Create memory snap shot in SRM 7

I have below two questions about the create memory snap shot tab
Why create memory snap shot tab is provided in SRM 7, this tab appears when we create shopping cart, contract etc. ?
How to access the created memory snap shot ?

Memory snap is used to analyze memories, see more information from sap help online document.

The visibility of the buttons "Create Memory Snapshot" and "System Info"
is based on authorization object /SAPSRM/TL. The authorization object is
not part of the standard SAP SRM PFCG roles. A normal user shall not have this authorization object
because the authorization object belongs to the authorization class BC_C (Basis - Development Environment).

It was running from last 2:30 hrs ..and not complted it was showing running normal. thats it.
actually it completes in 30 mins in our instance. it happens after cloning done from production.

Error When Starting VM Failed to create memory contents file

Hi,
I"m experiencing issue with a VM that has previsoulsy been snapshotted. The snap shots have been since deleted via the Hyper V Manager. The snap shots were not applied to the VM. Also no .avhd files have been deleted via Windows Explorer
When I start the VM I get the following error message.

Hi,
Please check whether you receive these error logs: Event ID 3130, 3131, 3320 or 3321.
Check the environment in which the start virtual machine operation was being attempted, including:
access and permissions to the configuration file, memory file and all image files
prior error messages in the event log
available RAM on the system
configuration settings
disk space for the memory file and any expanding virtual hard disks
Once the necessary issues have been rectified, try to start the virtual machine again.
If the problem continues, restart the VMMS Service.
To restart the VMMS service using the command prompt:
1. On the computer that has the stopped service, open a command prompt as local administrator and type the following:
net stop nvpswmi
If the service is not running, you will see the error "The Hyper-V Networking Management service is not started."
3. On the command prompt type the following command to start the nvpswmi service
net start nvspwmi
If the service start starts you will see the message "The Hyper-V Networking Management service was start successfully."
To restart VMMS using PowerShell:
1. On the computer that has the stopped service, open a command prompt as local administrator and type the following:
C:\PS>restart-service vmms

Oracle 9i Snap shot too old error

Hello All,
We are using Oracle 9i. When I refresh M Views manually they are executing fine.
Initionally while creating M Views. I did a auto refresh for every 4 hours. After a week of sucessfull execution they error out giving snap shot too old error.
Upon my DBA request We have increased UNDO space from 500 MB to 2 GB.
And also removed AUTO refresh of M Views and created a procedure to refresh M View one after the other and scheduled to run 4 times a day.
Logic is to avoid parallel M View refresh.
However, non this helped to resolve snap shot too old error.
Now My DBA is asking increase the space by 2 more GB. I think the issue is some thing else.
Similar jobs are running perfectly in my Dev environment (DATA is almost same 10% varience) with UNDO size 500 MB.
Can you please help me here.

second. Can you modify your undo to autoextend?
third. Who is using the undo?

Snap shot in inventory management

Is it recommended to use the snap shot scenario in Inventory management cube 0ic_c03?
If yes can you please tell me the procedure to finish the process or creating it?
I have already loaded the data in to the cube from the Data sources 2LIS_03_BX AND 2LIS_03_BF.

Mark, PrtSc alone will copy the screen to your clipboard. Alt + PrtSc will copy just the active window to the clipboard.
Then you'll need to paste the picture into an image-compliant application, like Paint (mspaint.exe) or Word (winword.exe), and use Save As on its File menu to create an image file.
You can capture any portion of the screen using the Snipping Tool (snippingtool.exe).

Create a new role in SRM 7.0 and Portal

Dear All,
We are using SRM 7.0 with Portal. We created a maintenance table in SRM. This table must be maintained from time to time by the key users. But they want to maintain in from Portal, not from SRM.
When i was using SRM 4.0, it was simple, i was creating a new role from PFCG and assigning the table to the role. Then i was be able to see and maintain it from web. But it is not that simple now in Portal side. Because i created a new role and assigned the table to that role in SRM, but nothing happened in Portal side.
Can anyone advise me the steps ? How am i going to show and maintain this table in portal ?

