Hi everybody
"Create bid invit. from template in two different ways has different consequuences"
When I create a bid invitation from a previous template, from the template search results (Icon_create SAPLBBP_BID_INV 1010) my bid is published but then stay in the model search and the status is wating for approval. But no workflow started in BBP_PD.
If I use the same template for creating a new bid from the detail using the create bid invitation button, the bid invitation is created correctly.
I have configured the two events for the BUS2200 object and both of them have an initial condition.
It seems that the two actions trigger different events or something like that
Does anybody why it is occurring this and how I could link the workflow without approval for this case.

hi,
I dont think you can add custom field at the item overview level.
There is nothing in standard for CUF in item overview.
CUF are available in Header/item basic data, accounting and search screens, but nothing in item overview.
The only workaround which i can see is to modify the HTML page in the Internet Service .
You can try to use some standard field which stores the information you want to display (instead oc creating a custom field).e.g.If you want to display the Product CAtegory in addition to its description on the item overview screen(Table control),then you will have to find out the std field which stores the Prod category value.
If the standard populates that field with the info you require you'll not have to populate it yourself: so check it.
Be careful to add this column as the last column in the Table control, as the template refers to column numbers for existing data.
Then change the template in order to manage the field display in the different cases (selection and display).
DO NOT COPY STANDARD PROGRAM, or you will loose modification tracking during upgrade or SP applications.
Be careful. The same HTML templates of the Internet Service are (shared) used for all the users. So be very sure in making changes to the standard HTML template and publishing those changes. Incase of shortdumps here, you need to go through each line in the Service to see the cause of the error(which might be as silly as missing a comma, bracket, period after a line). SAP dump analysis is not much help here.

Error when create bid invitation (Tax code CN in procedure TAXD is invalid)

Dear All ,
We have issue in our PDP scenario, when creating a bid invitation from a PR (from R/3), an error occured with message" Tax code CN in procedure TAXD is invalid".
I already raise an oss message and the reply is because the system take different company code that's not active in R/3 system. Its because TAXD procedure is assign to country DE (German) and company 0001 country is "DE".

The OSS reply also mention that the company chages is because this badi
implementation ZBBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI with object type 'BUS2121' method 'BBP_SC_CHANGE' 'Method for Changing Shopping Carts'

MODIFY et_item FROM ls_item.

But we already use this badi for several years, and we're not sure that this badi id the root cause,and until now there still no solution for this issue.

In SPRO > IMG > SRM > SRM Server > Cross Application Basic Settings > Tax Calculation
1.Determine system for tax caluclation : Choose either no tax calculation or Tax calculation occurs in back end.
2. Enter Tax code : Mention Tax indicator as I0 and tax description Zero Tax, Check the No Tax check box and make it default based on your requirement.
Please follow the above steps based on your requirement which will definitely resolve your issue.
This issue comes when the tax calculation happens in the SRM system and the tax code I0 is not defined in tax procedure TAXD.
Hope this makes you more clear. Clarifications are welcome.

Error in creating the Domain from template in WLS 10.3.2

Hi All,
I am using WLS 10.3.2 and I need to create a domain from the template of my existing domain.
I followed these steps while creating my existing domain:
I chose these 2 while creating my existing domain
** WebLogic Portal - 10.3.2.0*
** Weblogic Portal Collaboration Repository - 10.3.2.0 [wlportal_10.3]*
after Test JDBC Data Sources step where all my tests fail and in the next step
Run Database Scripts: here I am running the Scripts by clicking on Run Scripts button and I get the message Database Load Successful!
everything goes fine and my domain works fine.
Now I am trying to create the domain template based on this domain which I created.
After this step I am trying to create a new domain from the newly created template. I follow the steps given and at the end
Creating Domain: Here it shows the progress and once it reaches 100% it displays the info in a popup window saying CFGFWK-60600: Before booting this domain, it is necessary to run the SQL file located at C:\bea\user_projects\domains\base_domain\security\SQLAuthenticator.sql in order to initialize a domain security admin user in the database.
I assume this message is because while creating the domain from template I did not get the step Run Database Scripts and that is why I get that msg at the end.
So I executed the create_db.cmd file wich is in domain home now I get the msg

BUG: Advanced Actions duplicated when creating NEW PROJECTS FROM TEMPLATE using Adobe Captivate 8.

Need: CREATE NEW PROJECTS FROM TEMPLATE using Adobe Captivate 8.
Problem: NEW PROJECT (.cptx) duplicates the Advanced Actions originally configured within TEMPLATE FILE (.cpt.).
For example: Template file (.cptl) advanced action "_initializeModule" gets duplicated as "_initializeModule1", "_initializeModule2", "_initializeModule3" within NEW PROJECT. FYI, the original "_initializeModule" advanced action still appears.
MAJOR BUG, what the heck is going on?!?!!! Planning to deploy this template file to use for multiple courses with multiple users, this WILL cause epic confusion across the board.

