Create a web photo gallery

I use the older plug-in as the newer ones are more limited and non-customizable outside of Bridge.
In the older ones, you can links to other pages of your web site while the newer one can't. It works to some degree though I am using 64 bit CS4.
but there is a problem, that I an apparently no one else can understand. One link from one of my modified galleries will link to a family of related species photographed, in this case moths. Every time I create a new page of something else, EG. wasps, I have to go in to the source code of that page and replace the moth link with wasp. I have had to do this with hundreds of pages. It seems that I should just have to do it once in the gallery teplate index, as I used to in CS3. But in an HTML editor, when I go to the moth folder (originally a copy of the white on black style) and change the name to wasps, and then change the link from moth to wasp, it will show in Bridge as a template choice but when I run it, the old moth link is still there.

How do I create a web photo gallery in Photoshop CC?

In previous versions of Photoshop I go to "file", "automate", and create a web photo gallery. That option is not available in Photoshop CC. Tutorials online teach how to create this through Bridge but I can't seem to find it there either. Please help!

Create a web photo gallery, in PSE8????

In a old version of elements, like verssion 2, you could create a web photo gallery. You can also do this in Photshop.
I just purchased PSE8 and I cannot find it in there. Since this the bulk of my work, uploading photo galleries to car websites I look after, this could be a real problem for me.
Is it in there & I'm just looking in the wrong palce or is there a plug inn I can get/purchase?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I still have PSE2 so it's no drama.
It just defeats the purpose of me upgrading from that point of view.
Like Eric says I too do not want the "flash-based web pages " as nice as they are.
I cant see why they couldn't have left in the html gallery feature in as well as having the flash. I see it all the time. Packages move forward at the expense of other features being removed.
I got the new package PSE8 and PRE8 as they could supposedly talk to each other. Now I find I'm still having to use an older and much simpler application to get the job done.
I also run two screens and when I move one of these new applications to the second larger screen it spits the dummy.
Me thinks I'll just stick with my old proven products that never fail or hang. Every time I try to move with the times something like this happens.
I fear application/software creators/designers of the day have lost the plot.

You haven't provided any sensible, meaningful and detailed information about your setup.
If you gave some sensible, complete and detailed information, someone may be able to help you, such as your platform (Mac or Win), exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop and of Bridge, machine specs, what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, etc.
There are no clairvoyants or mind readers here.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12: Create Web Photo Gallery

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12: I need to create a Web Photo Gallery so I can upload thumbnails and full-size pictures to my own website. Does anyone have an idea? No Facebook, Flickr, Adobe Revel etc.

Can't create web photo gallery with modified RAW files

I can use CS-2 to create a web photo gallery using unmodified RAW files, this seems to work fine.
However, after I tweak the exposure of a RAW file and a .xmp file has been created, if I try to create a web photo gallery, the program goes through the motions but no thumbnails or (bigger) jpg files are created. The resulting web photo gallery pages are just filled with broken link icons.

I believe it may be to do with the sidecar files. My girlfriend has similar issues on Windows XP.
I have tried to recreate the problem here (on Mac OSX) but it all works fine for me, so i can't fully test it, but here is what i believe may be happening....
The sidecar file has the same name as the actual raw file (except the extension of course), so when the web gallery script is processing it, it does the raw file, then overwrites by trying to process the xmp file as an image, but of course it can't and then you end up with no image file in your thumbnail, or image directories in the web gallery for that image.
Two options you can try...
1) go into bridge and select the images to process in there (xmp files shouldn't show up there) and then use the Tools/Photoshop menu to access the WGB and choose 'Selected Bridge Images' as the source. (this has been tested successfully on win xp)
2) in the camera raw plugin, go into preferences and change the 'sidecar xmp' option to 'camera raw database'. You will then probably need to delete any sidecar files for the folder you wish to process and reapply your raw adjustments. If the problem is what i suspect (as above) this should also work, though i haven't been able to test.
Obviously you don't need to worry about the 'down rezzing' mentioned above as the web gallery builder should already be doing this for you...unless you changed it.

