Create documentation for sap query

Hello,
I have created a sap query with sq01 and I want to create also documentation for it.
I go from se38--> select the program and then change documentation,
but the documentation button is grey.

Hi,
I would like create documentation for each query,so that end user can get idea about particular query.
But I can see some documentaion from context menu(right click)->Goto->Display documentation.
Any tips???? Points will be given.

Go to www.help.sap.com
Select NetWeaver -> Select BI Content
In the left hand panel select your appliacion components (for Example:
Human Resource - > Recuitment -> Queries -> select any one query)
It will disply Technical name, Based on the InfoCube, Use and what are the
Free characteristics, characteristics, Keyfigures etc.
Now Create one Excel Sheet.
and create your document and show to your client.
If your client wants sample preview, then copy this query and check in the
BEx analyser. cut and copy that preview in your Excel sheet.
Then the Document looks beautiful...

Require TCode used by user for sap query created through SQ01

Hi All,
I have number of SAP Query in production that currently are used by different-2 user & created through SQ01
My question is how to know the TCode that used by user for SAP Query.

I knew the TCode of the query which I had created using tcode SQ01. user is using this query to see the report
Like I created query named 'order_line_details'. This query is basically to see the order & other details. To use this by user one TCode'zncv_ord_item' has been created.
So in the system lots of query are available. So i want to know the Tcode for those query that are using by user.

Issue in transaction code creation for sap query report .

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to create transaction codes for sap query reports. I found two ways to create transaction code for sap query report
1) By Generating program for sap query report and creation of transaction code for that generated Program. in tcode.
2) By using parameter transaction options in start object of se93
What are the difference between creation of these two ways. Please specify the advantages and disadvantages of both methods.

But I am getting problem while transporting form development system to the production system. After transporting to Production system I have used the code created in development system, but it is giving Error ' No Program Found for that Transaction Code. And I would like to know on what conditions should I have to use the First one and as well as a second one in sap query reports.

Transaction code for SAP query reports

Hi All,
I am trying to create transaction code for sap query report but couldn't go further.
1) Created User group in SQ03
2) Created infoset in SQ03 and assigned that to the user group
3) Created query in SQ01 using the infoset.
I executed the report in SQ01 and it is working fine.
Now I try to create a transaction code in SE93 using the steps mentioned in the following link:
Assign transaction code to SAP Query (created via SQ01)
But when try to execute the report using the transaction code, it is giving error message 'User group xxxxxx is not yet created'
Could any one advice me if I miss something? Or please help me to create this transaction code and transport to production?

based on the thread you've already mentioned:
In SE93, Create a Paramter Transaction
-> Transaction = Start_report
-> In default values, give the below details:
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = AQ
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = Name of the Query
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = User Group
So check if the user group is typed correct in SE93 and check also if the user group exits in the system where you are trying to run the transaction.

Integration documentation for sap sd with fico and mm

I need Documentation for SAP SD with FICO and MM Module

Some basic information :
FI-MM: The integration between FI-MM happens in T-code: OBYC
1. When PO is created :
No Entry -
2. When GR is posted
 Inventory Account dr (Transaction Key BSX in OBYC)
 To GRIR account (T.Key WRX in T-code OBYC)
3. When Invoice is posted
 GRIR account Dr.
 Vendor account Cr.
4. Payment made to Vendor
 Vendor A/c Dr
 To Bank Clearing A/c Cr.
Points to know : Movement Types, Assignment of Movement types to T-keys (T-code OMJJ), Value string (I also need some information on this) , OMWN and OMWB transactions.
There is a close integration b/w FI & MM, actually document flows from MM to FI in the following areas such as,
 1. Movement Types:
Used to enable the system to find the predefined posting rules determining how the accounts of financial accounting system are to be posted & to update the stock fields in the matrl master data.(Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, etc)
 2. Valuation Class:
Assignment of material to grp of gl account, used to determine the gl accounts that are updated as a result of goods movement.
3. Transaction/Event key:
Used to control the storage or filing of documents & assignment of documents.Used to differeniate b/w various transactions such as goods movement tht occur in inventory.
 4. Material Type:
Each material should assign mtrl type in mtrl master record used to update whether changes made in qty are updated in material master record & change in value also updated in stock account.
 FI-SD Integration:
The integration is done in T-code VKOA
 1. Sales Order Created
 -No Entry-
2. PGI done (Goods issue)
 Cost of Goods Sold Dr (Configured in OBYC GBB T-Key)
 To Inventory Account
 3. Billing document released to Accounting
 Customer Account Dr.
 To Sales Revenue Account (ERL T-key in Pricing procedure)
Note : The GL account is assigned to this ERL in VKOA
 4. Payment Received
 Bank Clearing A/c Dr
 Customer A/c Cr.
Points to Know : Good to understand the pricing procedure and how the different transaction keys are used like ERL, ERS etc

