Create "Rotate Picture" function for Iphone Camera?

Just wondering - why hasn't Apple added a "rotate" image function on the iphone? I receive MMS photos or send photos to others that aren't in the necessarily "right" orientation. They should really allow this function within the phone itself without having to sync to iPhoto..hmmm.
Hope someone at apple reads this suggestion.

Sort function for Iphone??

I was so glad today when I received the latest update containing the function to sort playlists only to find out it only applied to Ipad.
Why is it so hard to get this function for Iphone?

I can't believe it took so long. Kind of disrespecfulnto call it a "small change" in the change notes. If it was that small, why irritate a whole community by not applying it sooner?
Now you/they just have to work on it remembering the chosen sorting when leaving and reselecting a playlist. As of now sorting goes back to default if you leave a playlist.

Animated gif picture support for iphone 4s or iphoto app

i love it to use animated gif pictures in the imessage chat, but it is still not possible to view these pictures in the camera roll or in iphoto.
would bw great if apple would make it work to play gif pictures in original size.

It's not likely that Apple will add gif animation support into iPhoto, not even the desktop application supports it.
As far as viewing animated gifs saved in your camera roll, there has been a work around to select the gif and share it using the "Email Photo" option. The gif will play while in the email compose box and when you're done viewing it you can simply press cancel to quit the compose email mode.
Search the app store there are lots of apps that allow you create animated gifs and you may even find some that will let you view them more easily.

Is there a way on how to create different Synch settings for iPhone / iPad

My first time in this forum. I have an iPad and an iPhone. Everytime I sync my iPad and my iPhone with iTunes the sync settings are the same in both devices. So everytime I sync devices Apps that I have in my iPad show up in iPhone and vice versa. Is there a way to create different sync settings for my iphone and iPad?. Basically I do not want Apps from my iPads to be synched with iPhone and Apps that I have in my iPhone to be synched with my iPad. It is kind of annoying that everytime I synch I have to remove apps from my iPhone.
Can I also do the same for playlists?

Each device has its own set of sync preferences. What you may be seeing is the result of the Automatically sync new Apps option listed underneath the list of apps on the Apps tab. Untick this for each device next time you sync and then purchases made on one device won't automatically turn up on the other. You shoud also make sure automatic downloads are disabled in Settings > iTunes & App Stores.

Creating multiple partner function for a sale order @ header level

Hi All,
I have a requirement where in i have to create more than one partner funtion for a sale order @ header level. But the system did not allow this sort of scenario and i got the error,
Partner function ZZ can only occur 1 times in procedure TA (Sales Document Header)
the function module that was giving this error was SD_PCHECK_PARVW_COUNT_OK
here the function module checks if a partner function already exists if so it throws that error. This also updates the VBPA table where partner function is one of the key fields.
Our issue is that we have to allow the system to enable posting 2 or more partner function for the same sale order. It was also verified that the unique key was unchecked during configuration.
is there any other way of over coming this issue as we are updating the standard table. Is it possible??

I believe this is a configuration setting, based upon the details of your post. Typically, a sales order can have multiple partner functions, but usually the partner type is not duplicated at a single level (header or one item). For example, it would not be logical to have multiple ship-to partners at the header level...these would be unique at the item level, if required.
Speak to your SD functional specialist about the configuration controls for partners, if you must have more than one partner with parvw = ZZ, for the entire order (header level).

Creating Accessible PDF Forms for Iphone

Hi.
I'm creating a PDF which has multiple check box form fields, these then need to be save by the recipient and emailed back to our marketing department. The only problem is it's null & void on my Iphone (blackberry results pending) — the check boxes simply don't work, no matter how hard I bang away at the screen. Does anyone know how I can enable these to function on the Iphone? Or is it possibly the case that the Iphone doesn't yet support this technology.
Although the latter I find hard to swallow, if true will get in touch with Apple next week (if this forum proves fruitless) & post results here when they reply.

there are several iPhone apps that claim to be able to complete PDF forms. I have a similar issue, that when I see a client I need to be able fill in a form with them, so have been looking for some kind of solution. Unfortunately for me, i have yet to find one that integrates with other apps i use on iPhone, but may well be worth a look if thats any help. Search PDF forms in the App Store.

