Create guides in monitor

Hi!
Is ist possible to create guide-lines in the preview monitor like guides in photoshop to move videos precisely to a certain position?

Actually, unless one is doing something simple, I find Titler to be a bit more work, than PS. I just do an Image New, choosing the proper Video Preset and then View>Grid. With the Pen Tool, I can easily and quickly create my Paths, in any increments that I want. Then, Stroke Paths does the job. Note: due to PAR differences, the new Guides might appear at different Stroke widths.
If I'm doing a lot of PiP, I'll build these with rectangles positioned and sized to suit. This really speeds up Keyframing Motion & Scale for me.
Maybe I just always look for a reason to fire up PS?

Is there a way to create guides within ruler guides or aligned to ruler guides?

So I was wondering for my own sake if there was a way to create guides within ruler guides or have it align to ruler guides? I am working on this magazine where the layout has a ruler guides. Which is inside the margins. I'm guessing this is to ensure the content is safe and also leaving adequate room for folios and running heads. This leaves me with the inside of the ruler guide to create my own grid. I tried doing this by hand and it seems to work fine however I was wondering is there a way to align the guides/grid (columns and rows) to the ruler guides instead of the margin or page? This would be extremely helpful as doing it by hand is quite the task. I'm trying to personally see how many rows and columns I can get in for a verstatile grid that can be used for different sorts of layout. (although I guess the grid could too many rows and columns) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to make it align to the ruler guides instead of the page and margin? example of what i'm talking about:

Does anyone know of any illustrator plugins that will generate customized guides? I'm looking for something like you can do in InDesign with its Create Guides feature.

Draw a rectangle and then Objct > Path > Split into grid.

Service monitoring is not showing all the services when i create a service monitor under Management pack templates.

I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 in my environment. I want to do a service monitoring on specific agents. When i try creating this service monitor which comes under the Management pack template when i select the service which i want to monitor it does not
show all the services in the drop down.
For example - I have Windows audio service which is present on the machine, But it is not showing in the service list.
So from the services stating from "W" i see only 5 in SCOM and in services.msc in the Agent i see more than 5.
Below is the screen shot.

So based on your above suggestion, If the services are already managed / monitored by a specific
management pack those services will not appear here in the Wizard while creating this type of a Management pack object alert right ?
If that is the case why does not the same reflect here in the operations console in the Services monitor

Does anyone know how to Create a new monitor profile...Running Windows 7 with Elemnts 9 and I cant find a Adobe Gamma Wizard on my PC.

Adobe Gamma has been long discontinued, because it was never meant to work with anything but the old fashioned CRT monitors (the ones like tube television sets).
You may have some kind of utility in your video driver, which is better than nothing, but the best way to calibrate a monitor is with a hardware device. They're not nearly as expensive as they used to be--check out the Huey or the colormunki, for example.

Error in creating GUID using com.sap.guid API's

difficult to reproduce. But it might be a data conversion problem.
e.g. try
to_char(a.num_tabs)If that's not the error comment out certain lines or xmltags and test which one is the reason for the error.

i have a class and it has multiple instances which inturn has data about each and every instance as performance logs etc

the discovery of the class will populate the class object property's and discovery can discovery multi instance of class, make sure there is a key property for class.
once you target a rule or monitor a workflow will be create for each instance, as the rule target to the class you can pass class instance and host class property's as parameters.

Create guides

Hi,
i'm new to Illustrator CS4 and i need to used it at work.
I was wondering with i'm not able to create new Guides with keyboard shortcut.
in settings it is set for CTRL+5... but in the menu View > Guides > Make Guides it is disabled (grayed).
any idea ?

They are called guides.
I am unaware of a keyboard shortcut in Illustrator (through version 12) that enables you to create guides merely by entering coordinates.
Vertical and horizontal guides pulled from the ruler can be unlocked and moved. Once unlocked (and selected), they can be individually positioned numerically by entering x or y value in the transform palette/panel or control palette/panel. (Remember to re-lock!)
Holding down the shift key while pulling out guides will make them snap to ruler increments.
You might be able to write actions to automate some of this and add keyboard shortcuts. However, if you have a set of guides you re-use often, a template might be a better solution.

Create a new monitor profile?

Creating Guides in PSE?

I have not found a way to create Guides in PSE 4 or 5, or any information on doing this. Can anyone tell me how this can be done?
Also, guides made on a file created in Photoshop 7 or CS2 do not show up when the file is opened in Elements - is there a way around that?

Turns out you're right, guides created in PH& or CS2 DO show up in PSE 5.
Any thoughts on how to create or view them in 4?
I'm sorry, I don't have enough PSE experience to know how it works, because it's so simple to click and drag from the ruler in CS2.

How to setup Guided Procedure Monitoring in NWA?

Hi I have NW2004S patched to SP11.
When trying to open the Guided Procedure Monitoring in NWA
NWA, Monitoring>Guided Procedures
I get the following error:
Guided Procedures JMX provider is stopped in the target system. Start cafeugpmodeljmx~eap application

However, the application cafeugpmodeljmx~eap when you go to NWA applications tab.
Any suggestions on what must be done to configure the monitoring?
I need to do this to monitor / debug the GP.

Go into Visual Administration and check if the application has been started. The path is Services -> Deploy -> Monitoring Configurator. Expand that and see if the jmx.eap application is running. If not, then start the application.

Creating SNMP Trap Monitors in 2012 R2

For the past week or so I have been attempting to create a MP for my company's UPSs to be monitored in SCOM 2012 R2. I have created a custom MP with custom datasources and objects. All seems to go according to the plan until I attempt to create a SNMP
Trap monitor for those objects. I am able to verify that the device is discovered and is sending the traps successfully with a view. The problem seems to lie within the setup of the monitor. to create a monitor that will be triggered by an incoming trap saying the UPS is on Battery Power.

I tried the following things while attempting to troubleshoot this issue:
Leaving First
SnmpTrapProvider and Second
SnmpTrapProvider blank while creating the monitor.
Adding "" and also '' around the value as it is a string and perhaps that was the cause.
Changing the First and Second SNMPTrapProvider to .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0 since that is the specific OID I am looking for the value of.
Reading every page of the internet and bashing my head on the keyboard.
I am guessing that the issue will reside in the the monitor creation and definition, but I have not found anything that clearly describes how to fill out the SNMP Trap Monitor wizard given the trap info. Especially since the trap I am receiving does
not seem to contain the usual OID with a common Int or string value. Hopefully someone can provide assistance as I am nearing my wits end with this problem.

Error while creating PO using monitor shopping cart

Hi all,
We are facing one issue while creating the PO in SRM using the monitor shopping cart node. The system is throwing an error message stating that u201CEnter Tax Codeu201D because of this we are not able to proceed further. Can anyone knows why this error message is showing. I debugged the code but I couldnu2019t find out from where this message is triggering. Which BADI / FM is called up at this point giving this error message..?

Does your business has practice to enter a tax details in basic data of sc since this below configuration brings the tax settings in shopping for all type of shopping carts
SPRO>Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Tax Calculation-->Determine System for Tax Calculation - What is the existing settings?
if it so the basic data , you can find tax details otherwise not.
if there is a setting like no tax determination, you need to check the given vendor data whether ERS is flaged or not.
since ERS flag equires tax data.
