Create or modify Virtual time hierarchies

I need to create a hierarchie where over the 0CALDAY with the next characteristics:
1. The start day of workdays is Friday and the last day is Thursday.
2. I try with SCAL and Virtual Time Hierarchies but not is posible in the Calendar Factory (SCAL) I can´t flag the first day to workday how Friday
3. In the Virtual Time Hierarchies, only can use standar virtual hierarchies and I can´t modify or I don´t know how to do.
you know other option?

There's also "Edit Capture Time" in the metadata window. But a lot of people in this forum are seeing buggy behavior when editing dates in LR 1.1, so I'd recommend using a different tool (exiftool, Attribute Magic, exifer) for this.

I have problems with virtual time hierarchies. I activated a time-hierarchy related to time-characteristic 0CALMONTH (Cal. Year/Month), and to do so I had no problems.I choose the time hierarchy called 0HYEA1_QUA1_MON which starts from root "Halfyear", goes down with the child "Quarter" and finishes with leaf "Cal. Year/Month".
The problems I have is that when I try to use this hierarchy in a Bex report (I restrict characteristic OCALMONTH), the hierarchy doesn't display month value for year 2005!I mean that, for example, it doesn't display value "April 2005", but in my Infocube this value is stored!
What can I do?

There is a tab before the hierarchies - General Settings in transaction RSRHIERARCHYVIRT - increase the time interval in the top range.

Time Hierarchies

In the context menu for 0FISCPER (Fiscal Year/Period), I see that one can "Create Hierarchy". But obviously like any other regular hierarhies, this is limited by the master data that exists in T009B table. Our system currently has T009B table loaded upto Period 12, 2010. My specific questions are:
1. I know that I can build this hierarchy manually, but are there any business content TIME hierarchies? Since T009B table is a system table, I was hoping that SAP would deliver a business content hierarchy for 0FISCPER!!
2. Unless we change the T009B table on R/3 and pull it over to BW, we can't build the hierarchy beyond 2010! Is this a regular practice that the time hierarchies need to be maintained manually every time there is a new fiscal period comes into Master data?

Virtual Time Hierarchy parameters

I have a few Virtual Time Hierarchies defined on our BW system.
These are automatically shown in Business Objects webi when accessing a BEx query but they always show only 1 level.
If I define one of the virtual hierarchies on my object in BEx and I set the number of levels manually this is correctly represented in Webi.
Apparently the default level setting for Virtual Time Hierarchies is level=1
Is there anywhere where this can be changed?
I would like to set the correct level of each Virtual Time Hierarchy so these are all usable in Webi instead of the 1 that was defined in the BEx query

I found that it is possible if you activate the hierarchy display in the BEx query.
Then you select the virtual time hierarchy that you want to be shown
Important is to set the option "Expand to level"
Once this is done the hierarchy reflects in Webi
BUT the measures are not correctly shown if you dont have the lowest level of the hiearchy extracted as well in your webi query...

- in the webi report you should also put the Month in the query (lowest level of YeaQuaMon) otherwise the aggregation is not going properly...

You can simply use ALTER TABLE ADD.. syntax to add the columns if the tables already exist.
You can generate a single script for all tables using INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES view
You can make then of NOT NULL type and set the default value to GETDATE()
In addition you can also have a Audit Trail trigger for UPDATE to make sure Modified date gets updated correctly on each update if not passed explicitly.

SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER Failed to create the CCM_Incoming Virtual Directory

I'm hoping someone could help me with this problem. I've searched so many websites trying to resolve this issue and it seems no matter what I try I keep getting the same error message.
I've followed the steps in setting up SCCM 07 from this web site which was very nicely done! I've also followed the directions on Microsofts Tech Net website on how to configure WebDav and IIS settings.
I'm working on a Virtual Windows Server 2008 32-bit OS, SP2, SCCM 07 SP2, IIS7
Here is the message I get in the log files:

I could be completely wrong but I read somewhere that with the latest version of IIS doesn't install these user accounts. I checked to see if those accounts existed and they didn't.

- Remove the MP role from the Site Server. Watch the MPSetup.log to ensure that the removal is complete.
- Uninstall the IIS component from the OS of the Site Server.
- Reboot the Site Server.
- Run ccmdelcert.exe from the SMS Toolkit.
- Reinstall the IIS component (with BITS) on the OS of the Site Server.
- Go into the IIS manager and allow WebDav.
- Add the MP role to the Site Server. Watch the MPSetup.log to ensure that the installation completes correctly.
These steps didn't seem to work, probably because it was for SMS 2003.

I do not know how to modify any startup parameters. I am new to WebLogic and downloaded and installed the server for the first time yesterday. I used all of the defaults for the install. To start the server I am using Windows Start menu like this:
Start-->All Programs-->Oracle WebLogic-->WebLogic Server 10gR3-->Examples-->Start Examples Server
A command prompt window opens and the messages I described earlier display in the window.
These were the messages when I used another command window to call the example server domain's bin\setDomainEnv.cmd script and then execute java -version (as suggested in the earlier post):

I see now that when I go to

that there is an option to "Stop Example Server" When I choose that option another command window opens, a couple of messages scroll by, there's a pause at a "connecting to t3://localhost:7001" then a bunch of message flash by and the command window disappears. So I can't capture the output of that command.
I tried rebooting my laptop but no change in the behavior.
There is some good news. I tried starting the Medical Records Server. That command succeeded. I will see what I can learn through using the Medical Records Server and ignore the Examples Server for now.

