This sounds like a lovely idea; however, it is not currently possible to create fillable forms with Acrobat.com. To create a PDF form that can be completed and returned to the author, you will have to use Acrobat desktop software. If you're on a Windows machine, you can find a free 30-day trial right here:

(Unfortunately, there is no trial available for Mac at this time.)

What you're calling "Adobe Forms" is really Adobe FormsCentral. The FormsCentral service is indeed going away soon, but you can always create PDF forms (AcroForms) with Acrobat. Acrobat also comes with a desktop version of the FormsCentral desiger, which can be used to create simple PDF forms that can be used apart from the FormsCentral service. So you'll no longer be able to create and host web forms with the FormsCentral service or use PDF forms with the FormsCentral service. You will be able to create standalone PDF forms with Acrobat and simple PDF forms with the FormsCentral desktop app.

i exported the application from apex.oracle.com and imported it to our environment
import went fine, but when I ran the IR page I got
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00904: : invalid identifier
evidently the problem is a lack of public execute on DBMS_LOB, which is used in the generated IR source.
while waiting for the DBA to grant privs on DBMS_LOB, changing the dbms_lob.getlength call to length() fixes the IR.

- PA30
- Personnel no. 1
- Infotype: 16
- Click on edit
- Click on printing.
- Select the logical form name: HR_ES_COINEM_PE_202
- Click on create form
- When download the xml, appear an error: Internet Explorer can not download the HR_ES_COINEM_PE_202.xml from server
What happend? Any idea?

Creating forms for Iweb sites

MY question is about creating forms for iweb sites.
How do you do it?
I think I read somewere that you can't do this with iweb,
so I downloaded a free trial of rapidweaver, which will give me 3 pages for
the free trial, but it says you need php.
Which I don't know if I have php on my computer, my mac5 os x,
and I am not sure what php is.
If any one could explain how I can create forms on my iweb site
in a easy to understand point form.

Okay, I can't go into all the dynamics of the process as each ISP may vary enough to make my description unusable. In other words, what works with my ISP may not work with yours. You'll need to check out your ISPes position and requirements as far as this goes.
The first and most important thing to check out is does your ISP allow you to use CGI scripting such as PERL or PHP. Many small locally based ISPes allow this feature. Some large ISPes in Canada such as Bell's Sympatico give you Web space but do not allow scripting.
Next, unless you are an accomplished programmer you need to find (ideally) a free script that allows you to e-mail a form. I generally recommend something from Matt's Script Archive The scripts are are simple, come with instructions and work fairly well. There is also PHP Junkyard. I use one of their scripts for a message board I have.
Be forewarned, there is a learning curve. Also, if your ISP permits these scripts, you will need an FTP client application to upload them once you have made any necessary modifications.
As an afterthought, you might Google around and see if anyone provides a service that might suit your needs. Usually in those cases all you need to do is enter some HTML code into your iWeb page. This is not a drag-n-drop process and requires some "under the hood" work. One last point. Most of the scripts that I've dealt with will require an e-mail address to send the completed forms. If all is done according to instructions, Spammers will never see the address (you set the permissions for the file that contains your e-mail address so that only the owner can read that particular file; the owner being you). Does this give you an idea of what is involved?

My wish for next christmas would be to be able to capture video AND work on another project simultaneously, I can capture and surf the net, work in DVDSP or other apps, Windows can have two instaces of an application open at the same time, why not with FCP?

formats like .wmv, .rma, mpeg-2, flash, and all other forms of WEB COMPRESSION files.
Which begs the question: Why would you want to edit with these codecs? People need to understand that they should compress the finished product into a .wmv, .mpg, etc., not edit in super compressed formats.
What might be useful is native codecs for HDCAM, HDCAM SR, D5, etc., but that would mean expensive hardware and heavy licensing fees to Sony, Panasonic, and other high end format manufacturers. This is, however, possible. Sony XPRI has support for native HDCAM, and the ability to digitize two streams of SD simultaneously (how cool is that!).

I Wish for a little more IQ in AME when dealing with TIFF Sequences !!!

I drop a movie into AME (let us assume a .MOV) called MVI_7899.MOV which I want to convert to a TIFF sequence.
So far so good.
I set my parameters etc and choose an output destination.
I click render
Let us assume that my .MOV has 1800 frames.
AME names my new movie as follows
MVI_78990000
thru to
MVI_78991800
Any other app that I have ever been working with would have the chops to add an "_" (Underscore) character BEFORE adding the sequence number.
I SURE would wish for such in AME>>>>> If NOT already possible.

Also, I think there should be a preference called "Automatically Create Folder for Image Sequences"
This would create a folder with the name of MOV file and put all the sequences inside of it. THat would SAVE time. LOTS.
3)
Also, I think it would be fair to assume that anyone dropping a MOVIE into AME does NOT wish to create ONE tiff image from that whole movie but a TIFF Sequence. Choosing Adobes TIFF presets will NOT tick the "Export as Sequence"Parameter
4) Last but not least
Why on earth is it not possible to drag n drop a tiff sequence folder onto AME. I have to double-click in the source name view and then navigate to the sequence I want to import.
5) Ok LAST wish
When having navigated to a TIFF sequence I cant believe I have to check - Import as sequence - This parameter, in book, should be ticked by default.
At least I know of NO ONE.. Wanting to convert ONE single tiff frame to H264..
Perhaps the guys that make this app could consult a little with folks working with image sequences ;-)
Afterall, if you have a RAID0 system - movies converted to image sequences are going to beat the performance of ANY codec available on the planet currently.

Sending feedback that way ensures that it gets routed and filed appropriately. The forum here is a great place for discussing the issues, the feature request form is the best way get it in front of the right people's eyes.
FWIW, several of these issues are already logged internally, and are on the long list of improvements for the next version of AME.
Specific responses to each of your requests:
1) Yep. After Effects does this. AME should, too.
2) You're preaching to the choir here. I'd love to see AME and AE both adopt this feature.
3) I get frustrated by this, too. Export As Sequence is not enabled by default for any of the still formats except DPX. Definitely want to fix this.
4) AME isn't quite smart enough to distinguish a folder of individual TIFF files from a folder containing a TIFF sequence. Same reason that you can't use sequence files as a source in a Watch Folder. Definitely something we want to fix.
5) Yep. After Effects does this. AME should, too.
