Create P Card User Fails no attributes found

Hi All,
When creating a Pcard user using transaction BBPAT03 I enter the required details on the first screen, first name last name, email address and approver. when trying to save the user i receive the error "No attributes found for user or organizational unit X" from what i can see the attributes for the approver and organizational unit are maintained.
Or is there a specific attribute i need to maintain specifically for Pcards?
Kind regards
              Grant.

It has been indicated that as of SRM 7 Pcard users can no longer be created using transaction BBPAT03.

  • "The home folder could not be created because the network name cannot be found" error in AD users and computers

    Our home folders are stored on a non-windows NAS device and with Windows XP and 2003 we've always got the above error when creating or modifying users home folders, even when the shares were al ready created and being used.
    However this was never really a big issue as the error that popped up was really for information and finshed with a "we've modified the user properties anyway, please create the share manually" type message.
    Unfortunately now we are moving to windows 7 and 2008R2, this last part of the the message is missing and it won't accept the correct value.
    This issue may be in the way that the NAS device shares the folder, as only the username that matches the folder name can access the share.  This behaviour can't be modified.
    Is there a way to get Windows 7/2008R2 AD users and computers to behave the same way that Windows XP/2003 does , i.e. don't try and create the share just set the value in the user properties  ?
    The AD is still at 2003 level and we can still use Windows XP/2003 clients to make the changes but this is a bit of a limitation.

    The KB article is almost what we have apart from theitalic underlined
    part
    Consider the following scenario:
    You use a domain administrator account to log on to a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
    You use the Active Directory Users and Computers Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in to connect to a domain controller.
    You open the Properties dialog box of a user account.
    The user account has sole access to a shared folder path that cannot be accessed by the administrator account.
    You set the Remote Desktop Services Home Folderattribute to the shared folder path.
    NoteThis attribute is located on the
    Remote Desktop Services Profiletab.
    You click Apply or OK.
    In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
    The home folder could not be created because: The network name cannot be found.
    Note If you click Apply or OK again, no error message is returned. However, the setting is not saved.
    I think the important bit is
    The user account has sole access to a shared folder path that cannot be accessed by the administrator account.
    We manually create the shares on our NAS and then just want to enter the path in the profile tab, I suppose the question is how to we stop it trying to create the shares ?

  • Software Version 3.0 Fails-Reset Fails-Create a New User Account?

    Last night I purchased the new 3.0 software. After attempting to install my pc froze up. After about 20 minutes I no choice but to do a hard reset. I then got a message that I had to do a restore back to the factory setting-when attempting to do so-if failed as well.
    I called Support the first time who advised me that there was nothing I could and it was out of warranty (incorrect-I have a 2 year extended purchase) and to bring it to a store. Fortunately-I have one close by. I zipped over to the store only to be told there was no tech support due to the new iphone launch. Talk about great service. They finally got me someone who took it and apparatenly said he had restore it. He came out from the back and told me to uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
    I came home and the same process happened all over again.
    I had to call back support and was fortunate to get a very helpful, patient and great guy who told me I had to create a new user account 9i use Vista). Upon doing so i was able to get my touch restored.
    Why would I have to do this procedure? It took over 4 hours?

    Does anyone know what may have caused this? HELP!

    Our mac workstations (OSX 10.8) are bound to a 2008 Active Directory server.  We are attempting to use some existing dscl scripts on the mac client computer to create Active directory users.  We can successfully read and change AD attributes of an existing user with dscl, but creating new users or new attributes for an existing user gives us an error.  Here are some examples.

