Create Attachments for Job in PP01 (Mass Upload)

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement to attach documents to jobs in PP01.
I need to do it through program since it is mass upload.
Could you please suggest me any FMs.
What will be the object type of Job.

SQL 2008 - Create failed for Job 'MaintenancePlan.subplan_1'

Hi,
I'm having difficulty with a server set up by a third party. I am unable to save any Maintenance Plans on the server. When I do this I get the error message Create failed for Job 'MaintenancePlan.subplan_1'.
The plan will run happily if I kick it off as a manual operation.
I have tried this from priviledged accounts including (after all else failed) the sa account.
Does anyone know the cause/solution to the bug?

Does the server have SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) installed? Some versions of SQL require SSIS to be installed for the maintenance plans to work. What service pack and cumulative update do you have?

Is PI recommended for intial Data-import / Mass-upload to MDM

we have a requirement as below:
there are around 500,000 records in a customer master in SAP R/3.
this data need to be imported into SAP MDM. (after this step, SAP R/3 will be removed/scrapped from the landscape)
after importing to MDM, the records need to be updated to SAP ECC.
so the requirement is something like:
SAP R/3 -
> MDM -
> ECC.
the R/3 to MDM import is one time, initial, activity, to be done for around 5 lac records.
to migrate these much data, is it recommed to use PI, for both inbound and outbound (w.r.t MDM) scenarios .

hi,
in general it's not recommended to use PI for mass uploads
but I guess in this case the only issue will be upload to SAP ECC
and not export from old R/3
so I guess you could use PI to export the data from R/3 to a file/files
and use those files in LSMW in ECC

In the SSHR from "Apply for Job" functionality cant upload docx CV

From employee self service responsibility when I use the functionality "Apply for job"
While trying to upload a docx file I am getting the below error message
Value application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document exceeds the maximum allowed value (VARCHAR (30, -127))
The doc files can be uploaded.

As my understanding, This would be not configurable using personlization. you need to OA Framework customization to have Message Choice for Job and Search Filteration.

Create attachement for GOS in background

Hi all, i have to create attachments for GOS in the background. i found a blog that suggested me to use the classess
CLASS CL_BINARY_RELATION definition load.
CLASS CL_OBL_OBJECT definition load.

Create Attachments - Authorization

Hi @ all
I have following example:
My colleague wants an authorization restriction for creating attachments, for example in equipment.
Two issues are important for him:
At first he wants that some employees can create via u201CCreateu2026 -> Create Attachmentu201D (Services for Objects), but some should not be able to create attachments. I have found the transaction SGOS, but there you only can set this option inactive for all users.
At second the deletion of these attachments should not be able in general. I have found the authorization object S_WFAR_OBJ for the ArchiveLink u2013 object which is already maintained. But I haven´t found anything for above mentioned objects.
Could anybody help me? Do you know which authorization objects are necessary?

I think you can take the abap'ers help in creating the program. But u need to provide them the exact functionality and the required specifications in creating the appraisal document.
Even tcode also u can get it prepared by Abap'ers.

I have done appraisal document creation for bulk using txt file.
this fm used for single for creation in standard tcode (phap_prepare): 'WZ_HRHAP_0DOC_WZ01_START'.
So create ztcode usinh this fm for single form then record BDC for this tcode and called this tcode in that bdc for bulk creation .
While recording for single I have used manual option instead of automatic .

Hi,
Is it possible in any way for us to mass upload attachments in an Oracle EBS form?
The requirement is to have each finished goods item to have a picture attachment, and we have an awful lot of new finished goods created each month, while attaching picture one at a time is really time consuming.

BDC for mass uploading Org Unit infotype

Hi,
I need do a mass uploading for one Org Unit Infotype via BDC. I created BDC batch loading file via SM35. I used PO10 to create Org Unit Infotype. After running TC "PO10", I need scroll down several Infotypes to reach the one that I need mass upload. But looks like BDC does not recognize the u201CScroll Downu201D, the batch loading file record by SM35 always selects the incorrect Infotype of Org Unit. Any suggestion to fix this? Thanks.

This may be little tough for 10000 sales orders.
1. You have to remove the output record for the irrelevant output record using tcode VV12 for the relevant document type. So now for the document type, the old output wont be triggered.
2. Now, create output records for hte correct output type in VV11 tcode(for the output type BA03) for the document type. Now this output will be triggered for all the document types you are creating from now onwards.
3. To trigger the output type BA03, in all the old orders, you just have to open these sales orders in change mode (VA02), and just save it. When u open it the output type BA03 will be automatically triggered as the master data is maintained in VV11. But because just opening all the 10000 sales orders in VA02 one by one be a mechanical task, you have to think of some tool for this.
May be a CATT procedure can do the trick. Else, you can just create a small program, where you can upload these sales orders and the program will just open these orders in change mode and just saves it (without making any changes). Then the output will be retriggered.
Here again, if you are printing the output directly, it is advisable to trigger the output in batch mode(Date/Time field is 1 in VV11), and then you can again trigger the printing again using the program RSNAST00 after office hours for these 10k orders.

I want to mass upload documents related to a person in Financial Document .
Is there any BAPI vailable for mass upload.
Or can LSMW can be used.
Please advice for the method of upload.

I have cretaed 5 document types ( Employee Photo, caste Certificate, Joining Biodata, Employee Signature, Gratuity Nominations).
I want to upload Legacy data which in mass to all employees created in SAP HR.
I have seen many threads related to Upload of employee photo. But I am not getting clear picture how to upload data related to various document types for an employee. I am using Assign and store scenario.(Manual Storing).
Is there any BAPI vailable for mass upload.
Or can LSMW can be used.
Please advice for the method of upload.

IProcurement - "mass upload" for non-catalog request

I want to find a way to do a "mass upload" when creating a non-catalog request.
Some back ground; I am not A DBA or a software developer; I am an engineering manager. I work for a large company and have responsibilities for creating Purchase Requisitions. I work from vendor quotes that contain many lines items, and always do non-catalog request because I often get special pricing or simply have non-catalog items. There are several fields on the requisition web page that need to be populated and it's quite cumbersome and time consuming to copy and paste 6 different data fields for 50+ line items. Since these are fields on a web page that correlate to some back end database there must be a way to populate them more quickly and easily, with an upload template, or via an API.
It is very, very difficult to find the proper internal resources to help me address this problem, and when I do find the right people I'm pretty sure I'll be told "it can't be done" I don't believe it can't be done. It may be difficult, it may require some work, it may require some development efforts, but from a purely technical point of view, populating multiple data fields with minimal user input is certainly doable. I want to be armed with solutions when I finally find the right people at my company. So, anybody out there figure this one out already? Once I do I'll be glad to share but hoping it's a know and fixed issue.

Hi Oscar ,
You need to create optional date prompt variable in BW which fills your requirement .
Ex : If you require report should always run for 1st of the month to last of month .Then create Optional date variable in BW with interval .write customer exit ,
if from date is left blank it should take 1st of the month and if todate is left blank it should take last of the month .
when creating webi schedules , leave prompts as blank.