Report workload by calculating how many versions of SharePoint list items created in a certain time period

I have a total of 66 SharePoint 2010 lists - yes, 66! - each lists contains between 1500 and 3200 list items. My employees update these various list items throughout their workday. Each update to a list item creates a new version of the list
item. On average each list item will have anywhere from 5 to 10 versions before it is done. I need to create a report that tells me how many list items they've updated in a certain time frame. I have come close but still cannot arrive at
the data I'm looking for.
This is what I have so far:
I've created a report using SQL Report Builder 2008 v3 where I've filtered it to show only items MODIFIED between, for example, Feb1 and Feb28. Of those records, I want the report to tell me how many versions were created during that time
frame. The result is one list item with 5 total versions. Versions 1.0, 2.0, & 3.0 were created on 12/12/14. The last two versions, 4.0 and 5.0, were created on 2/24/15. Therefore, the answer I'm looking for is 2 because they
created 2 versions between Feb1 and Feb28.
However I get the following results using these queries:
If I do a =Sum(Fields!owshiddenversion.Value) in the expression field I get the total versions which is 5
If I do a =Count(Fields!owshiddenversion.Value) in the expression field I get the instance which is 1
Is there a way to count ONLY the number of versions created in a time period? Is there another hidden field in SharePoint that I can use in the expression that will give me results I'm looking for?

Per my understanding that you have already get all the need fields and informaiton of the updated version of list items and now you want to calculate how many versions of SharePoint list items created in a certain time period, you can't get desired result
using sum and count function, right?
I have tried to tested on my local environment but because I am not clear what is value in the field "owshiddenversion", I assumed you have two datatype parameters (StartDate and EndDate) to help filter the report in a certain time period.
Generally, if you have add the filter correctly, it will filter the correct number's updated version in this time period, I would like you to provide details information as below to help better analysis the requirements:
Could you please provide sample data of the table.
Please provide snapshot of the report structure you have currently designed.
Please try to provide all the expression you have used.

We would like to create a master virtual hard disk and use the same for all other VM's. Can we do that ?
my requirements :
1) create 10 VM's
2) first create a master virtual hard disk with win OS and use the same to create the 10 VM's.
3) After creating the VM's change the HDD size.
              -- if i have created master virtual disk with 500GB , and use the same for creating a virtual machine. can we change the HDD size to 1TB ?
After creating the VM's ,i will change the system names and activate the windows accordingly.
Will there be any implications ,if we can/will do like this.

The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.

I guess thats not possible in in Windows.
But if u r trying it on a unix machine.
You can use Runtime class to call exec on the command
ls -l filename
and then store the result in a file . And then take out the last modified time. But you cant get created time.
Thats a clumpsy way i believe.

Identify modified date/time and name of SOURCE file

I can't seem to find a way to store/retrieve the last-modified date/time of the SOURCE file (as well as filename) used to create a PDF. I looked into the default metadata, but it seems to store only the last-modified date of the PDF.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm a little slow, but I would need more detailed specs on how to solve the problem. Is this something you have implemented yourself? If so, how?

Modifying Existing Time Dimension

Hi All,
Presently I have a Time Dimension and a Fact table which has a FK to this Dimension. The Time Dim has a level upto hourly values.
Now it's in production and I need to change the Time Dim to take on minutes 'cause some reports need minutes.
1. So what is the best way to go about this?
2. Is it better just to add another extra field which has the required date, in the fact table?
3. How can the existing data be easily ported to the new Time Dim(if it has a minute-level)?

I am wondering how you implemented the time dimension which only has a level up to hourly values. Do you mean the time dimension only has 24+1 = 25 rows? Usually the time dimension is separate from the date dimension and its lowest level values are minutes or seconds, depending on the business requirements. Therefore the time dimension should have 24X60 + 1 or 24X60X60 +1 rows.
The solution is depended on what you want.
My suggestion is as the follows:
1.     Create a new time dimension with the desired lowest level values (minutes or seconds).
2.     Create or modify the foreign key of the fact table to point the new created time dimension.
3.     Modify the ETL mappings.
4.     Option 1: If you want the new functionality available for the existing rows in the fact, you have to reload the fact no matter which approach you use.
Option 2: If you only want the new functionality available for the subsequent refresh load, you can modify the foreign-key values pointing to the old time dimension to the new time dimension, using the rule XX --> XX:00 or XX --> XX:00:00 (where XX is the hour number in the old dimension). In the subsequent refresh load, map the foreign-key values to the actual time.
Maybe other else can provide better solutions. IF so, please let me know.

Creating a modifiable form field

This field should have the ability to add a value or remove a value as well as displaying the contents of the list. I've spent time reviewing the Workflows, Forms and Views (v8) document but it's not clear how to achieve this sort of field. Is it possible?

I would add the jvm flag -showversion next to the -Xgc:pausetime flag, so you will see which JVM you're actually running.
Also, the following part of your post is a bit inconsistent, which jvm flag are you actally using?
