox and hit Search.
7) Select you Metric name and select you severity as you wish.
8) Add Actions - create notification, emails etc. (Refer docs to understand how best you can use these options as needed)
9) Save your rule and save your Rule set.
You have a rule (Make sure its enabled) that will execute your specified actions when any SOA Composite will breach your the selected metric (Fault metric in your case)

Defining an exit variable for a specific day based on Fiscal Period

If I do not have Calendar Day time dimension available for reporting is it possible to define a customer exit variable for a specific day. The days are the first and last day of the financial year?
Example
User Input for Fiscal Period: 2009004
The exit is to define a value for 01.01.2009 and 31.12.2008 (end of last year)

yes it is possible. Procedure:
- add a new column in the report structure
- hide this column
- create a new text variable in this column (for customer exit)
- now you can fill this variable during query execution based on 0FISCPER
You don't want to filter by this variable. Right?

Hello John,
I assume that user will entry the key date as on which the count has to be shown. This date variable cannot be based on a characteristic. It has to be a formula variable of date type, ready for input.
Now, Create 2 more formula variables replacement path type for start date and end date.(we need these in calculation)
Now create a formula(local CKF) and write:
(key_date > stat_date && key_date < end_date )* count
This will show the count of employees who joined after start date and who have not left till the key date entered by user.
Count is the count of unique employee ids. It can be made as a formula in front end or a counter at the back end.

how can I set a routing rule for a specific file type, for example for "pdf" or for "docx", for my content organizer?
As standard I can only choose for the rules the content type, name and title of the file uploaded.

For that can I use MV45AFZZ. But it is asking access key to make changes. Is there any other user exit for the same. And how does exactly change it.

EXIT_SAPFV45E_001 has nothing to do with this - it is meant to update the purchase order from a sales order. It might not even be triggered if the sales order has no link to a purchase order.
USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT is not really good for this either, because the delivery date has to be changed before that. If memory serves, it also influences the schedule lines and probably the ATP check and such. I would strongly advise against it. One of the other routines in MV45AFZZ should do just fine, USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK for example.

You can right click on your Desktop and select New Folder. In Finder File > New Folder should work too, not in front of my Mac.

use an "UserExit" as described here:Customer Exits in SAP EHS MANAGEMENT (Exit: C1020001 EHS: Menu exit 1 of substance management/C1020002 EHS: Menu exit 2 of substance management) and establish first an user interface. Don't create e.g. own transaction etc. Use the realy nice enhancement options using these "Exits".
In the background you can use function modules e.g.. as mentioned here: WWI for Experts

How to create two respone for one request

Hi
is there any way for us to create two response for one request
the scenario is as below
1. user click on update button for particular record in the datatable (
after its get updated and status get updated = 'UPDATED' it will remove the object from ObjectListDataProvider and clear the tablePhaseListener ).
2. After it gets updated successfuly , i want to prompt the user with generateExcel function which using response.getOutputStream() using Apache POI.
How can we combine 1 and 2 together
Here what i have tried and didnt work
1. i tried to put the generateExcel function in destroy() method after page is rendered but it gives me Exception
2. i tried to put the generateExcel function in prerender() method
but the page will only execute the generateExcel function
- the data still get updated to the database but it doesnt refresh the page ( i meant the removing object and tablephaseListener.clear() doesnt work )
3 . i tried to put generateExcel Function after it process the data
public String updateData()
       //update data
       if(success){
            // prompt user to save excell sheet
        return null;
     }This one also doesnt work and gives the same behaviour as number 2
The Prompt to save excel sheet still gets popped up
but the page just doesnt get refreshed

I created two filters for one cube (in 11v), I assigned this filters to one user in shared services , so which filter work,
I think ,We have to assign only one filter for one user , please i need clarification....

You can create many filters for one cube. I usually associate one group per filter and a user can have one or more groups assigned to them. Can't remember what happens when a user has access to conflicting filters (i.e. the order of preference). It is in the DBAG I am sure though.

Combining Skype Subscription for one specific coun...

I have purchased a subscription for one specific country which I call the most. For other countries, I simply purchased some Skype credit.
How can I make sure that my credit will not run out when I am calling that specific country that I have the subscroption for?

First of all thanks for your reply and also you mentioned something PSTN/Cellular network etc etc how the Skype is working. But look here my problem is why this is happening, the subscription name itself India calling then Skype should be able to tieup or catch up with the local Indian carrier, isn't it? How do I know that the local carrier is supporting or not? I need a solution not the reason, yeah it is good to know the reason but what I will do with the reason here; it is beyond my doing. If this is the genuince reason for the failure then Skype is making false statement and fooling around the customers saying you can call Indian Mobile and land lines by this subscription, which is clearly not happening.
Please let me know if there is anything can be done on this issue, yours time and effort is appreciately greatly.

WRT110: I want to create an access rule for one client for one application during one time period

I have a problem with one of the clients on my LAN which is running uTorrent to detriment of everyone else. It saturates the pipe. I have been unable to prod this user into bothering to tweak their settings to throttle bandwidth back and so have resorted to an access rule on the router which kicks that MAC address off during a particular time period during the day. But as irritated as I am about this slacker sense of outrageous entitlement, kicking them off entirely seems a tad heavy handed even for me.
So, In the router I can create a rule per MAC address and specify time. But is it possible to limit this to denying uTorrent ONLY? And if so what port or port ranges would I use.
Alternatively I already use a QoS setting for one of my VoIP TA's. Would I gain anything by degrading the application indirectly by creating a QoS = LOW for that port range? Again, I don't really care about any other application, just uTorrent and just that client. How much degradation is there really in setting QoS to LOW?

Well it wont make much difference, when you enable QOS service on your router. Yes it is possible to Deny uTorrent application from your Router. When you are Under "Application and Gaming" Tab, Under "Blocked Application" you will find "Application Name" , "Port Range" and "Protocol" so you need to input under Application Name "uTorrent" and under port range you need to input the port number which uTorrent application use and then under protocol select "Both" and click on ADD. Then again in Application you will find uTorrent , select and click on (>>) right arrow so it will block that application on your Router. By doing this it will block uTorrent from your Router.

Crawl Rule for Crawling Specific Page across all the site collection under one content source

I have a MOSS 2007 web Application added to SharePoint 2010 Search Service Application Content Source, which is having 50+ Site Collections which follows same template. Every Site collection having one CustomPages Library and CustomPage.aspx.
If search Service would like to crawl only CustomPage.aspx from all the site collection under the web application, what would be the Path or Regular expression while creating the Crawl Rule.
i have given the path as http://webapplication/sites/*/CustomPages/CustomPage.aspx, but this is not working. Can anyone help me out with correct path or regular expression in this case.

To crawl that page you'd also need to crawl the pages beneath it, otherwise SharePoint will never get to the page to check if it matches a rule. I assume you have some other rules that are blocking the rest of the content of the site?
Try adding another rule that allows http://webapplication/sites/* then have your include rule beneath that and another exclude rule for
http://webapplication/sites/*/* beneath that. That should eliminate nearly all the other content and provide you with your custompage.aspx results.