In a SAP-BW and BO environment using Business Object Universe generator, it appears that BO requires direct data base connectivity to read data from BW.
In XI/XI R2 , it use an RFC connection (MDX driver, which makes BAPI, SAP API calls) to SAP BW to obtain the details of the BW Query or Info Cube for building the Universe using the XI/XIR2 Business Objects designer application. The request for the query or cube details is done VIA BAPI function calls. For the SAP BW Query we must have allow External Access to this query checked under the Query Property window.
Our Integrated Solution Kits do not access the SAP BWs data source.

can u tell me how to create a transport request for sap query

i dont know the exact way to create the transport request but i have done by this way.
after creating the query come out and go to se38 by default it will show a program name like asbksll------- like this and now i have copied it to one z program and transport it.
it may solve your problem.

how to create documentation for report programs and how to use it in the selection screen by placing an icon in the Applicatin Tool bar. If i click this icon the help documentation has to display.
Note: Exaple RSTXSCRP programs selection screen

2 Click on documentation radiobutton & then press change
3 Write your PURPOSE, PREREQUISITES etc details
4 Save the same & Activae it.
The icon will come automatically on selection screen

Create a report pgm with the following code & create a T.Code for this pgm in se93.
data: gv_test type sy-repid.
DATA: GV_USERGROUP TYPE AQADEF-BGNAME VALUE 'FI',
 GV_QUERY TYPE AQADEF-QUNAME VALUE 'ZCON_FI_QUERY',
 GV_RNAME TYPE AQADEF-PGNAME .
CALL FUNCTION 'RSAQ_REPORT_NAME'
EXPORTING
 WORKSPACE = ''
 USERGROUP = GV_USERGROUP
 QUERY = GV_QUERY
IMPORTING
 REPORTNAME = GV_RNAME
* For the dynamic excution of the called query assisgn GV_RNAME to <gv_test>.
gv_test = GV_RNAME.
submit (gv_test) via selection-screen and return.

Question on creation of t-code for SAP query

Hello,
I posted a thread in here back on 06/20/2007 asking for help on creating a t-code for a SAP query. one of the responses that I recieved was
"Sure, all you need to do is get the report name which is generated by the query. You can find this in SQ01, select the query and from the menu, Query, More Functions, Display Report name. Then go to Se93 and create the tcode with this report name."
the report name was AQFKZFINANCE====GL_FRANCE=====.
I created the t-code using this name. I had it transported to my QAS system an now we are getting a error stating that the the program is not found.
When I check in SE38, I can see this program AQA0ZFINANCE====BP_RECON====== in both my development system and my QAS system.
Should I have created in the t-code using the AQA0ZFINANCE====BP_RECON====== instead of the AQFKZFINANCE====GL_FRANCE===== program?
Is there any reason why the program AQFKZFINANCE====GL_FRANCE===== would not be in QAS?
I do not have access to SQ01 in our QAS system so I cannot perfrom the process stated above.

Translation for SAP Query

Hi,
Is it posible to change the texts for coulmn in the report (ALV Grid) created though SAP Query (SQVI)?
Ex: if the Column has Number -> it should be changed to Nummer. This will be done based on some conditions.

Tcode for sap query

hi experts,
Pls let me know how to create a tcode for a SAP query .I am using infoset query for combining two tables.I have created a query and the report is working properly .now i need to create a tcode for end users to work on it .when they enter the tcode it has to go to the selection screen ie variant part of my report.

Hi,
Go to se93 and select the create button. You will then be asked to writed down the tcode of your choice then create a short text for that tcode. Select the 2nd option button w/c is the "Program and Selection Screen (report transaction)." Press enter. Then key in the program name and the variant you saved in the program. When transporting to Prod, Save the variant there as well. If you placed "DEFAULT" in the creation of tcode, you should also save "DEFAULT" variant in production. Hope this helps.
