Create folder inside "Programs"

Hey guys!
i just got my first Macbook yesterday, and i'm wondering how i create folders inside the "Programs" folder in the dock.
i recently installed the full Adobe CS4 pack (thx to my school for legal software <3!)
and it created soo many applications inside the programs folder. it created like 15 icons...
i'd like to put all those 15 icons. (which acctually are folders -_-) into 1 folder.
get it?
if not i can provide pictures.. but i dunno how to screen capture xD

I have done this once. As T mentioned some applications do not work properly if moved from original location and these you have are some of that kind.
From my experience I would uninstall - using the Uninstall application provided (maybe inside the /Applications/Utilities folder - and install again. If I am right, on the install option screen you can choose which applications you want and the install folder where you can browse to /Applications folder and Create Folder naming this as you wish - CS4, Adobe or other.

Error while creating folder inside the Public & Private Folders

Dear Gurus,
I am trying to create a new folder under Public & Private folder. But system is giving the error as " Please enter complete document key. Rollback was unsuccessful; the document is not assigtned to the folder."
But system is creating the folder outside the Public & Private folder.Created folder is visible only in the serach result. I am not able to delete the folder also from the serach result.
Request your inputs on how can I solve this issue

Problem got solved. There is one more table DOST which is linked to DRAW & DRAT. We deleted the vales of DOST & tried. It is wokring now.

Fireworks Album Creator 1.0 - Can't create folder

I'm following the tutorial here: http://www.adobeopenoptions.com/devnet/fireworks/articles/fw_album_creator.html and as instructed have downloaded the Fireworks Album Creator 1.0 MXP file (ZIP, 440K). I havd Win7 and CS4 design premium.
When doing the installation I get this dialogue:
"Adobe Extension Manager
Can't create folder 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe
Fireworks CS4\configuration\commands\Create
Slideshow'.
This is as far as I can get. Can anyone help?

You might try running the Extension Manager as an administrator. I had difficulties installing extensions with CS3 on Vista and I think the situation persisted to some degree. This might not be the right answer for you, but it's worth a shot.
To run as an administrator, go through your Start menu to All Programs, then the Adobe folder and find the Extension Manager. Instead of a clicking normally to launch the program, right-click and select "Run as administrator."

Install CS6 create a double folder c:\program files\common files

Install CS6 from DVD Media Kit (Upgrade CS5) create on partition C:\ a double folder "c:\program files\common files".
Start Photoshop and all other CS6 programs an error 5 failure.
All other programs (MS Office, CRM, ...) no longer running on this computer.
Only a Image restore in the previous state running the computer with CS5 and MS Office programs.
This failure is reproducible on this an other computers with same installation.

How to create Folder and subFolder using web services

Today I've been working with some Share Point develompment but the truth is that I can't just get it.
Can any body help me with some easy links to start Share Point Development?
Here is wath I'm trying: I need to create a new folder (lets say Folder1) inside a Document library. After Folder1 is created, I need to create a new Folder inside Folder1 (lets say Folder1.1) and so on.
Until now, I'm able to create Folder1 but after that I don't know how to continue creating subfolders.
It's important to say that I would like to solve this problem by using webservices and let de Microsoft.Sharepoint.dll as just in case.

(now with script code) droplet not creating folder cs4 photoshop windows 7

(i also posted this in the windows section but was told i should post here insted so i will try to close that one out)
so i created a script that creats folder and subfolders inside ( folder1\subfolder1\subfolder2 etc" and i run the script in photoshot cs4 11.01 it creats the foldets no prob. yet when i creat a droplet it wont work. the folders dont get made... i have admin rights and am logged in as admin all the time. when the droplet is run it will either launch photoshop or bring the running photoshop to the front, the taskbar icon flashes and after a min or 2 i get the error, " droplet couldnt communicate with photoshop"
can anyone help me out on rhis please?

Also the path itself looks strange as Documents and Settings is usually on drive C also the desktop is normally on drive C.
This path would normally be:

Alias to user folder inside user folder?

For some reason I've found I now have an alias (symbolic link?) to my user folder inside my user folder. This seems odd. It was created last November, and I have no idea how or why.
I'm wondering if it can have anything to do with the many anomalies I seem to be experiencing in Mavericks 10.9.5 on an Intel iMac, e.g.:
• The horror of thousands of "com.apple.IconServicesAgent failed to write" messages suddenly starting to show up in Console, with com.apple.IconServicesAgent consuming huge amounts of CPU time and memory, and Finder windows not listing their contents, with a gear in the corner spinning endlessly
• Extremely slow boot-up
• Extremely slow opening of apps such as Safari and Mail
• My main level "Library" and "mach_kernal" having become visible, when they originally were invisible
It seems that my entire system has gotten extremely sluggish, and I have tried everything I know, going through countless threads in this forum, trying "fixes" that don't seem to fix anything about it. I'm desperate, and now am wondering if this odd alias has anything to do with my woes. It's very troubling.

I do not think having an Alias to your home directory in your home directory will affect your performance issues.
I suggest you post the output from EtreCheck and let the forum analyze it.

I suspect something more serious is going on. Adware perhaps.
With respect to a back pointing Alias, since anyone can create an Alias (or a similar, BUT different, Unix symbolic link), the operating system is prepared to deal with loops, and tends to notice when a request to access a file has an infinite loop Alias or symlink in the path that prevents it from actually getting there.
You just double clicking on an Alias, that takes you back up the directory tree, is not an automated process, so you can most likely do that all day long, until you get tired of playing that game.
An applications program that decides to walk a directory tree by opening one directory at a time and not keep track of its history, nor notice that it opened an Alias or symlink is an application program that has a bug in it. There are not many programs that actually do this, and the few that do, have already discovered they need to either NOT follow an Alias or symlink, or know enough to maintain state information that tells them when they have a loop.

is it possible to have sub folders

And I want to have 5 folders inside mainfolder 1

now, I wan a sub folders inside folder1

I dont' want the subfolder1 to have the same top as folder1.top
it's seems that all folders must have the same top value
because when I changed the value of the subfolder1.top to 50, the value of folder1.top, and folder2.top changed to 50, in which i don't want it to behave like that

How to Read all files inside resource Folder inside Jar?

I have a Jar file,,,, The program reads for resource files in the resource folder inside the Jar. I want my program to read all files inside this folder without knowing the names or the number of files in the folder.
I am using this to make an Applet easy to be updated with spicific files. I just want to add a file inside the resource folder and Jar the program and automatically the program reads what ever is in there!!
I used the File class to get all file names inside the resource folder. it works fine before Jarring the program. After I jar I recieve a URI not Herarichy Exception!!

How to create folder on server.

Hello,
I want to make folder on remote server using sun.net.ftp. So how i can do that? I have api to create folder using issueCommand(newdir). But when i do this it gives null pointer error. In issueCommand() only pass directory name or path of remote server in which i want to create this folder.
For example
remotes server path : apps/bhavesh
new folder name like : test
so in issueCommand() pass only folder name or path also. and how i can do that?
