Creating a bouncing logo

Complete newbie here.  If anyone could give me a tip on how to create a bouncing logo, it would be appreciated.  I'm looking to have a logo drop from the top of the frame and bounce 3-4 times before settling.  Thanks!

You can do a position animation and adjust the curve using keyframe editor.Or you can use  behavior called Oscillate. It animates a parameter by cycling it between two values. In the oscillate position parameters, set Wave Shape to Sine and enable Half Range to create a bouncing effect. If you want  to “decay”
the animation over time, just animate the amplitude value.

In Aperture, how can I create a repeating logo pattern/background?  I will then use this pattern/background with other editing software (ps6 CC).

What kind of repeating pattern do you want? If you just need to tile an image you could print it to pdf and save the pdf as jpeg to a folder, for example:
Or arrange multiple copies of your image on a Light Table and print the Light Table to pdf as jpg.

There is a thread here somewhere about the new logo - Thayer describes the font selection (from memory), but I don't recall any detail about the icons themselves.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive?  What system and iWeb versions do you have?
    Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your

3 - launch iWeb and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and later the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

  • How is this effect created? budweiser logo

hey everyone, anyone know how this bevel is created in illustrator?
    larger image at this link:

    cheers

It's my understanding that the OP only wanted to know how the bevel in the lettering, not the entire logo, was created.
Here's a fairly simple method for making a Faux Bevel.
    1. Path outlines. If using type converted to outlines, use Pathfinder>Unite to create compound path.
    2. You'll be using at least four copies of these compound paths, so duplicate paths.
    3. Center layer: fill with horizontal gray/white linear gradient.
    4. Top layer: Give a new compound path white fill, offset to left, mask with compound path of the lettering in its original position.
    5. Note the the 'bevels' may not look clean, especially on fonts with connecting lines. Erase or delete unwanted areas.
    6. Bottom layer: Apply gold stroke of desired width on a new set of outlines. Object>Path>Outline stroke. Fill with gold gradient.
    7. Turn on all layers.
    Your Faux Bevel is complete.

  • Need help creating "rubber stamp" logo

I would like to create what should look like a rubber stamp, to place inside an Indesign document. Something like this (drawn very roughly in Photoshop):
However, although I have Illustrator CS4 (Macintosh version) I've never used it and could need some pointers. I use Photoshop a lot however, so if it's remotely similar it may not be that hard. Basically I want to know:
    - how to create two circles, one inside the other aligned perfectly
    - how to place text in between the two circles, following the curves
    - how to place text in the middle circle
    - how to make the whole logo "worn" as in "not evenly filled with ink", just like a real rubber stamp would look like on paper.
If the latter isn't possible in Illustrator I can easily do it in Photoshop when bitmapped, but if I could create everything in vector graphics the advantage would be a resizeable logo without any loss.

Thanks for all the suggestions and help!
I've now managed to create my "rubber stamp", but couldn't figure out how to get the "worn" effect.
The link posted above is one solution of course (haven't tried it, but understand the principle), however I personally don't think that makes it look realistic enough. So I exported the image into Photoshop, added a mask and painted through with very low opacity to let the background through here and there in varying densities.
That took care of the uneven ink and worn/damaged sections of the rubber stamp.
But upon importing the Photoshop file into my Indesign document I found out that my rubber stamp is a little too small, so now I need to import the Illustrator file into Photoshop again, resize it a little bigger, then apply the mask/editing again from scratch
I guess there's a better way to do this, only I haven't found out how yet. Suggestions?

  • Bouncing logo icon in dock, but will not launch

For some unknown reason, both my Photoshop and Indesign CS3 programs (running on my PowerBook Titanium) will not launch. Both logo icons bounce in the dock for a few seconds, then stop without any windows diplaying...
Anone here experience the same issue?... or is this just a clever way of Adobe pushing you toward yet another upgrade?
    Thanks!

Have you tried resetting the program preferences? Hold down Ctrl+Option+Shift+Command as you launch InDesign. It's a long shot, I guess.

  • Need help creating a 3d logo in AE CS6

    Hello,
My name is Stephanie and I'm trying to make a logo for a friend of mine in After Effects CS6. I have only been using this program for about a month so I still do not know everything about it, but I'm slowly learning more and more.
Anyways, I finished creating the logo in Photoshop, saved it both as a jpg and as a psd file. I looked up some tutorials on how to make text 3d in AE but I've found that since it is not a text object anymore that under "Geometry Options" there is no option to bevel or extrude, as all of the tutorials I looked at used this method.
Is there a way that I can take this basic black wording over a white background (which I will eventually make transparent) and make it 3d with depth?
I apologize if this is not the right section to ask this but I haven't used these forums too much. Also I said, I tried looking around for the answer but I don't want to spend hours looking if it cannot be done.
    Thank you!

  • Problems with option-shift-k what should create the Apple logo

Using the above mentioned keyboard shortcut I used to be able to create the original Apple logo in any text application. Since a few days I have lost this capability and I don't know in which font this logo lives. Apple Hotline couldn't fix the problem. Any suggestions?
How can I reinstall all original fonts from the installation DVD. I am using 10.4.9 on a MBP but original installation DVD is 10.4.8

    Hi.
Your Input Source must have been somehow switched from U.S. to U.S. Extended. Check for it in International.
In Character Palette you'll find  in Glyph Catalog (View Glyph), font Lucida Grande.

  • Re creating a tricky logo

I have been asked to re-create this logo in a high resolution and am having lots of trouble! Does any one have any suggestions? I have searched for the font and can't find it, so I have traced the big letters in illustrator and transferred them over but it just isn't as neat as a font and I'm not happy with it. I have played with bevelled edges, gradients and noise. It is a little hard to see but there is actually a rim around each letter that is also embossed.
PLEASE HELP, It is driving me insane!

    Impressive, isn't it?
You can even ask humans in a forum of font freaks: http://www.dafont.com/fr/forum/?f=1 or : http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/forum/
Or use another automated service: http://www.identifont.com/identify.html where you need to input information about your font... But it is often to find a matching font to create a design.

    This is my blog:ehowitsdone.blogspot.com
Visit my blog and i have used a temporary logo there named How To?
Please help me make it better, like adding pictures to the logo.
First you need to understand the niche of my blog and then recommend me how i can edit the logo, you know like add a photo of hammer so it gives a realistic look and would make my blog look better and people would be able to understand the purpose of my blog easily.

I don't have a blog, but if I did I think everyone should visit it to see supercalifragilisticexpialidocious design and uber-stupendous-megatastic logos.
No actual content, mind you, but the logo would be good.