  • Creating a file in KM with attributes or metada

    Hi friends,
    I would like to create a document/file in KM but whith some attributes or metadata attached like time, date, contact person, telefon, department....
    I'm using the following code to upload a file, but I haven't found any Thread in this Forum about how to attach some metadata or context attributes.
         IPrivateRegistreEntradaView.IFileNodeElement fileelement = wdContext.currentFileNodeElement();
         wdContext.nodeFileNode().bind(fileelement);
         /*Make a simple type of that type*/
         IWDAttributeInfo attInfo = wdContext.nodeFileNode().getNodeInfo().getAttribute("filedata");
         ISimpleTypeModifiable type = attInfo.getModifiableSimpleType();
         /**Following is the code for uploading files**/
         /*Get an object of current Portal user */
         IWDClientUser wdClientUser = WDClientUser.getCurrentUser();
         com.sap.security.api.IUser sapUser = wdClientUser.getSAPUser();
         /*create an ep5 user from the retrieved user*/
          IUser ep5User = WPUMFactory.getUserFactory().getEP5User(sapUser);
          ResourceContext context = new ResourceContext(ep5User);
         /*Give the path to KM in the variable path */
         RID rid = RID.getRID("/documents");
         IResourceFactory factory = ResourceFactory.getInstance();
         ICollection folder = (ICollection) factory.getResource(rid,context);
          /***Using the upload element we can upload the files to a location in the server drive***/
         /*temperory location for writing */
          String location = "give the location here";
          String fileName = location + fileelement.getFilename();
          File file = new File(fileName);
         /*Create an output stream for writing to the temperory location*/
          FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(file);
          out.write(fileelement.getFiledata());
          out.close();
         /*From the temporary location read the file using an input stream*/
          FileInputStream fin = new FileInputStream(fileName);
          fin.read();
         /*Using this input stream we can write to the repository*/
          //Content content = new Content(fileelement.getFiledata(),fileelement.get)
          Content content = new Content(fin,"byte", -1);
          IResource newResource = folder.createResource(fileelement.getFilename(), null, content);
    I think the solution could be by modifying the second argument of
    IResource newResource = folder.createResource(fileelement.getFilename(), null, content);
    This argument is a "IPropertyMap" type and now takes de value "null", but I'm not sure.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks very much in advance,

    Hello Lohitha,
    Thanks your interest but that link did not help a lot.
    Roberto,
    Thanks a lot for the links, the second one really gives a guide for setting up properties in the portal.
    But I found it quite more extended that my requirements, eventhought it helps a lot, since i just would like to attach some " attributes o some simple data" to the uploding file.
    I've found an option usint IPropertyMap
    Map myMap = new HashMap();
    String DEPARTAMENT = null;
    mapeo.put(DEPARTAMENTO, "HH.RR"); //this is just a example
    IPropertyMap myProperties = new PropertyMap(myMap) {
                   public int size() {
                        // TODO Auto-generated method stub
                        return 0;
                   public boolean isEmpty() {
                        // TODO Auto-generated method stub
                        return false;
    //Here we must implement all the metodes of the interface
    //then finally call
    IResource newResource = folder.createResource(fileelement.getFilename(), myProperties , content);
    But I'm not sure it could work, I'm having technical dificulties,
    Anybody could tell us any other simple option for creating a file in KM attaching some simple attributes??
    Thanks to all.

    The SharePoint instance has the march mandatory update installed.  The sql instance we are using is an existing SQL cluster for other SharePoint poc's.
    Has anybody seen this issue before?

    I had the same problem and could not figure out what was wrong for the longest time.  I then had the idea to check in the model system database to see if there were any extra custom tables in that database.  Any tables that are in the model database
    are put into any new database when it is created.  I had some custom tables in the model database so I deleted the custom tables in the model database and deleted the failed user profile service application and its databases and then tried to recreate
    the user profile service application again and it worked with no errors

    Skip,
    I really don't know whether the below change make sense or not, but can u try it?
    Please change <skip_test action="insert"> as <skip_test action="INSERT"> .
    If it doesn't helps , is it ok for you to create a sql string and do the same as you did? If you want consider below.
    Create Data type as
    Statement  <b>0..Unbounded</b>
        TABNAM <b>1..1</b>(Sub-element of Statement)
            Action  <b>required</b> (Attribute of TABNAM)
            Access <b>1..1</b> (Sub-element of TABNAM)
    Create simple UDF with three inputs(as per your structure)
    <u>UDF</u>
    return "INSERT INTO skip_test(vendor_data1,vendor_data2,vendor_data3) Values ('john', 3/3/2007','Ford')" ;
    Map Constant([]) to Statement
    Map Constant([SQL_DML]) to Action
    Map Inputs - UDF- Access
    If you have multiple source records and you want the data to be inserted with single statement  then please follow the below logic as I suggested in the other thread.
    See below links for more info.