Similar problem, think they are working on it as well: when dragging a shared action from an external library to a slide or object event, and that action is using a parameter that was already created for another shared action, there will be a new parameter created which really screws up the shared action contrary to this problem. Tip: for the moment do not drag shared actions from an external library immediately to an event, but drag them first to the Library: Reuse Shared Actions in other Projects - Captivate 7 vs. 8 - Captivate blog

It should use the custom form also when creating incident based on a template. There must be something wrong with your implementation. Can you provide some screenshots of what it is you are doing so that there is no confusion in that regard?

Create a BID invitation from a BAPI

Hello,
    I have a situation here where i need create a BID when a save a QUOT, the process is a little complicated, but i will explain what've done.
    I activated the BADI BBP_DOC_SAVE with the filter for QUOT object (BUS2202) and using the guid of the BID that generate the QUOT I need create a new BID changing some parameters, to find out the initial BID i used the function BBP_PD_QUOT_GETDETAIL, to get details of initial BID invitation i used the function BBP_PD_BID_GETDETAIL so to create a new BID a used the funcion BBP_PD_BID_CREATE.
    After execute the function to generate the new BID there is no errors and the GUID and new id number returned into header structure, to ensure the generation i used the function BBPU_COMMIT_AND_WAIT but the BID is not create in the system.
    I don't have any idea about this problem any help will be accepted.

    Thanks for your answer, i will use this function, but i found a flag to process the function BBP_PD_BID_CREATE in bapi mode (I_BAPIMODE = 'X') and after put this flag the BID was generated.

Grouping of requirements into Bid Invitation from sourcing cockpit.

We are using Plan driven procurement ,bidding in ECS.Our requirement is as follows, we have multiple requirements(External requirements) transfered from R/3 with same material and same delivery date to same delivery place, we need to create one bid invitation line for all the requirements.
In the standard system it is creating one bid invitation, but it has multiple lines on the bid invitation, one line for each of the external requirement.
Is there any way to group the requirements into one line in bid invitation.

Create new page from template

I created a page, and saved it as a template. I want to
create a new page from the template (creating more pages for the
same website). When I select file > new > page from template,
the list contains <no sites>.
How do I get the page and / or template I already created to
be in a "site" so it shows up on the list. Couldn't find this in
the help file.

So where is the correct location?
I created the folder for this site when I first created the
html page. This is the folder I mentioned. This site folder was
created inside the Documents folder, I believe by default.
As I mentioned, on the first try, I just let it save the
template to this same site folder, which is what it suggested by
default, and it has been there ever since.
I only created my own "templates" folder as an experiment
after your first suggestion. I have now renamed it "Templates"
(upper case T) and the template is still not found with File >
New> Page from Template.
Sorry I am not sure if I understand exactly what you mean by
"A folder in the root of the "local site folder"". Is this the same
as or different from the site folder I created and saved the html,
css, and image files to? (which is in Documents) If different,
where can I find it?
I searched my system for ALL folders named Templates, and
found none that I believe could be associated with DW. Is this in
appdata or hidden location?

When i try to create new service request from template, I get my standard view of service request instead of my custom view, with different mandatory fields. and this prevents me raising the service request from template as I haven't kept few fields as mandatory, and creates lots of problem.

What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system SRM in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server xxxxxxx in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 1 in transaction ST11 on the application server xxxxxxxx. In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Please do the following steps.
When you are using the Internal ITS,you need not run the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES.(only SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT )
ALso pls check the foll:
-->activate the services through SICF tcode.
> Go to SICF transaction and activate the whole tree under the node Deafult host>sap>bc>gui>sap>its.
>Also maintain the settings in SE80>utilities>settings>internet transactuon server-->test service/Publish.
Table TWPURLSVR should have entries for the / SRM server line as well as gui and web server.
Could you please review again the following steps ?
Did you check that ICM was working correctly (TA SMICM) ?
1-Activate the necessary ICF services
With transaction SICF and locate the
services by path
/sap/public/bc/its/mimes
/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
2- Publish the IAC Services
With Transaction SE80 locate from
the menu Utilities -> Settings ->
Internet Transaction Server (Tab) ->
Publish (Tab) and set On Selected
Site = INTERNAL.
3- Locate the Internet Services SYSTEM and WEBGUI.
Publish these services with the Context
Menu -> Publish -> Complete Service
4- Browse to http://<server>:<icmport>/sap/bc/gui/
sap/its/webgui/! and login to the
webgui.

Can not create new page from template

I have been working on a new site for the last couple of
weeks and have created several pages using a basic template.
All of the child pages of this template still update when
changes are made to it, however I can no long create new children
from this template.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be.

my guess is that you are opening the .dwt template file and
doing a "Save
As". That page is not a "child" page of the template.

from list in left, click This Site Name
from list in right, pick This Template
make sure x is in box to Update if template changes
click okay
