Create a username that has the same privileges as the root
i want create a username on solaris that has the same privileges as the root account except that it can not change the root password.
how can do this
I can select a mix of multiple item types in a form (while using the FormsCentral application), and then perform a copy and paste. All of the selected items (form fields, text boxes, horizontal lines, etc.) paste just fine. I use the keyboard command to perform the copy and paste operations.
When selecting a range of items, I select the first item and then hold down the Shift key while selecting the last item, and all items in between are also selected.

Hi,
You have the choice between xml or pdf, in later versions of designer you can choose with a dropdown on the email button Object palette, the "Submit As";
In earlier version you had to edit the XML Source and change the format from xml to pdf (or vice-versa);

In Final Cut Pro I was trying to move an Event Library from one hard drive to another as explained in the Help section. After doing so, I received a message that my event is already open with the same identifier as the new one I just created on the new disk. It says the second document cannot be opened and to move one of these documents out of your Final Cut Events folder. It also says to avoid this problem, copy events from within Final Cut Pro, but that is what I did in the first place. What should I do to avoid the double opening conflict?
What exactly are you doing and what version are you using with OS X 10.8?

I reply to an email on my iPad. When I view the same email on the PC in MS outlook there is no indication that I have replied to it.
Is there an email app that I can use?
Has anyone found a solution for this?This seems to be an annoying part of the newer OS. When I first got my Pearl in 2008, I didn't have that occur. However once the OS got upgraded, and now with the Tour, it seems like that is the way it works. Not clear to me why they would have thought this is preferable.

How can I create additional or sub "Sent Mail" folders so that I can organize my sent mail along the same lines as the inbox? I use Mail v 4.5.
Thank you for your reply Don, but I had already gone through that procedure and it will only create new mailboxes for received mail. I want to create new mailboxes for sent mail, i.e. the first column being "to" not "from". Under the Mailbox menus there is an option "Use This Mailbox For" but all the options under that (including Sent) are greyed out. Unfortunately the View/Columns option to change from "From" to "To" changes all mailboxes not just the active one.

How to sincronize with itunes an 3G iphone that has the same name as the new 4S
I've just boght a new 4s iphone to substitute my old 3G so when asked by itunes I didn't change the name of the new iphone. Now I have two I phones with the same name and the old one is not able to sinchronize with I tunes any more. It's not even able to restore it self so I could change its name to use it under a different Iphone, does any one have any idea of what can I do to reutlize it,. León NikIt's easy to rename each unit. When you connect your iPad and it syncs, the unit will appear on the left of the iTUnes screens just click on the unit there and you can rename it. You should do this immediately so you can see which unit was backed up by it's name. You can sync as many decices as you want in one iTunes library and you can even share Apps as long as you're going to sync both from teh same iTunes account. My household has 2 iPad 2s and we share our apps, and we also share downloaded books, magazines, music, etc.......

Why cant I create a playlist for my music/song videos? Continuous play is also not possible in the video app on the phone!!!! previously, prior to IOS 6, it was possible to have both music videos & songs mixed in the same playlist in the music app
I am back with an update. I turned off Match on both the ipad and the iphone 5. By doing so I was able to sync my Iphone and ipad to itunes and store the music on my devices rather than the slow streaming. So far this has fixed my problems with the iphone I have all my music, playlist, most of the album art and so on. But the ipad is a different story. I have the music and artist but not one playlist I am sure Apple will have an upgrade soon that will address these issues they are usually very good about this.
Now have any of you experienced another problem that has existed as long as I have used faces in Aperture.
I have over 200 faces and they are organized a-z problem is I have this going on A-Z folowed by a few that start over A-Z followed by another few A-Z and again a 4th time A-Z. Imagine how difficult it is while I am showing someone the great features of my iphone, ipad and imac. Which I do talk highly of all the time. But how do I explain that even though their name starts with a or b or what ever they are not important enough to me to be in the first list of A-Z or even the 2nd or 3rd list of A-Z someohow they are in the 4th section of the list!!!!
I have managed to get the Imac to fix this but for some reason the IOS devices do not. Any ideas?

I am in the middle of a job using CS 6, but at the same time opening the Creative Suite apps. I created an InDesign file in CS 6, saved it, and now I can't open it. I'm getting this message: Cannot open file because it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign CC (10.1). You must use that version or later to open the file." AARRGGHH! So how do I access the file?
Sounds like you opened and saved it in CC, so now you need to go back to CC and either complete the project there, or export to IDML to take it back into CS6.

Well, I really would love the new unreleased mac pro however , I'm not sure of the expected cost , Everyone speculates from $3,000 to $8,000, in which I may have to wait a while to purchase.
To the point .... I want fully functional thunderbolt ports to be on the current mac pro's .... wonder if anyone had workarounds yet?... or could I chain the the current mac pro to a mac mini to make that happen? -
I have an app called Astrogold that crashes when I run one function, but no one else I know with the same app experiences the crash. The app writes several different reports, and gives the option of sending them as PDF files. All the other reports generate fine, but one of them....and that one crashes the app while it is trying to generate the report.
Note: it only crashes the display. If I double click the home button I see the app itself is still running.
I checked my Diagnostics & Usage data, and noticed that every time the app crashes a LowMemory report is created. I looked at the LowMemory report and see that the Largest process is Astrogold. But I don't see any reports with the name of the app itself.
I have an iPhone 5c, and according to iTunes I have 2.25 GB Free.

My setup: iMac hardline to Canon i960 printer. Issue: endless printing of the same document. The printer window states that the pinter is in use and there is nothing listed in the Print Queue. How can I stop printing the document?
Soution: Delete the printer and add the same printer back in, therefore creating a new print queue.

Has anyone found a lightning to 30 pin adapter where the lightning end is the same size as the cable that comes with the phone? I know there have been some non-apple versions, but I can't tell if they are the same as the Apple versions where the lightnin end is slightly bigger than the cabe that ships with the phone. Most iPhone bumpers only accomodate the original charing cabe ad the adapter cable is just slighter bigger and doesnt fit. Also, i'm not referring to the square, cable-less adapter.
Depending on your caes I shaped mine carefully with a craft knife seems all the case manufacturers designed the cases for lightning cables but seemed blind to the adapter and it's likely use

If you simply want to send the exact same message to everyone in your address book with emails ending in "@whatever.com", you can do the following:
Create an email with subject, message and attachments but no addresses
Open Address Book, All Contacts
Search in Address Book for @whatever.com
Select the results and drag them into the To: or Bcc: field of the email. If Bcc: then put your email address in the To: field.
Send the email
This will not personalize the emails (such as with "Dear firstname:" at the top of the message) but it will let you send an idential message to everyone who meets your criteria. -

I checked the user id and the organization id, and there are both correct (in the database). The user id "fb56b107-949f-df11-a1b0-00237df0351e " is actually the internal CRM System User.
What could the issue be?
Can anyone help, please. ThanksAre you sure, the User which you are assigning is in the same organisaion. It seems that the Orgname which you are specifying is not correct. and the web service is pointing to other user which is not the current ms crm organisaion.
