Created doc in CS5 trial, and can't open it in CS4. Help please?!?

I created a brochure for a client in CS5 using the trial, which is now expired. I can't open it in CS4 for all of the CS5 plug-ins. Any tips?!

No it is not. iPhones, like all cell phones are not locked to countries. They are locked to carriers.
Only the carrier to whom the device is locked can unlock it. Contact the carrier. -

I can't open PRE 9! HELP PLEASE!!!!

I don't know what to do anymore, my PRE 9 won't open any project files, any new files. And now and then it pops up a message saying it can¨t open the file so now it has to force close.
I've tried to system restore to a day where it worked, uninstalled it 6 times now and updated it to 9.01 but non of these has worked so I don't know what to do now.•What operating system?

I tried to reopen the file and then start a brand new one. When those didn’t work i uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but that did work for like a day and then it stopped working.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List. -
I can't create mi Apple ID and can't connect into iTunes Store HELP PLEASE NEW USER
Hi, im new with this. I just got a new MacBook Pro 13" with IOs X Lion. Im having a big trouble with my apple ID. I cant create an ID. first was the credit card security code. Somebody told me to follow the instructions in this link to solve the problem ( iTunes Store: My credit card's security code or zip code does not match my bank's records ) but i cant even connect to Itunes Store. PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP URGENT!!
P.D: I created an ID on apple page but it seems that doesnt work for nothing. I tried using that ID on both (Itunes an App Store) but doesnt work.First and foremost, I agree with gdgmacguy about using the support link. That is most likely your best bet. But, I have read posts from other users that had issues with their Apple ID that you must enter your address exactly like it appears on you credit card statement. Don't abbreviate "street" or "road" - things like that - unless that matches your statement exactly. Have you moved and maybe not changed your address on your credit card statement yet...??
I am not saying that is the reason you can't create the ID, but it has been an issue for some. You could try what I suggest, but the support link is the best way to go if you can't get it accomplished on your own.

You can create extra toolbars to get extra space via View > Toolbars > Customize<br />
You have to put something on a toolbar (drag a Space item onto it) before closing the Customize window because empty toolbars are automatically removed.

Exported Files are ending up too Small and can't figure out why? Help please!
I'm Exporting files with no constraints - film scans (jpgs) starting at 10-12MB are exporting to 2MB-3MB files. RAW images are also exporting that small. I've tried at 240dpi and 300dpi with the same results. The original film scan jpgs are 8'x12" at 300dpi and they're ending up closer to 5"x8". Any suggestions?

You can't set smart preview size or quality (without a plugin) - it's fixed in Lightroom (e.g. size is 2560-).
The size/quality preference is for the "regular" (non-smart) previews.

Can't open MTS files (AVCHD) - help please
I'm having trouble understanding a good workflow for my Canon HF S10 AVCHD camera. This stores files in the standard HD file structure (AVCHD -> BDMV -> STREAM), in MTS files.
I always shoot in 24p and need to do pulldown removal all the time. While FCP 7 allows you to access MTS files (as long as you keep them in their original directory structure) in the Log and Transfer window and ingest them just fine, there's no option there to do the pulldown removal there. Furthermore, Compressor will not allow me to open MTS files (whether or not they're in their original directory structure) to perform the pulldown removal I need.
As far as I've seen, the only thing I can do is to Log and Transfer first into ProRes, then go to Compressor and do the pulldown removal on those ingested files, writing back again to ProRes. But that's the old "making a copy of a copy", which I'd think would degrade the quality.
I'd like to open the MTS files and convert them straight to ProRes while simultaneously doing the pulldown removal so I can avoid recompressing several times and degrading the quality.
Ideas?Yes, it's annoying that in Log and Transfer it won't remove the pulldown, but here's the workaround.
Log and Transfer as usual. Then create a droplet using Compressor that will remove telecine and transcode into your intermediate codec of choice (ProRes 422 or ProRes 422 LT would be my suggestions). Drag your original files onto the droplet and let it transcode them.
VoltaicHD is a good program for doing this in one step, but it is really slow in my experience. I find it faster to do it in two steps using FCP and Compressor than doing it in one step using Voltaic. -
Documents is on in settings for icloud on both devises. Doc in icloud. I created them on the mac and can see them. I cannot open them in pages on ipad. Docs I create on ipad can be sen on icloud and can be opened on my Mac. Anyone have any ideas?
SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

when I open a music file from a source other than apple, does itunes create it's own file and can I then delete the original mp3?
If you use iTunes' default settings then when you add a file to iTunes it places a copy of the file in the iTunes media folder and it leaves the original in place. The exception is when you drag it to the Automatically Add To iTunes folder.
It does not convert the file. You can delete the original if you wish. -
My Mail programme appears to have locked up. It's showing as open in my doc but in reality I can't open it and it won't quit. If I try to shut the machine down it tells me that I need to quit Mail but I can't! Any hints please?

just got a Nikon D610 and CS5 for Mac can't open the images -- message says installed version of camera raw doesn't support the camera. Downloaded the Raw 6.2 update for Mac, but installation failed. Now what?
The D610 didn't get out-of-the-box RAW support until Photoshop CC.
You can either upgrade to CC or use the DNG Converter to convert and open your DNGs in CS5. -

eg What version of Pages you are using?
Can you just open Pages on its own?
The file extension and origin of the word doc
What message does the computer pop up when it fails to open?
Otherwise it is all just guesswork.
