Created a bug but tagging it "security" caused it to vanish
Am hoping someone here has had enxperience with this. I wrote a bug report about some breakage when NTLM authentication is passed between Firefox and Flash and since it involved an auth mechanism, tagged it security. Now Jira says "oops, you can't view this" so I will have no way of following the bug's progress as far as I can see.
Has anyone been through this? How responsive is Adobe in terms of getting to a resolution and most importantly letting you know they've found and resolved the problem?

It's not a security vuln in Flash player per se, so don't get wound up too tight about me posting that link...
Hi, Well, Adobe would have to agree there is a problem, #1. If it is (and I have not had time to read the link) then I'm sure Adobe and Mozilla would take care of one.
On your part, is it possible that you could submit it and use a different tag? Just a suggestion. I know how Java works regarding reports of bugs and takes some time, so I have no idea how Adobe handles that.

My FP-2000 creates a file but cannot write any more in this file. Which can be the cause for it?
I create files on my FP-2000 to save data .
This application functioned very well before ; but now without apparent reason, the file is created without error but the writing is impossible. The cluster of error at the exit of VI "Write File" indicates code 6: "Warning 6 occurred at an unidentified location. Possible reasons: LabVIEW: Generic file I/O error."
Which could be the reason for it?
Could my FP-2000 be damaged (flash memory)?I have almost the same problem. I'am logging data with my cFP 2020. Writing to the flash of 2020 or to the external compact flash port.
For some reason the cFP returns a Generic file I/O error after quite a while. And it's not that I'm running out of free space.

Why can't I create a new character tag in the designer?
I'm trying to create a new character tag in the designer but when I click the down arrow next to Commands, I don't get the COMMAND box that allows me to select New Format. Is this a bug or is there something else I need to do get it to respond? I'm able to add a new paragraph tag with no problem. I exited out of FrameMaker and restarted but that didn't seem to help. Yes, I rebooted but I had the same problem. I ended up entering a new name directly in the Character tag field from the Designer and was able to create it that way. Thanks -
I "updated" my iPhone4S 16gig this morning and can't get past the "Rescue Email" screen. I entered emails as well as opted out. I have gone back, but Apple ID Security insists I add security questions and mail. HELP!
Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. What caused you to get the impression that I was writing something else? furthermore this sentence - "The solution you described in your initial message isn't actually once since all the time you were operating on different account that weren't actually linked" does not make sense, I think you mis-edited it.and I need to point out that you are incorrect. Java broken some software here and there, all you'll have to do is wait for a update from the other parties. -
Creating deferred-value custom tags
I'm creating my own custom tag using the /WEB-INF/tags/ implementation
(see page: http://today.java.net/pub/a/today/2003/11/14/tagfiles.html)
I need to pass a deferred value attribute but I get an error that states "According to the TLD, the attribute is not a deferred-value but the specified value contains a #-expression.
Any ideas what I'm missing?

I would recommend you just copy the struts tld, map it to a different URI and then add your custom extension stuff to that. -

Recently I purchased iPhone 4 and also faced the same problem. Then I found the solution on net, which is:
Creating an account on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Open the App Store on your device.
Find a free application on the App Store.
Important: Before proceeding to the next step, you must purchase the free application by tapping Free.
Tap Create New Account.
You'll need to read and agree to the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions. Tap Agree located at the bottom of the page to continue.
Choose your country, then tap Done.
Enter your email address, security question, birthday, and create your password. Tap Next.
Select None as your payment option.
Continue to fill out the required email, address, and phone number fields. Tap Next.
You'll then see a screen that says "Verify your Account." Tap Done and check your email for a verification email from iTunes Store.
Open the email and click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account.
Once you tap the link, the App Store should automatically open and then prompt you to sign in with your account name and password.
Tap Sign In then when prompted and then tap Use Existing Account.
You'll then see a Congratulations screen. Tap Done to be taken to the App Store home page.

In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?! -

What do you mean by 'my iTunes id is not working' ? Of you mean that it's disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iOS deviced by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Okay, I loaded the page under a different name http://abilityaxis.com/test.html. Viewing the source code doesn't show the yellow.
For demonstration purposes I copied a small amount of the text and changed the colour of what is yellow in Dreamweaver to this pinkish colour (I tried yellow but you couldn't read it)

I am having an activity which sends the approval work item.
Now my requirement is to SUBMIT an ABAP report after creating the WI but before completion of WI.
I can not call this report before approval activity because i need to pass this WI ID to this report.
Please suggest some way to solve this.

You could create a 2-from-2 fork and put the workitem in one branch and the report in the other. Have the report branch wait 1 minute and then read the workitem id from the other branch.
What is the purpose of this report? Why does it need the workitem id?
