Why can't I get a clear fuzz free image out of Fireworks? I'm

I need to generate a lightning effect and then export the frames to several PNG images.
I figured out how to do the lightning and how to export transparent PNGs, but I can't get rid of the lightning solid background (which is balck in my case).
Do you have any advice?

Toggle the transparency grid in your comp to make sure that you are creating an alpha channel.
When you render set to the output module to RGB + Alpha and Millions of Colors + and set Color to Straight.

Pull the 3 songs into GB's timeline (the big gray area), they will appear on 3 different tracks (unless they are DRM protected songs from the iTunes Store.) You can push them around, cut them, etc. When you're finished, use the "Share" menu to send them to iTunes or save them to your disk, make sure you check the "compress" box and pick mp3 as the compression method.

Best Strategy for Exporting Fireworks into Dreamweaver

I created a navigation bar in Fireworks and now I want to export it into Dreamweaver.
So I Went to Edit->Copy HTML Code (hotkey for this is Ctrl+Alt+C)
Now, what's the "best choice" from the dialog choices: AIR HTML, Dreamweaver HTML, Generic HTML, GoLive HTML, AIR XHTML, Dreamweaver XHTML, Generic XHTML or GoLive XHTML for a cross browser "professional" website?
I only tried the "Dreamweaver HTML Option" and itseemed to work nicely in my rookie opinion.
I think this technique might be at a performance cost to my graphic design or the website speed. So should I use a different strategy for exporting Fireworks to Dreamweaver? I have the CS5 package so can use any of those programs for support.

INHO, the best way to export from Fireworks to Dreamweaver is to first define your site in Dreamweaver, and then export the Fireworks document to the assets folder. Place your cursor when you want the navbar to be on your HTML page and choose Insert > Image Objects > Fireworks HTML.

Help export the graphic with transparent background and not braking the quality

hi I'd like some help please if its possible.
I've created a monitor graphic in Fireworks that looks like iMac and I would like to export it with transparent background.
the jpeg format looks great with no damage to the graphic at all but I can't have transparent background, although I changed the canvas fill to none. the png-8 format can apply transparent background, but damages the graphic.

They can be edited with any text editor. Xcode provides a graphical editor for them - make sure to use the .plist extension so Xcode will recognize it.

Script for moving playhead to last frame, then exporting jpg?

I have a lot of Flash files for which I need to export jpgs of their last frame. Could a kind soul out there guide me on how to write a command for moving the timeline's playhead to the last frame, then exporting a jpg (at Full Document Size, 72 dpi, 96% quality)?

Workflow for marking clips and then exporting them out as individual clips with audio?

I'm just starting to use Prelude. I recorded an interview for my daughter for a school project last week. The interview went well, but I want to mark as "sub-clips" all of the video interview's question/answer combos (e.g. "What is your name? My name is John Doe.") and then save them out to individual clips rather than have to manage the full size files (about 40GB in all from my Panasonic GH3, 50mbps, IPB MOV) with clip markers. I'll keep the originals as backups, but would really rather work with the individual clip files.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I would think this would be a very simple and common function. Basically, just dividing up the original video into multiple, standalone video clips with the same bit-rate, encoding, etc., but with new headers/EOF markers. Just chopping the original files up into chunks with no changes or reencoding necessary. If I can do it the way I imagine it, it should be a very quick process, at least compared to transcoding the files.

Meg The Dog's suggestion will work if you don't intend to bring in all of your media off the card. The Partial Ingest method will allow you to selectively create subclips during ingest and not transfer the full original clips.
However, you do state you plan to keep all your media - not just the parts you want to subclip. So here's my suggestion for the workflow:
1. Ingest all your media from your cameras (the entire clips - not the partial clip method)
2. Open each clip from the Prelude Project Panel and create your Subclip Markers using Prelude logging tools.
3. In the Project Panel you will find new entries will appear for each SUBCLIP Marker you add to your master clips.
4. You can organize you subclips into BINS as needed to keep track of the segments of your video
5. When you're ready to create your timeline of subclips you can either
   5a. EXPORT all the SUBCLIPS into their own files (select all subclips you want to export and use the FILE->EXPORT->MEDIA menu command)
   or
   5b. Drag-Drop your subclips into a ROUGHCUT in Prelude to order your story. Then use the SEND TO PREMIERE PRO feature to send the Rough Cut into Premiere pro where you can finish your edit. All the media will come along for the ride into Premiere Pro (including your Subclips). You can then add titles and any effects easily enough in Premiere Pro).
There are some other options here you can also try out which might be interesting. For example, you can add transitions and any additional audio tracks to your ROUGH CUT directly in Prelude and then EXPORT the Rough Cut as a final movie - and not need to move to Premiere Pro unless you have wider editing needs.

Trouble creating web exports in BPA

I´m currently trying to create a web export in BPA, for a database where I applied a specific filter and where I customized som models and attributes.
At the end of the exporting process, while "transfering attributes", the process stops with an error.
I created another database, where I applied the same filter, and the export is successful, I can view the results in Publisher.

Have you tried creating the export from scratch? Also, have you tried with any of the different profiles? I believe BPA ships with Profiles 1,2,3 which are all slightly different. Does your export fail using every profile?
I also know from bitter experience, that if you perfom an export and then change any aspect of the export profle (for instance) you are unable to update any existing exports successfully.

Sure you can, just create the document in pages as you always do on your Mac, once it is complete, drag it to the Pages section at iCloud.com on your web browser. It will then sync to and be available in the list of documents when you open pages on your iPad.

Error in transporting ODS(Error when creating the export DataSource.......)

 When I try to transport ODS from dev to quality i m getting the following error.
DataSource 8XADDR1 does not exist in source system BQ1CLNT355 of version A
Error when creating the export DataSource and dependent Objects
Error when activating ODS Object XADDR1

 XADDR1 is my ODS. BQ1CLNT355 is myself source system. When i checked the connection in the source system tab in Quality,it is ok.
Please Suggest solution,if any body encountered same problem. It is very urgent for me.

Replicate your source system in qual and then try to transport the ODS and the datamart object 8ODS ....

PDF Export: Missing Graphics

PDF Export: Missing Graphics Below is a section of code we are using to export a document as a PDF. The code will work 99% of the time, but occasionally we are getting the resulting PDF with some of the linked PDF components completely missing! The only way we have been able to reproduce this is (strangely) by continually opening and closing 'Windows Explorer' windows (We are using CS2 on XP), just as the process begins, until the final PDF is created. Our customer (who has hilighted the problem) would clearly not be doing this but we feel there is an issue here. (If the keyboard and mouse are left completely alone, the process is successful... 100% OF THE TIME!). The problem occurs both on site and at base, the linked PDF's are located on the LAN.
