Okay so here is a short video tutorial i've made to make a sillhouette from an image in less than 5 seconds. Well there are various other short methods, but they arent applicable for all images.

2 Create bindings in 1 page, second Create event does not fire (ADF)

I have an ADF, Struts, JSP master detail page and within that page there is a Create binding on the master view and this works fine.
I added the detail list to the page and added a Create binding for this view underneath the list.
The second create event does not seem to fire at all, when the button is clicked the page gets submitted and the request forwards to the correct page to display the input form but the contents of this form is the current selected detail row in the view and not a new row.
I have created 2 new pages to test the detail view... I put a link in the original page to a test list page that displays the detail list and included a Create binding in this page which links to a test create page and this works fine.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Can there be only 1 Create event binding in a single page?
Is there a way round this other than having to have my detail page on a seperate page?

Can you do something like this?
1. Look at the uimodel for your page and find the Create that is the action binding for the detail. Name it something like: CreateDetail
2. Change the button on the page to create a detail to be named: event_CreateDetail.
3. Change the forward from Master/Detail browser page to: CreateDetail
Can you provide more details on:
1. What are the names of the create bindings for master, then detail?
2. What is the name of the forwards, that is the struts-config.xml action definition for this page?

Extending vs creating a wireless network on second Time Capsule

I have two TCs in different rooms connected via Ethernet.
When the second one was plugged in it did some form of auto setup that didn't work. So walking through the setupon the second TC, I've ended up with both TCs creating a wireless network with the same name.
Should I switch the second one to extend a wireless network instead of create? Or can I just leave as is? Or will leaving it as is create problems at a later date?

Actually if both TC are connected by ethernet you have the best possible setup.. and both should create a wireless network..
Just read the Apple doco on roaming network for the setup.. but it is pretty much as per what you have done.

The one thing different I would do.. which does depend on spacing.. ie how much signal you get from TC1 at TC2, is auto wireless channels can choose adjacent channels which is wrong.. these still overlap and interfere with each other.. so for roaming network I always recommend fixed wireless channels.. pick out of 1, 6, 11 two different ones.. these are the only channels that do not overlap at 2.4ghz.
5ghz is not as much of an issue.. unless you have brand new AC version TC. Due to its limited range, unless the two devices sit next to each other they are unlikely to have issues.. nevertheless picking different channels is not hard.. and reduces wireless voodoo. (All wireless contains voodoo.. it works or doesn't work according to something other than science. Chanting with beads and rattles.. and offering chicken livers to the gods of ether).

Created startup disc on a second ssd, which files do i delete off the original hd?

I did this little project back in April and kept the original startup files in case something went wrong. Everything is working fine and I want to trim storage space off the HD. Simply put I can't remember what files to delete.

To add an iMovie HD project, first save your project and quit iMovie.
Then add the saved iMovie project file into the Content Area. You can

and drag them in to the Content Area.
Each group of photos you add into the Content Area appears as a
slideshow. Each slideshow will have a button in the disc menu that you
can choose to play the slideshow. You can duplicate, rearrange, remove

How do I create a recurring event for the second Monday of every month?

I want to create a recurring event. It's an event that occurs the second and fourth monday of every month. I'd be happy to split this into two events if need be. The Custom repeat setting allows me to make the event occur every two Mondays. But some months have 5 weeks, so I need exactly, the second monday of every month.
(It's a bit annoying that things like this are so hard to do on iCal when MS Outlook does them so easily!!!)

You can do this using the custom repeat in iCal. You'll need two events to cover the second and fourth Mondays.
Create the event on the second Monday of the month. In Repeat select Custom... > Frequency: Monthly > On the: second Monday.
Do the same for the Fourth Monday.

Creating record on second main table during import

Hello all,
I am importing data to a main table (materials), and I have a second main table linked to the materials main table to store supporting data. Assuming I have a new record being imported that contains an entity that doesn't exist in that second main table, is it possible to create a record inside the second main table? This functionality exists for lookup tables, if the lookup record doesn't exist you can configure the map to create the record in the lookup table. Can the same thing be accomplished with multiple main tables? I'm having trouble with this because I can't get any field aside from the primary key on the second main table to show up in the destination fields in the import manager.

This scenario is quite possible.
I have a Work Around and it should work according to me...
See, In this case you have to create two maps, one for Main table (Primary) Import and another for Second Main table(Secondary).
Before Importing Main table(Import) this file should be Imported to Second Main table import(Secondary) by putting that file to ready inbound port of Second Main table.
So, Records entities that do not exist in secondary main table will get created and for existing records will get updated.
Now when the same Source file import for Main table, that record entity would be already there in Secondary main table and as such you would not face any issue while importing through main table.

I published my site - created a second one - can't amend the 1st one now!

I created a website using iWeb. I used "Publish to folder".
I uploaded this to my ftp - site works great.
I created a new site, deleting the pages of the first. I used "Publish to folder".

Now, iWeb is incapable of editing my first site! Imagine selling something to people that only works one way?
Why include "Publish to Folder" if you won't "Import from folder".
Very frustrating!

