  • How to create Inbound Idoc from XML file-Need help urgently

    Hi,
    can any one tell how to create inbound Idoc from XML file.
    we have xml file in application server Ex. /usr/INT/SMS/PAYTEXT.xml'  we want to generate inbound idoc from this file.we are successfully able to generate outbound XML file from outbound Idoc by using the XML port. But not able to generate idoc from XML file by using we19 or we16.
    Please let me know the process to trigger inbound Idoc with out using  XI and any other components.
    Thanks in advance
    Dora Reddy

    Hi .. Did either of you get a result on this?
    My question is the same really .. I am testing with WE19 and it seems SAP cannot accept an XML inbound file as standard.
    I see lots of mention of using a Function Module.
    Am I correct in saying therefore that ABAP development is required to create a program to run the FM and process the idoc?
    Or is there something tht can be done with Standard SAP?
    Thanks

  • DTW using .txt file adds quotation marks around BP Name

    I am importing new Business Partners using .txt file because of comma's in BP names.  When I import the BP names, quotation marks are added.  How do I get rid of the quotation marks?

    Gordon, thanks for the suggestion, it is helpful.  However, in this case, there were no quotation marks in the Legacy System, and when I imported using .csv files, I had no problems.
    When I switched to .txt, DTW added them somehow.

  • Creating Map IDs using HTM File Name

    Is it possible to create Map IDs using the File name of the HTM, instead of its Topic Title?

    While Generating Map IDs, we get an ID along with a Map # for each HTM in the CSH.
    For Example, I have a HTM in my CSH with the following Details:
    Topic Title - Access Masks
    File Name - admpr00001.htm
    Now when I create a Map ID for this page. I can customise the Map ID by setting any/all of the three options: - 'Prefix Map IDs with', 'Make Uppercase' and 'Start Numbering with'. But the Map ID is generated only based on the Topic Title.
    Like - ebACCESS_MASKS 1000   where, eb is the set prefix.
    Is it possible for me to create a MAP ID using the File Name. In this case, as ebadmpr00001 1000?
    Hope I am clear .

  • How to use txt files in jar file

    Hi all
    I just made a program that uses a text file, but I havent managed to work it correctly, program runs without jar correctly, but when I packaged all files into a jar, it couldnt find txt file, so I can only run it when I create another text file outside of jar.
    How can I solve this??

    I used this:
    Scanner fileScan = new Scanner (new file
    ("Words.txt"));
    but when I make a jar file, it doesnt find the txt
    file inside a jar,
    do I need to specify path or something?I have already told you that you shouldn't use new File(..) you should use getResourceAsStream(String name) to get an InputStream to the file.

  • Unable to create sample schema using response file

    Installed oracle 11g r1 on Linux server using response file (silent mode). I wanted to install the sample schema for testing so I updated the sample_schemas section in $ORACLE_HOME/assistants/dbca/templates/dbcreate.dbc
    <option name="SAMPLE_SCHEMA" value="true">
    <tablespace id="USERS"/>
    </option>
    After the installation I noticed sample schemas HR, SH were not created.
    -     Do we have to manually create the sample schemas by running the individual scripts?
    -     Also could not find the master script mksample.sql in the $ORACLE_HOME/demo/schema directory.
    Please let me know if I am missing any parameter in dbcreate.dbc.
    Thank you,

    Thank you,You can't install manually the sample schemas since they come in a "pluggable tablespace" Examples which is automatically appended to your database by DBCA. If you would miss choosing the option for the same, you would need to get them created through the Examples Media CD and follow the instructions given here.

  • Acrobat Reader 9.5.1-1, Linux, 32-bit is creating "C:\nppdf32Log\debuglog.txt" files in $HOME

    Acrobat Reader 9.5.1-1, Linux, 32-bit is creating a file named: "C:\nppdf32Log\debuglog.txt"
    in the users home directory whenever a PDF document is opened from within a browser.
    Browser is configured to use Reader plugin "nppdf.so"
    Is there anyway to turn this off?
    We are using:
    SLES11 (SuSE Linux Enterprise Server v11.1); 32bit version.
    Firefox v10.0.0.4esr
    Adobe Reader v 9.5.1-1