How Do I create a Modular Function for use with Event Listeners

OK I'm very new to AS3 and I'm curious as to how to get
modular functions to work in AS3.
for instance if I have this code:

Now on the stage I place 3 instances of a snowflake movie

movement along the y axis.
This is great but what if I want to use a button to control
these snowflake movie clips and I want to maintain that modular
nature? I don't really get how to do this. I created a button with
an instance name of "myButton" and I've tried this code but it is
throwing an error I don't really understand:

myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,snowfall)
Then in the function you can check which button called the
function using
properties of the event..
function snowfall(event:MouseEvent) {
trace(event)
I am not sure off the top of my head of the data available in
the "event"
but the trace will show you all the variables you can access.
As far as the amount of movement -- how is this information
set? You can
keep this in a global variable and then read it from inside
the event
handler rather than needing to pass it to the event.

Contact Picture Size for iPhone Calls (4S, iOS 6.1.1)

I recently updated to iOS 6.1, and even more recently to 6.1.1. My problem is when I receive a phone call, the contact's picture is now full screen. Previously, it was a thumbnail size picture in the top right area of the screen. I much rather prefer the thumbnail size picture. I've searched throughout the forum and the only answers I've found were to edit my contacts on the computer instead of my iPhone, but I've never had to do that before. Is there a way to change it back? If not, I guess I'll adjust but any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Creating a Distribution list for iPhone using Outlook

I use Microsoft outlook for contacts and have multiple "Distribution lists" that I send information to. The DL's are not syncing with my iPhone. I need to send group emails and am having to put each name in individually. Can I create a firewall application for iPhone 4.0?

I am looking for intercepting all TCP traffic on iPhone. I have searched on iOS Developer Library but could not find anything.

This is a feature that would really make the iPhone wonderful. I do already own a Garmin GPS and love it - the downside is the large bulk that it adds (it's almost like a (miniature) CRT: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000A5TAT2.01.SCLZZZZZZZ.jpg )
I love it but find the bulk prevents me from taking it on the go unless I know I'm going to need it ahead of time.
Being able to just pull out the iphone for the same functionality would be perfect. I love the google-maps views and think it would be perfect on a GPS (especially with the traffic/(updated) local search/satellite maps and now the ability to re-route your trip by dragging your cursor). If they added voice (text to speech) it would be perfect.
It would likely be done through Bluetooth - I know SONY has a bluetooth accessory for their UMPC that does just that. The GPS receiver is also quite inexpensive (I've seen them for $100-130). I wouldnt have a problem spending $50 more or so on the software either (and with Google maps built in, it shouldnt be too tough).

Creating Ringtones on itunes for iPhone

I have been trying to create ringtones for my iPhone from itunes.
But every time I try ti great it, it comes up with an unknow error 1156. and says that itunes cannot connect to itunes store.
Is anyone else is also facing this problem?

This worked for me...
In iTunes, right click on the song you are going to make into a ringer and select “Get Info.”
Go to the options tab and go down to the “Start Time” and “Stop Time” check boxes. Check both boxes and input the time you want your ringtone to start/stop. The ringtone has to be 30 seconds or less. Click OK when you’re done.
Right click on your newly “clipped” song and select “Convert Selection to AAC.” The song will be re-encoded using the start and stop times determined (If your menu item does not read “Convert Selection to AAC” and reads “Convert Slection to MP3″ (or some other format) please go to iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > Importing and change the “Import Using” drop down menu to “AAC Encoder”).
After the song is done encoding navigate to your iTunes Music folder, locate your song, and drag it to your desktop. After the song is on your desktop go back to iTunes and delete the clipped version from you iTunes library (It won’t delete it from your desktop, it will only remove it from iTunes).
Go back the song on your desktop and right click on your song and chose “Get info.” Go to the name and extension section and change the extension from .m4a to .m4r (or you can just change the extension right from your desktop)
After the extension is changed simply double click on the file to add it to your iTunes library under the ringtones section. Sync your phone with iTunes and you’re done!
What you need to do is turn on "View File Extensions" under your folder view options.
Then go to your desktop right-click, rename and change the .m4a to .m4r and sey yes when it asks if youre sure.