You didn't need to delete the first site to create and work on a second site. You can have multiple sites in one domain file as shown in the screenshot below. Notice the two sites Demo_1 and Demo_2 in the left hand pane.

GarageBand 10.0 Only creates 20 second ringtones, even though the help says 40 seconds

I just upgraded my iMac 3.06 to Mavericks, and downloaded the 10.0 GarageBand. Before a hard drive failure I had the version of iLife that came with my iMac with that version of GarageBand - lost the install disc, etc etc.
I used to create and still have 30-40 second long iPhone ringtones from that version. This recent version of GarageBand allows me to supposedly create up to a 40 second ringtone just like before. I create a 29 second segment and click Export to Ringtone. It pops up the warning about the index needing to be 40 seconds or less, since have a 29 second segment I let it adjust it and it chops off past 20 seconds, and inserts silence for the last couple seconds of the resulting ringtone resulting in about an 18-1/2 second ringtone.
It shouldn't matter what version of iOS or iPhone I have should it? I have an iPhone 5 and iOS 7.0.3

Create UserFields second time

Hi SBO-Forum,
I wrote code to create user defined table and fields - that works fine first time (DI API, version 2004A, C#).
I don't wrote code to remove this tables/fields automatically ... I made it manually.
I cleared my entries from tables OUTB, CUFD.
Running the code second time, to create the user defined tables and fields again, will occur the followng message (err code = -1):
"[CUFD] ,
'[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
Invalid object name 'Cannot add Field'.'"
Are there any other tables to clean, so that I'm able to create table/fields for a second time?

Now I restored my database and didn't changed anything manually.
If I'm running the sample 'MasterDataUDO.vb' ... everything is ok, also at second time.
But I can't run my own code creating table/fields ... also not at first time! (So the Subject of this post is wrong!).
Adding of fields will fail with the message:
"Invalid object name 'Cannot add Field'.'"

PSE9: Second 'My Pictures' gets created during Restore process

I'm running PSE9 on Win7.
I've been doing some Restore Catalogs to move my PSE from an old pc to this new one.
My old pc was Win XP.
I've noticed that the Restore process creates what looks like a second 'My Pictures' folder
in my folder structure. Inside this My Pictures there is an Adobe folder which has an Other Pictures folder.
All of these folders are empty.
All of my images go into a second 'My Pictures' folder. I'm puzzled why I'm getting this extra
My Pictures folder. I thought it might have something to do with Homegroup. The icon for the folder
looks a little different than the other folder. Anyway, I believe I have disabled the Homegroup feature.

OK.
It looks like it is something that comes with the Library support in Win7.
'My Pictures' seems to be a label. The actual directory node comes out
as 'Pictures'.
I removed the 'Public' directory from the Library for Pictures.
And customized the look of Windows Explorer so that I see what I want
to see now.

Creating job

Hi Experts,
I am about to create a batch job. I used FM JOB_OPEN, JOB_SUBMIT and JOB_CLOSE. However, whenever I run the program it creates job for every 1 second. It will not stop creating jobs unless you completely exited in the program. The code is not inside the loop.

How to create messages for Validation in transaction type OB28

I am creating a validation in transaction type ob28. I have created the first point "prerequisite", second point "Check" and in the third point "Message" I want to put the message number 016 but the next error appears "Entry E ZFI 160 does not exist in T100". How can I create this messages number?

This message applies to a problem with change requests. When creating a message, it's a workbench request that system has to create. Apparently, when you try to create a message, it tries to catch 'tramp' on existing CR which is assigned to a different client in your system. You should try assigning a new CR for this change; you could ask your BASIS team to help you on this.

Best way to create pop-up menu's

Hi All,
I have been having a heck of a time doing something that i
would have assumed to be relatively simple - specifically creating
a pup-up menu.
My first set of approach was to dynamically create a movie
clip on a button rollover, and within that movieclip create several
other movie clips that i then assigned actions too. The problem was
that since i applied a action on "rollout" on the initial movie
clip, it became a button, and as such all of the sub
movieclips/buttons became in active (any click was only detected on
the parent).
My second set of attempts have been around the MenuComponent
(see other posts), but here too i have hit problems, initially with
animation and depth. I solved the animation issue, but the depth
problem remains.
Now, i see pop-up menu's everywhere, so i assume that this is
a relatively simple problem - so what am i missing. A google search
showed up lots of examples of how to do using menu that are created
in the UI (rather than purely in AS), using purchased components.
The first case is not an option since i need to create it fully
dynamically, the second would be an option - however i typically
need a far greater level of visual control than off the shelf
components provide (hence i have needed to build up my own class
library for many common tasks).
So after all that, i have a simple question.
"What is the best way to create a dynamic popup menu in
AS2?"

I guess you want to make your own popup menu, if I understand
correctly. Nothing simpler, your first attempt was in the right
direction, you just don't assign button actions to the parent clip,
because you won't get the child clips to work, but add another
child at the lowest level inside the parent, that acts as a
"background" clip/button.
And for the rollout for the entire popup, you can add a
transparent clip just under the popup (which is at the currently
topmost depth) covering the entire stage, give it rollover that
acts as your rollout, and make it not use the hand currsor, so you
can't tell it's there.
That's how I do it, anyways..
