I'm trying to use the tcode KE11 but I don't know how can I create new planning layout for sales and proft plan.
Anybody can help me?

Inform me if i am getting it right...
Step 1 : You are loading data for 2007 for example, do the distributions, everything is ok.
Step 2 : You are loading data for 2008, do the distributions, the data from 2007 are distributed too.
If this is the case just create a data slice gor 0fiscyear, to restrict the data to be affected by the planning functions.
Or is the Step 2 is that you are loading extra data for 2007 ?

A plan type is basically an essbase database, you create them based on the model you are building, if the design cannot accommodate one database then you have the option to use additional databases (plan types)
You cannot add/delete plan types once the application is created though.

GRC PC 10 - Create new plan and configure workflows

Hello,
I'm trying to create a new plan (I allready have 2 new plans created) and I want to configure it workflows.
One is a replica of Self-Assessments and another is a replica of Test of Efectiveness.
The difference is that their applies to differents certifications and must have differents uses.
But I don't know where to configure or create the event to assign a role or determine the agent.
For example, one of the new plans are PERF-AUISO.
And the second question is, where can I define that my new plan (Self - Assessment) with a survey, don't have any final result? I don't want that the users who response says if it is "Adequate" or "Defficient". I want that only responds a text por a control.

Hello Claudenir,
the concept in GRC is not to delete master data but to delimit the validity.
There is no deletion supported in the standard functionality.

Left over of Sales Order creates new planned order of whole batch

Hi Gurus,
We are using planning without Assembly strategy (52) and Sales order is created in our sales plant and Purchase order from sales plant creates STO on manufacturing plant which than produces material using process order.
Now sales order says 5000 EA but actual production is if 4985 EA in Manufacturing plant which is transported into Sales plant and sales plant receives 4985 EA which keeps sales order of 5EA in the system
When MRP runs overnight creates planned order for left over quantity and it is of whole batch 5000 EA. This confuse our planner.
Can anyone provide me the solution please?

Hi,
For strategy 52 FX never works so we have lot sixe "EX".
We have set up tolerance limit of +/- 10% but when less quantity is received (4985 instead of 5000) from manufacturing plant system thinks there is an open sales sales order of 15 and creates a new planed order.
If we have materials 4980 in stock and we create a sales order for 5000, tolerance will be considered for this and there won't be any open sales order but in our case Sales order allows us to procure and when GR quantity is less than sales order it is treated as left over and create planned order.
Please help me by replying if any one knows.

Creating new keyboard layout

My last Mac model was 7500 (long time ago) with Mac OS 7.x. Since then I used PC with Windows OS, and now I am back to the game again. Mac OS is changed significantly since then, so I have to start from begining.
Now, because Macedonian keyboard has not the same layout as in Win OS I would like to redefine it, or to create a new one. I could do it then (with some tricks that I forgot) but not now. Can anybody help me to do it, please?

Cannot create new planning app following installation of 9.3.1

Hi,
I have installed planning including epma. I have registered everything with HSS and have created a data source through the config tool. However, I cannot see how to create a new app through workspace and planning is not listed as a project in HSS. I have created the sql repository etc
Has anyone seen this before?

Hi,
First of all there will not be a project in HSS, you can manually create one and call it whatever you like.
Have you granted shared service roles :- Dimension editor and Application Creator.
If you have and configured correctly you should be able to create an application through workspace > Navigate > Administer > Classic Application Administration > Planning Administration
You should be also able to access planning directly to create an application :- http://<planning machine>:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp

Unable to create new Planning application

I try create Planning Application:
http://<myserver>:19000/workspace -> Log On -> Navigate -> Administer -> Classic Application Administration -> Planning Administration
and receive an error on the page "Create Application":
An error occurred while processing this page. Check the log for details.
If I try http://<myserver>:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp - I have this error too.

I have the same problem. I installed 9.3.1 exactly in the order given in documentation.
I also configured all products and planning data sources successfully.
Products I Installed:
Oracle Database
1. Shared Services
2. Essbase
3. EPMA
4. Reporting and Analysis
5. HFM
6. Planning
I have created a user given access to all the glbal roles available but still get this error.
Similarly in the Essbase user properties of (the default admin user and the user created by me), under Application Access type, only Essbase is enabled. Planning is disabled.

Hi,
What you mean series commitment item for subtotal? for planning or reporting.
To create new planning layout, just copy the standard planning layout and add the new column, select the attribute for distribution key.

Creation of new planning level in BPS0 in BW 3.5

Dear Experts,
I have to create a new planning layout in BW 3.5 BPS
for this ,I have followed the below procedure:
-Maintained the master data of new keyfigures in Info Object: Key Figure (0MEASURE) in RSA1
-Copied the Similar Planning level in the same Planning area (in which I need to add the new one) and created a new planning level with its subordinate objects and then changed by deleting the keyfigures except # and added the new keyfigures, to be maintained in new planning area and saved.
-Changed the planning layout (which is created automatiacally whne we copied planning level) by deleting the existing key figures except 0KEYFG_FLAG and added the required key figure and saved.
-copied the planning profile and created a new planning profile and changed it with required planning level and package and saved.
-In T-code:upx_mntn1, I could see the new planning level with the required key figure there.
But this new planning profile is not appraring in the CRM server.
As I haven't worked in BPS , please guide me if there is any thing needs to be done or any changes in the procedure followed.
Please share any documentation or links you have ....regarding this

We have a requirement from our customer to create two new planning layouts as per the data given below.
Example

Costcenter 3     Costelement 1     Amount     Distribution Key 3
Please suggest on how to create the planning layout as per the requirement.
Also, how do we see the output of the layout?

Hi:
To see the output you have to assign the layout to a planning profile and go to manual planning transaction picking the profile where you assigned the new layout.
Besides, I believe to remember you can navigate from the layout (when you are creating it) to manual planning (look for it in the menu ("go to" or similar)). It is useful to test it.

Planning Layout - Library/Reporting Table Assignement ?

Hello,
Anybody knows how to add characteristics/key figures to the ones available in standard when creating a planning layout for manual planning ? Via table KPPT you can deduct that planning areas are asigned to sort of libraries (1P1, 1P2...) but these libraries cannot be found in table T801K.

When you create a new element as you describe, one can select among proposed characteristics/key figures but if I want to use one that is not proposed; is there a solution for that. My precise request is to be able to include budgeted costs in a cost element planning layout.

Planning layout for account based CO-PA

Hi Gurus!
I want to create a new planning layout in profitability analysis to be able to maintain planned values directly in profitabilty analysis on cost element level.
But somehow there is no possibility to plan the value in comany code currency. When selecting costing based co-pa and then calling transaction KE16 -> create new layout, you are asked by the system whether you want to plan in Controlling Area currency or also in company code currency. But, when selecvting account based co-pa this is not possible. You can only choose controlling area currency.
Can somebody explain this?