Stock snap shot

We have implemented 2LIS_03_BX for Initial stock( Till day) and 2LIS_03_BF for movements ( from today).
So we are not loading any past movements.we are interested only in movements from today.
Now, the clients wants to see the weekly(starting from current week) snap shot of stock quantities and values(Like total inventory quantities and Values). For this scenario, 2LIS_03_BX and 2lis_03_BF are suffiecient if i read the material value from the MBEW table in update rule? or do i need to implement 2LIS_03_UM as well?...If i use 2LIS_03_UM will satisfy my requirement?.

Hi Mummaneni,
Based on your client requirement, loading data from BF after initializing stock using BX would be sufficient to view your stock qty for each day provided you load the data daily.
Also ensure you do the marker update for BX and no marker update for initialized BF.
You can get your MAP values against your Material from MBEW table which BF does not bring. There is a separate datasource that provides MAP values against Material...otherwise you could simply enhance BF with a new field. BF normally provides you the unit and total purchase value of the goods.
UM is used to get the revaluations at cost that may happen from time to time. It is similar to the sales price revaluations that you find in Retail based industries which frequently require use of 2LIS_40_REVAL datasource.
If it suits your requirement to get the price changes at cost, you may very well get BF data too...it might be necessary, I would say. Also do a no marker update for BF initialized update for the first time incase you have some historical from R/3.

In the Extended Classic scenario, what creates the PO on the SRM side?

Hi Experts,
This sounds like a simple question, however, I've been unable to find the answer.
What I am looking for is the process (report, workflow or function module etc etc) that actually creates the PO on the SRM side once the shopping cart has been approved (before it is replicated to ECC).
The reason for this is, after a support stack upgrade, the creation of the PO seems to have slowed down once the shopping cart has been created. I'm trying to track down where the PO gets created and what triggers that to happen, in order to work out why it isn't as quick as it was prior to the upgrade, but can't piece together the full end to end process.
I can see the "Workflow Without Approval Shopping Cart" workflow that obviously Releases the shopping cart and sets the status to Approved... I can then see the equivalent workflow for the PO (Workflow Without Approval for PurchOrder), but I can't work out the bit inbetween -
- How does the PO actually gets created in SRM and what triggers that to happen?
Any help will be gratefully received - thanks in advance.

its an event related to the shopping cart business object- BUS2121.
your approval workflow should be of status set released, which will trigger the methor BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER, finished approval is the event which will be triggered by the workflow, based on this event, system will trigger reqreq_transfer.

Create PO at backend from SRM

I have below scenario to create PO at backend from SRM
1)SRM Shopping cart(assign contract number) ->Create PO at ERP
2)SRM Shopping cart ->RFx-> RFx Response -> Create PO at ERP.
Can you pls confirm below doubts.
1) Does the BAPI(BAPI_PO_CREATE1) is called for both above scenario?
2) Also I want to know how the attachment transfer is carried out from SRM to Backend.
I found note to implement BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW at SRM for backend transfer.
I implemented as follows including setting at ERP DC10,DC20,DC30.
method IF_EX_BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW~FILL_PO_INTERFACE1.
Enable transfer of attachments in classic scenario
cs_ctrl_att-BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'.
cs_ctrl_att-BE_STORAGE_CAT = 'ZDMS_CT_CT'.
cs_ctrl_att-TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'.

But i could not understand the general flow how the file attachment at SRM Portal is transferred to ERP DMS.

yes, we are working on SRM7.0 EHP4.0.
As you said, I can see in PI SXMB_MONI messages the PO is created in ERP backend.
But why its going thru ESOA? Why its not taking above BAPIs and RFC to transfer the PO datas?
Also again the attachment is missing in PO created. its not transferred in ESOA standard?
Addon possible to solve the problem?

We transferred ERP PR file attachment as URL from ERP to SRM using BBP_TRANSFER program.
Now after attaching file in SRM portal at RFX ,how PO is transffered to ERP?
Pls guide me what should be done?

Problem attempting to create a purchase order via SRM Portal instance.

Unsing SRM7.0 with PPS; When attempting to create a purchase order via the "Create Purchase
Order" button in SRM Portal instance, after select ECPO type; the following message is show in the screen: "Object or set with GUID 00000000000000000000000000000000 does not exist".

The problem was the attributes specialy the BSA.
chekout the attribute should be at highest level and in the user not excluded (grayed).
