Create PDF in MS Publisher truncates email addresses with dots in them

When trying to create a PDF from MS Publisher 2003 using Acrobat Pro 7.0.9, any email address containing a dot (.) before the ampersand (@) has the hyperlink truncated to only the information after the dot (.). (eg. [email protected] truncates to [email protected]). NOTE: this only affects the hyperlink that is generated...the actual text in the document remains unchanged.
This only seems to happen with MS Publisher documents, and is a repeatable problem on any machine I try it on within our company. It does not happen when creating a PDF from MS Word.
Is there any way to control/fix this? Or is this a true bug that I cannot work around? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The child is not yet 13. I have tried creating their iCloud account via the
iPhone setup process *and* creating the account from Family Sharing on
my iPhone. Both processes required me to create a child account because
of the child's age.
In both cases, the account id is *forced* to be of the form [email protected]
That is, I cannot create their ID to be their email address, which is what I have
done for my wife and other children (we all have the same personal domain name
for our email addresses).
Summary:
Creating an iCloud account for 12 yo child. ID is forced to be [email protected]
not the preferred [email protected] Is that new? Any workarounds?

Bottom line... I can't find any workarounds.
So the best solution is to simply enter the wrong birthdate.
You cannot later correct the birthdate UNTIL they are over 13.

If you don't enter anything in the email field, the alert email won't go out.
If you just want to test or if you plan to use the history, you can put a non-existant email there.
The alert will fire anyway.

You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

You can of course create additional iCloud accounts, but any one device can create only three accounts - after that it can sign into accounts created on another device but not create any more (this is tied to the hardware).

That's right, all you need is the actual internet connection. If you want to use the cable company email in addition it has no effect either way on iCloud, it's up to you.
When you sign in in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud (Lion 10.7.5. minimum required, or iOS5/6) and check 'Mail' in the list, you will be asked to create an @icloud.com address, and the account will automatically be added to the Mail application and set up. You can also access your mail at http://icloud.com

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

Is there ANY way to use another email address with iCloud?

Apple let you use any email address as an Apple ID, but I really want to be able to use a non-Apple email address with my iCloud mail. Just about every email service (Gmail, Hotmail, etc) allows you to send from a third-party address (once you've done a security verification) so that you don't have to change your email address when switching services. iCloud seems to have no such option. Is there any way round this, or any way to put pressure on Apple to add this basic feature???

At this time the printer's email address will not be available for for re-use for 6 months. This is a security measure once an email has been disabled. After that time, one can go into their account and then change the customized email address for the printer.

Multiple email address with one server account

Why can't Mail have multiple email addresses on one email account? Like Thunderbird calls them Identities. As I remember, Outlook also supports this. I like Mail but it seems rather dated and clunky in this respect.
I am using mainly IMAP so maybe I should switch to Thunderbird but I do still have some old messages in pop accounts in Mail.

You can have multiple accounts, but only one "identity." Configure new mail accounts for all the different email addresses you may have. They can each have different configurations, different servers, etc. as well as be individually made active or inactive. All incoming mail will funnel into a single Inbox, but you can use rules to transfer incoming mail to separate mailboxes based on the account.
What you cannot have are distinct "personalities."
Bear in mind that Mail is intended for a single user and the vast number of single users only have one email account. I actually have four different email addresses but three of them are set to forward mail to the account I use with Mail. Mail works quite well with IMAP, POP, and Outlook mail accounts.

You can have 3 aliases (additional addresses) to set them up go to Mail>Preferences>Accounts>Edit Email Aliases

I have an ipad and an iphone. For the purposes of facetime, I would like to associated my email address with just the ipad and my cell number with just the iphone. I went to settings facetime on the iphone but it won't let me remove the email address.

Please see above. I have both an ipad and and iphoen. For the purposes of facetime, I would like to associate only my email address with the ipad and only the phone number iwht the iphobne. However, I cannot remove the email address from the iphone. So, when I get a facetime via email, it rings on both the iphone and ipad. Settings>>facetime will not let me remove the email.

I wouldn't want to say exactly, however I would imagine that it has to do with the fact you use the same Apple ID on both devices. Since Facetime was activated on the phone, with the number, and then activated on the iPad with the email and same Apple ID, they are somehow linked. I'm not sure that you can separate it without having a different Apple ID on the two devices. Otherwise you can look at this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3367 and see if that helps you any.
