Hi
There are two processes for STO , that is with shipping & without shipping.
For Without Shipping there is no config required.
For STO with shipping You need to configure in
SPRO-> IMG-> Materials Management-> Purchasing-> Purchase Order-> Set up Stock Transport Order
Please go through the link on all types fo STO's

  • Issue while creating Outbound Delivery using Standard BAPI

    Hi all,
I am trying to create an outbound delivery for a Sales order using the Standard BAPI - BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.
After giving the valid inputs for Sales order no and doc no, am getting an error as "No instance of object type OutboundDelivery has been created. External reference:" But when trying to create manually there is no problem. Please suggest what may be the issue and how to correct it?
    Regards,

    Hi Vimala,
I am trying to create outbound delivery using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS & BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC. But no success. Getting "No instance of object type outbound delivery has been created" in return.
    1) Delivery Type
    2) Delivery selection date
Needs to be passed in import parameters.
Could you please tell me what are all the parameters to be passed under tables tab in RV_DELIVERY_CREATE?
    Thanks in Advance..

  • ME38 Scheduling agreement won't create a delivery due index for stock trans

    Hi,
we've had a scheduling agreement that has been working fine since 2005 that has suddenly stopped producing a delivery due index for stock transfer record ( Table VETVG ).
I cannot see any changes to the scheduling agreement which looks okay to me.  I'm not sure what else to check.
    Any ideas appreciated
    Thanks

  • Unable to create outbound delivery using transaction VL10B

    Hello,
When I am trying to create an outbound delivery from refrencing a Purchase Order using transaction VL10B,
the item is not getting selected (In the VL10B , I entered the PO number and executed but in the next screen no items are displayed ).
Please let me know the reasons for this.
Please Note : I tried to change the PO delivery date ,but still the above problem persist.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sumanta Deb

    Hello Sumanta
Please check at item level in PO under 'delivery schedule' tab, what is the material staging date. If this date is in the future, VL10B will not show any line item in due list. VL10B will only show due list from today and backdated deliveries.
Let me know if u have any more issue related to this

  • Create Outbound Delivery Using IDOC

    Hi,
Does anybody know of an IDOC that I can use to Create Outbound deliveries in SAP?
I know that I can use BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC to create the delivery, but I am hoping to do so directly using a standard (or slightly customized) IDOC.
I will have multiple SAP Sales Order numbers to reference in creating the Delivery Note.  Note that I will not already have a delivery number as this is a create, so I can't use DELVRY*.
    Kind Regards,
    Robin

Create your own and assign as processing the BAPI or a wrapper for it.
    Enjoy

  • Automatic delivery for stock transport order

    Hi,
with ECC6 you have the possiblity to automatically create the delivery out of the stock transport order (STO) using the following customizing steps in SPRO:
Materials Management ->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Set up Stock Transport Order->Activate Automatic Delivery Creation and CRM Billing
Materials Management ->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Set up Stock Transport Order->Activate Automatic Delivery Creation for PO Type and Shipping Point
We want to use a batch job that runs ME59N to autmatically convert the purchase requisitions to STO and deliveries. While testing we found out that ME59N gives a warning when the availability check in the STO is running in case there is not enough stock. But you still can create STO and delivery.
In case you only create a STO and put it in VL10B to create the delivery it will only create delivery items with the quantities that are available in warehouse. So no stock means no delivery at that time.
Is it also possible using ME59N to
    a) not create STO and delivery in case there is no stock
    b) only create STO and no delivery in case there is no stock
    Cheers
    mickey

    Hi,
Setting to error message not possible as this would cause all STOs not be convertered where no stock is available. But we need this functionality only for one specific process.
Omit faulty items we also tested and did not provide the result we need. It is related to faulty purchase requisition items.
    Cheers

  • Creating outbound delivery with reference to inbound delivery

    Dear all,
    My requirement is as follows:
I get an inbound delivery from my vendor for the our sales orders. (For n number of sales orders having same shipping point, shipto party ad sold to party, we get one inbound delivery) As of now we are using that inbound delivery and read data from LIPK and LIPS and using 'BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC' to create outbound delivery.
But, it is creating one delivery each for every sales order. What we require is to create only one outbound delivery.
I have searched in forums and tried to use VL10A, VL10C but since the delivery dates of each order are different I cant use those transactions.
    Now I have two options:
    1) Take inbound delivery as reference and create outbound delivery. Are there any FM's or BAPI's for this which will create 1 outbound for each inbound?
    2) Can we combine multiple sales orders into a single delivery when the delivery dates are different.
    Could you please help me.
    Thanks in advance,
    Aravind

    Hi Aravind,
I am facing some issues while creating Outbound delivery using the BAPI 'BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC'. I am getting the error message in return parameter as "No instance of object type OutboundDelivery has been created. External reference:"
If you are successful in creating Outbound delivery, please suggest what may be the issue for this message. Iam passing the exact sales order no and item no., quantty and unit of quantity. Also manual creation of Delivery using VL01N is successful but using the BAPI it is unsuccessful. Please suggest with your valuable points on this.

  • Delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant 311

    Dear all,
I need to create a delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant, movement 311,  i.e. just from 1 storage location to another storage location.
I tried to use VL01NO with delivery type UL.
Now my question is how can I assign a receiving plant for a customer?
I can't do the MIGO or MB1B document because I need the delivery document (packing list, forms, Texts,...).
    It's possible this option???
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
What is the item category you are assigning while doing VL01NO?  Check the schedule line category for that item category assignment.  That Schedule line category has an option for one step GI.  There you can assign 311 or create a separate item category and schedule line category and in that SC assign 311.
    Thanks
    Krish.

  • Can't create OBD for Stock transfer order

    HI gurus ,
I created an allocation table with the type 0001 standard allocation ,item category C ,and saved it .
Then I created the follow-on doc ,a PO generated for DC to vendor  ,and I have done the inbound delivery for this PO of DC .
After that ,I create the follow-on doc by allocation talbe , several STOs generated, from DC to stores , with which I want to create Outbound delivery by VL10B ,but I got  nothing at all ,not even any error message .
BTW, I have make sure the initial selection screen of the VL10B transaction is satisfied.
    any suggestion?

Remove the shipping point ,dates  and enter only PO then execute. Are you able to see your PO.Check in PO shipment tab is there and delivery schedule tab is the qty confirmed?

  • Outbound delivery through VL10B  against STO-UB

    Hi ,
I have created a STO order using document type UB. I am now trying to create outbound delivery using cal rule 2. but am unable to get any output. What could be the possible reason. Please advise.
    Regards
    Nandini

first check whether you have a shipping tab in item detail of the PO.
If it is there then VL10B should work, but then it depends whether the delivery date of your PO is covered in the date range you enter in VL10B selection (calculation rule 2 is today and tomorrow only, better enter a from and to date and remove the calc rule )

  • Create outbound delivery for in-transit stock

    hi,
the situation is that i need to create an outbound delivery for a sales order considering In-transit material let say item 20 in sales order.
this item 20 is NOT present in the plant but is in transit from another plant.
normal SAP wont allow creation of delivery if stock is not present in plant. hence we have marked a special indicator for that material.hence while doing the availability check in VL10 , it should allow me to create outbound delivery.
The issue is i need to know the place where i can manipulate this availability check so that it considers this item 20 as special case and allows the Delivery to be created.
there is a check indicator field MTVFP, but i cant find where is it comparing this field .
    thanks.

    Hi,
    Kindly check the Info Record.
whether you have maintained delivery date or not.
_Otherwise automatically pick the delivery date as from Item line delivery date
._But you can have the delivery date field in shipping tab.

  • I faile to create outbound delivery with reference to scheduling agreement by using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.

    Dear Team,
Can you please help me by providing the BAPI name for creating the outbound delivery for Scheduling Agreement in SAP SD .
I faile to create outbound delivery with reference to scheduling agreement by using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.
The system says "missing data in the BAPI interface: VBAK VBTYP E". It seems another FM should be used for scheduling agreement only.
Thank you for your help in this regard .

    Hi Raghu.
As much as I don't want to do this but just to resolve this error I created an enhancement implementation in include LV50R_CREACSV form routine dcs_check_so_vs_interface and modified VBTYP to blank to avoid that error message.
Got the tip from this thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1972059
Unless... anybody has a brighter idea (without modifying the standards)?

  • Create Outbound Delivery without Stocks

    Hello.
    Anybody with AFS experience?
When creating outbound delivery with reference to an STO, the system allows me to allocate the full quantity (60pcs), even if the available stocks is only 40pcs.
How is this possible?  My understanding, we will only be able to create the delivery for the available stocks.
    Help.

    Hi Gemma,
If there are no stock at all, then you will not be able to create delivery agianst STO. If there is partail qty available, then delivery can be created. eg. if stock is 20 kg  and in the STO if the qty is 40 kg, you will still be able to create delivery, but when stock is 0 kg, you will not be able to create delivery..........it will give an error message" An item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted."
    hope this helps............

    Anitha J
