Create new child accounts under an active account with transactions

Hi experts,
I've searched on the forums but could't get to a definitive conclusion.
Is there a way to create new child accounts under an active account with transactions?
I have an account 6226 with transactions.
The customer would like to divide this account in 4 new accounts:
62261, 62262, 62263, 62264.
B1 gives an error when I try to change the account to title which is undestandable but I imagine that should be a way to do this beacause with time the customers needs can change...

Welcome you post on the forum.
B1 has only one level for active account. You can get the definitive conclusion that it is not possible to have child active account.

There is no "adding" a device. Simply plug the iDevice into the computer. iTunes should automatically detect the device when it is connected.
iTunes can sync/manage as many iDevices as you want... there is no 1 device limit.

Can't create new folder to Applications in standard account

Hi.
As I have two accounts one admin account and other standard account and last time it didn’t work in both.
So I just restored factory settings like described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3910
This fixed the problem.
Now again I can't create new folder to applications but this time it doesn’t work only in my standard account but it does work in admin account.
Previously I downloaded this program to open pdb files :http://www.loghound.com/pordible/
But it didn't work for me so I removed it to Trash. That's when I noticed that the new folder icon in applications isn't active but I can't be sure that this caused it.
I used Disc Utility to repair my macbook pro hard disk using Mac OS X Install DVD but it didn't fix the problem.
Is there any way to fix this problem without restoring factory settings again?

I think either way should work OK - it's less of a security risk to use a standard account for "everything", including web browsing, but I confess I don't myself do this. You would again have to authenticate with an admin username/password if you do download and install from the standard account.

Creat new admin cannot access old user accounts

i got a macbook running os x 10.6.8 i forget the admin account's password i created new administration account using command+s and typing following commands
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
now i can not access my old data i got 80 gb hard drive i can only access 6 gb of it how can i access my old user accounts and all of its data

Does the old user account have the same name as before , or has it been changed to 'xyz (deleted)' ?.
If it has a usable name, just go to System Preferences - Accounts & create a new one with that exact name.
Click OK when "A folder in the Users folder already has the name 'account name'. Would you like to use that folder as the Home folder for this user account?" appears. Note: This will correct the ownership of all files in the Home folder, and avoid permissions issues with the contents
You can then logout & into the 'new' one.

If you want to continue using the new account you've already made, but access the old folders :
Select the old account home folder in Finder, then use Finder - File menu - Get info (command I). Open the 'Sharing & Permissions' section at the bottom, then click the padlock icon at bottom right & authenticate with an admin name & password.
Click the + button & add your new account name to the list, then select it & change 'Read only' to 'Read & Write'.
Now click the gear icon at the bottom & choose 'Apply to enclosed items...'

Should I set up my daughers new Ipod Touch under my Itunes account? will this effect imessaging? Will I see her messages?

My daugher has a new Ipod Touch. I would like to have her device set up under my itunes account, however she would like to imessage etc. How do we set up the Ipod so that she has her own messages and I don't get hers because she will be under my itunes account.
What do I need to do differently when entering the Apple ID and password. I currently entered my itunes info.

Create new instance through global interactive activity

Hi All,
I have a requirement where when instance is completed, I need to provide a link at instance end through global interactive activity. Once user clicks on that activity a screen appears where user clicks on button and new instance should be created.
Now the problem is I tried notifying the main process and then use process creation activity to create instance but this cannot be used as instance is already completed.
Second approach i used is processinstance.create method. But new insatnce is not getting created. Also i m not getting any exception.
Please reply as this is very important requirement.

Create a new instance before the END activity is executed..
After the screenflow for the global activity pass a variable to collect the button value on ON CLICK..
If button value = true, then call a sub-process else END.. The sub-process does not need any Global activity to start the process . The values would be passed from the BEGIN activity of the sub-process itself.

Two me accounts under an iCloud account

Hi,
My question is quite simple. I and my girlfriend use the same mac under the same user login, icloud, apple id etc.
I have my me account from icloud. My girlfriend also would like to setup a me account that she can access through the mail app like I do.
Is this achievable.
We have ios devices that are all synced to the same icloud. The only difference is that her mail is setup to use her optus mail which she wants to get rid off.
I tried to see if I could get another me account under icloud but only alias were available.

Moving email from inactive account to an active account

This month my ISP and main email provider ended email service and therefore my TB account for that IMAP email address is inactive. My TB has five other accounts and I would like to move email and folders to active accounts but it appears that I cannot. When I attempted to delete a folder in the inactive IMAP account but it seems that TB needs to connect to the ISP email server. How can I get TB to allow me to move the email and folders to another account?

Garry how about starting your own thread with a few details including what Inactive account means to you. There is no reason to bring this thread back to life after 2 months.

BAM 11g - creating new report - More options not active

I am creating new reports in BAM 11g. 11.1.1.3.0 Build 8553
I can select the Data Object and Data Fields, but.... When I select any of the More options.... such as Create a filter or Create a calculated fied etc... I get the View Prompts screen and I cannot get out of it.
The Properties object works, but as soon as I go back to the Data Objects - I am on the View prompts screen with several unlabelled tabs... and I can only OK, Cancel or Save.
If I re-edit the reprt - I go straight to this View Prompts Screen... and can do nothing on the data objects.
Rebooting makes no difference....
Has anyone else seen this.
I am using JDK 1.6.0_14... which i picked up from a post in the forum.... but this has made no difference.

There must have been a typo or something when I reset the Java version.... re applying the copy of JDK 1.6.0_14 and restarting, Fixed the problem.

SharePoint 2010 - Create new site collection in existing web application with different existing content DB

I have a SharePoint 2010 root level site collection SC1 in web application WEBAPP1. I want to create copy of that site collection in same web application WEBAPP1. Apart from Import/Export, Restore/Backup options, will following approach work? If yes , how?
I took backup of content database of web application.
Restored database with different name
Mounted Content database to this WEBAPP1 by assigning new ID to DB
Created new site collection by using this newly mounted DB
Site collection gets created successfully but content does not appear.
Please guide if i can achieve desired functionality by using this approach.

It is because the Site GUID is identical, and each GUID can only be present on the farm once. You can use Backup-SPSite/Restore-SPSite (which is full-fidelity, unlike Export-SPWeb/Import-SPWeb), which will generate a new GUID for the restore Site Collection,
even in the same Web App.

Creating new DMS info record directly from purchase order transactions

Hello Everybody,
does anyone knows of a way to make it possible for users to Create New DMS info record directly from the purchase order transactions ?
e.g:
in ME22N there is a button of "Documents" for an item level in the order, but that button only allows to link an existing info record.

How come when i am on the phone or in phone app, I add number to "create new contact". But when I go back to contacts to look it up, its not there?