    Consider the logic and apply for ur strcture.
    I hope it helps you !!!!

    Dear Glen,
    Have you registered the vendor root organization in the table BBP_MKTP_INFO?
    You need to maintain for the system. We have recently configured the scenario for our client.
    The system should generate one time access details and send the link to the e-mail specified in the supplier master data.
    With the one time access details, the supplier will create an admin user in the SUS portal.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Org Structure - "No attribute found for scenario BBP"

    SRM 7.0 Extended Classic Scenario
    Hi, On the check tab for the Central Person (SRM 7.0 shows CP instead of BP in org structure) I have the message "No attribute found for scenario BBP".  This is SAP message number 5AT103
    Transaction BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE is not showing or clearing the issue.
    I have this issue with one user that I created manually, I dragged him around a lot.  Other users I created manually within the same organizational unit are fine.
    Also, we replicated part of the R3 4.7 HR Org Structure into SRM and I dragged it into my manually created SRM org structure.  All users (error on CP tab, as I mentioned) replicated over, have this error.
    I took a manually created user that was OK and dragged him into the replicated part of the org structure and he is still OK.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Matt

  • IDispatch error #19876 - LDAP Authentication Source - User Unique Name Attribute

    Hi,
    we have troubles with the User Unique Name Attribute:
    As 'cn' and 'dn' may change we want to use the EmployeeID ('workforceID') as unique identifier for our user synchronisation. This attribute exists and is also imported in the profile service. But when we add 'workforceID' to the 'User Unique Name Attribute' in the LDAP Settings of the Remote Authentication Source (LDAP AWS) the job fails and throws the error at the end of this message in the history log.
    When we remove 'workforceID' everything works fine. If we set the user unique name attribute to 'cn' or 'dn' everything works fine, too. If we enter not existing names the same error is thrown. It seems like 'workforceID' could not be read/found? What are we doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

    That's the correct place to look for the version.
    My guess at what is happening is that some of users do not have the 'workforceID' attribute and that is causing the AWS to fail when it gets to them. Unfortunately there is not great error logging around this in the 2.0 version of the LDAP AWS. In order to find out if this is indeed the case, and to see what user does not have this attribute, do a trial run with workforceID as the User Login Attribute. This case is caught and reported better.

  • Job created successfully but actually failed

    Dears,
    I created this job by HR user to refresh the Materialized View automatically every 15 minutes as below:
    BEGIN
    DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_JOB(
    JOB_NAME => 'Job1',
    JOB_TYPE => 'PLSQL_BLOCK',
    JOB_ACTION => 'EXEC DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH(''MV_employess'',''C'')',
    START_DATE => SYSTIMESTAMP,
    repeat_interval => 'freq=MINUTELY;interval=15',
    END_DATE => NULL,
    ENABLED => TRUE,
    AUTO_DROP => FALSE,
    COMMENTS => 'Refreshes Materialized View');
    END;
    /PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    The job created successfully but while querying the "DBA_SCHEDULER_JOBS" found that failure_count is 1. It means that job created successfully but actually failed.
    can you please help me ?
    Many thanks & regards,

    USER_SCHEDULER_JOB_RUN_DETAILS was very useful as i found some errors like ORA-06550 & PLS-00103 errors.
    i solved the issue and job has been run successfully.
    Many thanks for support

              Now the weird thing is this. He got this error, and the user WAS STILL added to our user lists. This doesn't happen all the time, as in the logs he created a user minutes before this one and he did not receive any errors.
              This is just something that we do not want to have happen. Does anyone have any idea of what may have caused this and what I can do to prevent this from happening again.
              I cannot find any info on this BEA-423137 error anywhere on the site and I was wondering if someone would be able to help me out.
              Thanks,
              Garret

    Nevermind everyone. I figured out that I can do a manual change and just add the user to one of the groups and everything should be ok. Something happened silently within the system that caused it.