Problem Uploading Web Photo Gallery in DW

I'm a newbie at this, so please bare with me. I've been at this same problem for 3 days & I'm finally breaking down & asking for help. I want to be as helpful as possible here, so I'm just going to give as much info as I can, so I'm sorry in advance if some of it doesn't matter.
I created my web photo gallery through PS & am putting them into DW with the iFrame. My connection works just fine when I preview it, as I can jump from page to page, seeing all of my galleries. I'm been able to put my pages up, but the galleries do not come up. I keep getting the error 404 message up in all of my frames.
I have all of my galleries in one file, with each specific gallery in a sub-folder with all of the attachment files.
I've tried every combination I can think of when it comes to my local root folder and default images folder to see if I just had the wrong folder selected. I'm more so thinking it would have to be the DIF if it were anything like this, because the LRF has to be the main folder. I've tried to C&P the gallery file in several different folders, use it as my DIF, put it, & see if it works, & it doesn't. I tried to upload the galleries themselves through my web server (host monster) and also cyberduck.
I've read everything I could find, & I read that I needed to link up the index.html to the page I'm building. But I assumed I already did that, other wise I wouldn't be able to preview it right? If I still need to do this, where should I go into specifically to do this?
I also read I should link up the files from the navigation system in DW. Where would I go about doing this?
As you can see, I'm pretty lost.

That page is not on the server - did you upload it? By the way, it's not a good idea to use spaces in your file/pathnames for the web.
The page is just not where you have told the browser to look for it here -

Problem viewing Web Photo Gallery in IE6

I created a Web Photo Gallery in CS3 and uploaded it to my website via Dreamweaver. It will not display in IE6, but it will in Firefox.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or know of a reason why this would happen?

Can't answer the question without looking at the code. Being you have DW, I would parse the code there and you will get more help in the Dreamweaver forum.

Modifying web photo gallery templates

Hi all! I created a web photo gallery in Photoshop. I want to modify the template so that I can make the gallery look more in line with the rest of the site I'm designing. I see in the Help Center that I need to modify the "tokens" in the html, but I'm at a loss as to how to do this. Is there a site online somewhere that can explain this to me better? Thank you so much!

How to upload photoshop Web photo Gallery to iWeb 1.1.2

I have a great iWeb Photography site and it's linked to the web through my domain name only- just thru Forwarding. I want to use the Photoshop CS2Web Gallery feature and have created a sample folder. How do I link it to open in my website?
So far, I created the box, chose to hyperlink it to an external page and typed in page name that the Web Photo Gallery gave it and then I go thru the website- it goes to the gallery home page, but shows no photos, just the little question mark boxes. I'm pretty non-technical about this. Any help is great. I can't find the answers through Adobe help. I thought this was going to be easier...

Web Photo Gallery in PS CS4

They are recomending that you use Bridge for web galleries, but I have always liked the way PS did them.
There is a plug in called "Web Photo Gallery" included with the programme that allows you to use the old method, which I have put it in the plug in folder as instructed. However I get a message that there is no template for a web photo gallery when I try to go Automate-web gallery.
Can anyone point me as to what I am doing wrong or not doing.

You have to load the templates for the old method too! CS4 doesn't use them.

Web Photo Gallery - Feedback form not emailing?

I'm using CS2 PShop and have created a web photo gallery using the Centred Frame 2 style and have entered my email address etc correctly. The gallery displays fine and on my mac I can approve and add descriptions, save and email the saved data - it asks for a name and on clicking OK launches Entourage 2004l and pours the data into a new email message body correctly.
The problem is I want someone in Italy to review the gallery and get his feedback. When he approves/adds descriptions/saves and clicks the 'email feedback' button, he IS prompted for a name, but on enetering name and clicking OK, nothing happens and his mail client is not launched. He is on a windows PC using IE 6. What is going wrong? Is this a browser issue.
Help required asap.

Web Photo Gallery using PSE10?

In previous versions of Elements, I was able to create a web photo gallery which created thumbnails and web pages, and the folders within those files were contained...... how do I do that in Elements 10?

In recent versions of PSE the old HTML web galleries have been replaced by the online albums in the organizer. You can export the completed album to your hard drive and then FTP it to your website.
