Creating a contractor custom form and workflow associated with it OIM11g

we are using OIM 11.1.1.5 we need to implement a scenario where, A Manager or user in admin role creates the contractor using customized form and manager gets the contractor gets the creadentials of contractor and then contractor logs in OIM self-service console to request for AD account.
what are the steps that need to be performed to execute this

I have created the request template and HR user who has HR admin role can log-in and access the request tab and request for others.
how can i achieve the following one
now the user who has been created by above HR user. the User should be able to log-in and access a link(custom) and (should be able to access only self-service) on request tab like "Request AD Account" this should take him to new form where his profile attributes are pre-populated and a Notes section where he will enter justification then submits the request. the request goes to his manager for approval and once he approves he will be provisioned into AD

  • Text Items And Push Buttons Created on a customized form does not appear.

    Hi,
    I created a custom form and attached it to ebs. The form opens without any error.
    I had 3 text items and 2 push buttons with proper property class applied to them. But I am only able to see the prompt of the first text item. All the other widgets are not visible. What could be the possible cause for this.

    How are you running the form? Have you deployed it properly and attached it to a menu/form function and are viewing it within EBS?
    Did you open the TEMPLATE.fmb form and save a copy of it as the starting point for your custom form?

  • Can we enable licensing facility for our customized forms and report...?

    We have a product and we frequently used to send customized forms and reports to our customers through the shipment team after QC certified. But some of the customized forms and reports have sent to the customers without their knowledge from the development team, it is creating a big problem in the customer site.
    We would like to know that is there any facilities to verify that this shipment has come from through proper channel or not if not they should not open. Is there any license kind of thing that we can do..? If I run some exe file which will check that and let the customer to use it..?
    If any one have the knowledge about this kindly share with us. any kind of information regarding this can be appreciated.

    So you want the customer to be able to check if the forms where shipped through the proper department from your company?
    First thing that comes to my mind is to pack all the Forms in a JAR file (which is basically a ZIP file) and sign the JAR file with the jarsigner tool. To sign the JAR you need access to the private key that is in a keystore that's only available to this single department. The customer can verify if the JAR was signed with a proper certificate.
    You could issue your own certificate to do this but requires the user to also first import this certificate so it is trusted. You could also buy a commercial certificate from a vendor like Verisign but there are costs involved.
    Just google for jarsigner and keytool to get the idea.

    we are having 11.1.0.7 database and 12.1.1 E-business suite with 10.1.2.3 forms

    while accessing supplier/customer forms and payment manager templates and this gets resolved after bouncing the application. the current instance is a staging one and this will be replicated to production so please help or suggest any solution or work around

    There should be a link on the error page for further details about the error. Can you post the contents of that error link page ?
    Pl also check the Apache logs for any errors - see MOS Doc 419839.1 (How to enable Apache, OC4J and OPMN logging in Oracle Applications R12) for name and location of the Apache log files.

    Im trying to connect to my azure subscription via powershell on my machine but keep getting the following error when i run a command:

    The steps i have taken so far are:
    1. get settings file
    Get-AzurePublishSettingsFile
    2. Import settings file

    OK. That won't work in Azure Automation though, as mentioned above. OrgID (recommended) or cert-based auth will need to be used. PublishSettings file won't work.

    In a previous issue, I have asked the interrelationship between Workspace and Contentspace. I learned a lot, and I'm very appreciate the kindly answer from Hodmi and Jasmin. And this time, I want to ask something about Workbench and Contentspace.
    As a part of presentation for a corporate client, I am trying to make a demonstration model. I 've created a PDF form and an Approval-and-Rejection workflow by Workbench. And I want to upload the form and the workflow to the Contentspace.
    In my imagination, I would make a button in the form, and then when I click the button, the form will be sent from the client side to the server side. As a result, it will appear on the space which I specified in Contentspace.
    About the workflow, I guess the Contentspace and Workbench may have some common place about Process Management and there is some transportation mechanism or something else between them. So by changing some configuration the workflow could be added into Contentspace.
    It is totally selfish imagination, but if it is possible, I think my corporate client will be more interesting about Adobe Livecycle.

    Let's me just try to answer to question in several pieces.

    You can definitily save the form in content space. I'm not sure what you mean about the workflow.

    This is also possible.

    You need to use the ContentSpace service. The Content Space service gives you a bunch operation like storeContent, retrieveContent, etc. You can use that service in Workbench, or call it directly using SOAP or REST.
    So to summarize, you can use the Content Space service to interact with content space to get and store your forms for you workflow.

    I want to know the logical flow among jsps,UserForms and workflows in IDM.
    This may appear as a silly quest. But I want to know how exctly the workflows are getting excuted when we click the buttons on the forms....
    For eg While creating the user after gving the user details in Tabbed User form when we click on save how it is calling Create User Workflow....
    where is the link and how its happening.....

    I dont think, there is any xml codes in any of the forms for calling workflow. One needs to render a form for any workflow. Whenever you hit new User , the create user workflow gets initiated and the form and the default form for create user is Tabbed User Form. activities and forms are mapped according to the authorisation level. If you create any Admin role, then we need to specify a form for the admin's capabilities. I guess for configurator , to create a a new user, the form has to be Tabbed User Form by default. For a custom Lanch user process, one needs to include a form along with the workflow. We can do that. Thats what I know till date.

  • Error while Creating user using Custome form

    Hi,
    I created a custom form same as create user form
    updated in xlDefaultAdmin.properties,xlWebAdmin_en_US.properties,struts-config.xml
    on this custom every thing is working fine but when on submit(Create User) it gives me below error
    in Admin Console : You do not have permissions to perform this operation.
    in App server log: maoRejections:You do not have permission to insert this object.

    My response is based on the following assumptions:
    Your custom form is similar to that of CreateUser form in all manners. The logic at the back-end has been written by you as well. As soon as you get all the values you call the createUser API of OIM to create the user. You have wriiten your custom action classes as well.
    The insert error may be due to the reason that the user which you are using to create the user doesn't have sufficient permissions. In other words, if this is done through Java code then while instaniating the API, the user used must be missing these permissions.
    If the error is due to this permission for users then we can give these additional permissions to individual users, if in case its not and you have some other scenario then just give me more details, probably I can help you for it.

  • Actobat X Pro - Creating a fill-in form and i want it to email back to me

    I have created a fill-in form in Adobe X Pro (Trial version) and would like to set up a 'Submit' button that once all info is filled out, the customer can then press and this emails the PDF back to me.
    How do i do this? I am sure there are other threads already going about this but i cant understand a word in any of them. So please if you reply it needs to be as simple as possible.

    Thank you for your help.
    The reason i have gone for the trial version is that I am part of a big company that would probably not authorise me to purchase the full product or even if they did, it would take months for it to get loaded onto my computer etc. This is why i have chosen to try this through the trial version.
    I will try again with what you've suggested below. I had a play around with it last night and the FDF file works, although i would rather the PDF. I will see what i come up with.

  • InfoPath Forms and Workflows

    I have a question regarding InfoPath Form and associated Workflows. This is a timesheet application form where employee fills time sheets and send it to his manager for approval. 
    I have completed the InfoPath Form with 2 views: (1) Employee completes the timesheet per week. (2) The time sheet part is grayed out and there is a comments section for his manager.
    I have deployed this to sharepoint to a form library and started a Simple Approval based workflow at the Form Library Settings. So far so good.
    But in the Approval workflow; can i code logic to identify the staff's manager ? It seems that I have to define a single account from SP Groups to where the workflow will be always routed to. 
    Secondly how do I associate the View 2 to the manager for comments and approval.
    Any pointers on the above will be very useful in my implementation.