    Here are few solutions:
    1. You can configure firefox to open pdf in external application like acroread. This way plugin problem is bypassed. - I use it this way. It looks to be faster this way.
    2. "C:\nppdf32Log\debuglog.txt" is created every time in directory from where you executed firefox/opera/other browser and opened any pdf file in browser. So this is not only home directory. You can fix this problem by yourself by hex editing nppdf.so file and replacing C:\nppdf32Log\debuglog.txt path in this file with /dev/null path. See my post here for detailed instructions: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1253800

  • Creating JCo IDoc from flat file structure

    Hi,
    I need to send an IDoc into SAP using JCo.
    The input to my program is a string containing lines representing a flat file idoc, e.g.
    Line 1="EDI_DC40                           2   ORDERS04.."
    Line 2="E1EDK01                                          00000100000001    USD..."
    Line 3="E1EDK14                                          0000030000000...."
    Is there a simple way to use JCo to create & send the IDoc?
    i.e.
    1) If I use JCo and RFC IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS, what would be all the steps/calls to SAP (create TID, call IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS, confirm TID..?)
    And can IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS be called using the flat file structures (without having to map to all the JCo ParameterList fields)?  Since the flat file structures are  in the format required by the RFC, just in one long string.
    Line 1=>IDOC_CONTROL_REC_40
    Lines 2..n=>IDOC_DATA_REC_40
    2) Similarly, if I were to use JCo plus the JCO IDoc library, is there a way to pass the flat file structures without having to do all the mapping to segment fields?
    3) Other options..?
    I want to use ALE to SAP, not files, even though the input is in the flat file structure.

    Your reply gives a link to the general JCo documentation.
    It doesn't give ideas on how to call an RFC or IDoc from JCO without mapping each and every field from a flat file structure.
    I'm looking for a way to do something like this:
    Function IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS has table parameters
          IDOC_CONTROL_REC_40 STRUCTURE  EDI_DC40
          IDOC_DATA_REC_40 STRUCTURE  EDI_DD40
    Since I have the flat file representation of the IDoc, the first line should overlay exactly onto the EDI_DC40 structure.  And the subsequent lines should overlay onto EDI_DD40.  (all fields in this RFC are strings)
    However JCO and JCO IDoc library seem very strongly typed, so it looks like I would have to map each field from the flat file structure to a field in the JCO Function or JCO IDoc object.
    This could be done in a generic way using the function/idoc metadata, however there would still be some overhead.
    Is there a way to get round this, and build the function/idoc treating its parameters as one long string?

  • Idoc to txt file to mail

    Hello everyone,
    I have the following scenario:
    IDOC -> XI -> Mail w/ .txt attach with fields of IDOC separated by ';'
    How can i "concatenate" all fields into one text file and then send this in an attachment via email ?
                       Thank you in advance,

    Hi Nuno
    What you can do here is
    1. parse IDOC XML into a flat file using UDF or Java mapping and pass it to a string. use the mail package and map this string field to Content field of mail package. Now at mail adapter use Mail package with attachment.
    2. You write a mail adapter module to parse the file and attach it to mail.
    3. Use the StrictXMLtoPlain Bean at receiver mail adapter to parse IDOC XML into a flat file and then use MessageTransformBean to attach it to the mail
    Using Mail package usage will allow dynamic mail message.
    Thanks

  • Creating a report using ttx file format

    <font size="2"><p>Hello All </p><p>I have downloaded the professional version of the Crystal Reports for Eclipse. I wanted to know if a report template can be created using a ttx file format and passing recordsets at run time to the reports. If an example can be provided it will be great. </p><p>I tried to look for the ttx file format in crystal but could not locate the same. Is it available with the professional edition..</p><p>Any help is highly appreciated.</p><p>thanks </p></font>

    Hi,
    In CR4E you can mimic the TTX design process using a Java class file and our POJO implementation. Essentially you can make an empty class with a number of publicly defined variables. For example if I created a new class as such:
    public classTTX_POJO {
    Â Â
    public int customer_id;
          <font color="#660000">public </font>String customer_name;
    Now, I can use this class to design a Crystal Report. In the report designer you will see a new table (in this cased called TTX_POJO) with 2 Fields (int and String). This will serve the same purpose as a TTX which is to get the meta-data into the report.
    Now at runtime, I can pass in a Resultset which returns the same meta-data, as in the following SQL query:
    *"SELECT CUSTOMER_ID,CUSTOMER_NAME FROM APP.CUSTOMER WHERE COUNTRY = 'Australia'" *
    Anyway, if you need more information on creating reports off of POJOs you can watch the following video tutorial:
