Created date&created by ar being modified in Record history while updating.

We will appreciate if you can advise on this issue.
While updating user responsibilities on on OEBS 11.5.10 (DB 9.2.0.5) we noticed that the created date and created by in Record history is also being modified.

Can someone help us to find a fix to solve the error Wf_local_user_roles.Creation_date Gets Updated To Sysdate When Updating UserAre you asking for unsupported solution?
As per support its a bug and the fix provided requires an upgrade.Please update the SR and ask Oracle support for a workaround. If no workaround exists, then I would not suggest any other workaround and you would need to consider upgrading and/or applying the patch which fix the issue.

It is compulsory to lose backup while upgrading from 2.1 to 2.3. Its really big big disappointing feature of the update. No care is taken by even google to restore sbf type back up by putting support software in market.

Hi Andrew,
Did you get to a solution with this one. I'm having a bit of fun ?? attempting to configure a 7110 box for windows and solaris access. My workaround has been to grant full root permissions to all and sundry for now (far from ideal).
The inheritence for windows users is the easy bit, as soon as I create files/folders over NFS or add a domain group into the ACL, I run into issues either reading the ACL from the solaris side or indeed accessing the directory.
Have you come across any documentation for solaris/windows interoperability?
Any help/advice appreciated.

All Previously Created Pages are Being Modified to Chinese Simplified (HZ)... Help Please

Hello:
For some reason, all my files when opened are being converted or encoded to Chinese Simplified Language. I have tried every option in the Preferences section and all my pages are opening as Chinese Simplified. There does not seem to be any option to make it stick or stay at UTF-8 no matter what options I choose.
Can someone tell me how to reset my DW back to factory default settings because having to change each page's properties to UTF encoding is becoming a pain in the butt.

BCS - Bringing "Created at/by" and "Modified at/by" to life

Hi,
in the standard forms you get from BCS the "created at/by" and "modified at/by" fields are visible but completely empty. My assumption is that there must be an easy way how to use them, otherwise they won't appear here. So what do I have
to do to bring them to life? I use SQL Server as a data source...

Creating (view, add, delete, modify) bsp application

Hi gurus,
Could anyone here please help. I am totally a new user in SAP and I would wish to create a small bsp application that could interact with my database in transaction se16.
Below are the requirements.
1) Allow user to view all Database Records
2) Allow user to add records into the Database
3) Allow user to delete records from the Database
4) Allow user to modify records from the Database
My table name in se16 is ZRM_PERIOD_CTRL
and has 4 fields which are : CLASS, FISCPER3, FISCYEAR, ZG_PVER
Can you please provide some direction on this?

This is the code to modify a table line.....Try and think on these lines to add or delete a table line....!!

The other option is you can remove it using jquery code. You need to do is put below code in CEWP on your list from.

Yes each aplication has 3 fact tables:
FACTWB:Real time storage, when you send data it is stored here and this is linked to the FACTWB partition in OLAP which is a ROLAP partition to enable real time updates of the data.
FAC2: Short term storage. If too many records are in the FACTWB the aplication becomes slow because these records need to be queried by the OLAP engine everytime new records are send to the database. To clean up te real time storage you can do a lite optimize, which will move the FACTWB records to the FAC2 partition. this lite optimize can be done even when users are in the system.
FACT: this is the long term storage. When your reporting is finished you can run a full optimize to clean up both FACTWB and FAC2 tables and store it in the FACT table. This contains all your historical records.
Evertime you run a reort, SAP BPC is looking at all 3 partitions and combines the data of the 3 partitions to present the correct value in your report. Remember that BPC is posting differences in the WB and not the final values. So if you have for example a record with 10 in the FAC2 partition and you send 12 to the database for that intersection, BPC will post only 2. When running a report it combines the 10 and the 2 which makes 12.
Hope this makes it more clear.

Last image placed in the document comes up as being modified constantly

I have an indesign issue.
Running CS4 (6.06) and CS5 (7.0.4)
On snow leopard 10.6.8
On a Mac Pro Quad-Core Intel Xeon
My problem is that when I have a document with images in for some reason it seems that the last image placed in the document comes up as being modified.
I do the required update everything appears up to date save the job and the same link will again show as being modified, so I get in to an infinite loop.
This happen with documents saved locally and on a server, with documents I created and documents I have picked up form other artworkers.
It is not an issue with specific link as we have seen this in many linked images, I tried to identify a trigger for this problem.
I took 4 images placed them into a document save locally in my desktop opened closed the document after each image was placed, it work fine for all 4 images on there own. I added a text box to my document saved and the last image placed then flagged are being modified in my links panel, I deleted the image that was flagged as modified from the document and saved, as soon as I saved the next image in placed order now came up as being modified (this image was not flagged and being modified when I have 4 images placed).
If I remove the text box from this document at any point then no images are flagged as modified.
Just to confirm. This in not based around one document, specific images or one mac. I didn’t have this issue with 10.5.8 and Older CS4 on the same machine.

You said this is not an issue on just one machine. Does this mean that other machines are alos showing this behavior?
The first thing to try for any flakiness like this is: Replace Your Preferences
That said, this sounds like it coud be some sort of conflict. Are you running any third-party plugins?

Calendar meetings changing times after being modified

I have only a couple clients out of about 50 who have this issue.
I have a user (A) who is a delegate of user (B).
User A created a meeting on Alex's calendar using outlook client 2010. Meeting is for Alex and Steve.
On 4/10/15 9:30-10:30 - user A moved the meeting to 4/23/15 9:15.
It was verified that the meeting modification shown up on the Outlook 2010 client for Alex.
The following day, the meeting reverted back to 4/10/15 9:30-10:30 and it appears as if it reverted back at the original time of 9:30.
The meeting that reverted on Alex's calendar did not have any updated notes either, however, Steve's Calendar in OWA/ user's A delegate view had the correct meeting date with the updated notes.
User A seems to have several similar issues of meetings reverting back after being modified but this seems random. It doesn't always happen and user A schedule many meetings per day.
Things I have done:
Rebuilt OST files for all users, Created a new Outlook Profile for all users, reinstalled Outlook 2010 on all desktops, enabled the Calendar Repair Assistant for all users. Made sure all software has been updated to the most current updates as well as windows.
Anything else that may be done or that can figure out why the 1 user who is a delegate of Alex and Steve seems to be the only person who has issues with Calendar meetings?

Before going further, I'd like to ask the following questions to narrow down the issue:
1. Are the affected users connecting to their Mailboxes from multiple clients?
2. If Alex check the meeting date via OWA, is there the same issue?
In addition, base on my research, I recommend you try the following methods and check if any helps:
1. Don't use Exchange cache mode
2. Let the user use a single client to connect his mailbox
3. Try to move these affected mailboxes to another database

When we create Production Order in R/3 the time is calculated by routing but it is extended at SetUp machine time. It is not correct?. SetUp imachines time used only for first Production Order for the same product and it is plan manually, for others Production Order we need calculate time for production without SetUp machine time being pick up to compute finish time. how could we achieve this? only those Machine time will be check.

Data object is not being populated in BAM

We are putting the data in JMS Queue. We have created an EMS in BAM. It is picking the data from JMS Queue, but the data object is not being populated. The request we are using here is given below:
