Any suggestions on creating a handheld look in post?

If you have After Effects, you could take a faked handheld shot, apply Motion Stabilize to it and use an expression to extract the data to apply to your steady shot.
You will need to crop the shot or scale it up to cover the black edges you get once you start moving the frame around.

Website created with iWeb looks different in IE and Firefox than Safari-why

So I spent a few hours working on my Home and About Us page. Then, while browsing this forum, I started seeing posts about how sites done with iWeb might not look good in IE and/or Firefox. I decided to test out my work. I zipped up my site files and emailed them to myself. I went to my Dell desktop and downloaded the files to that computer. I opened up the home page in Firefox first. The site seemed to look ok, and both the home and about us page links showed up and were functional (i.e. I was able to browse back and forth between the two pages). However, I had some bullet points on the about us page that had a green border around them. This rendered fine in Safari on my Mac, but in Firefox, the bottom line of the box was not connected! Why?
After viewing in IE, I was depressed. The site didn't look at all like it should have. Not only that, but I couldn't navigate between the pages, since the links for home and about us were not at the top. What can I do to make sure that a site I create with iWeb looks good in Safari, IE, and Mozilla Firefox?

I can't login to my account. I had to create a new acct to post this.

I have created my second new account today in order to post this. I wanted to post a question earlier, but when I tried to sign in Firefox told me the password I entered was wrong. It was not wrong. I created a new account and posted my question. Then to see if I could figure out what was wrong with my original account, I signed out of my new account and tried to sign in on my original account. No luck.
So then I tried to sign in to my new account. Same response: wrong password. I tried resetting my password four times and each time, after resetting it and being presented with the sign in page again, I got the same incorrect password response.
To post this I created another new account. To test whether this was related to the fact than I am now using Firefox 5, I tried to sign in with IE to both of my other accounts. No luck, same problem both times.

I figured it out. The short explanation is this: Use different email addresses when you set up accounts, and for the password reset, use that same email address. Otherwise, Firefox will connect the reset with either nothing, or with a different account that had that email address assigned to it.

I've heard about a Skin look and feel, but I've never used it. Maybe you should look into that. It would probably be the easiest way to create a custom look and feel, but you won't automatically be able to use Aqua unless you're on a Mac. Sorry.

This part is just the place in the program where the error occured, but why the error occured is mentioned earlier in the dump.
Maybe you have a too big number in the field and hence a field overflow, maybe you have a character instead of a number in the field.
Read the dump from the beginning. if you dont know how to read a dump,then try to get help from any local Abaper.

Creating a border in a poster

I want to create a border for a poster I'm making. I put a white rectangle on the poster. I tried to put another rectangle, smaller, in the center to create a transparent area so that just the "border" remained. I can't seem to get the inner rectangle to turn transparent.

Well you want the layer to be transparent. Double click on the background name, a dialog will appear m saying new layer. Rename it frame
Draw the marquis for the opening rectangle witht he marquis tool
Hit delete
you will now see the transparency grid.
Now you can place as many images on different layers below it so you can reposition them t your liking.
You can turn one on at a time.
I assume you want to use more than one image there are other ways if you want different size borders for different sizes images.

Compressor 3: Compressing to M2V for a DVD creates a shaky look to my entire video.

This is a Compressor 3 issue I'm trying to compress a M2V for a DVD but it keeps creating a shaky look to my entire video. I have done this multiple times, but what is new to this FCP project is text zooming in, Canon 7D footage, and light rays layered on top of my video and text. I have looked up this issue on creative cow with no luck. I've tried single pass and double pass, still leaves me with shaky footage. I need this project to be done for a client and I can't explain why it isn't working.

Do this in two passes. First resize your video from HD to SD. Then import your SD into compressor. All DVD footage is 720x480 for NTSC and 720x576 for PAL. You want to create anamorphic SD video to handle the widescreen. One of the easiest ways to debug your DVDs is to rip them back before burning them to disk. In DVD Studio Pro use the format option instead of burn. This will create a VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive which you can then read using software. Rip the video back from the DVD with DVDxDV or another professional DVD ripper that can output video in Quicktime ProRes. Import your video into Final Cut Pro, and play it back. When you get the encoding right, go ahead and burn the DVD in DVD SP.

What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand? I assume those black lines are around photos or objects that have had a frame or drop shadow added to it, right? If so that's a known issue.
There's a workaround for that in this tutorial: #7 - Converting Photos w/Frames, Drop Shadows and/or Reflections into a Single Image File. That should get rid of those black lines/boxes.

Template File created in DreamWeaver Looks ok. But when a new file created with this template shows disordered

I created a template file in DreamWeaver cs5. It is OK. and it looks like this, with Pink box showing the editable region. http://smsoftsolutions.com/downloads/test.jpg
Now the problem is, when I create a NEW html file from this Template, in the DESIGN view, the template contents are shown in a flowing mode. ie. Absolutely positioned DIVs are showing in a disorderly way, as shown in this screenshot. http://smsoftsolutions.com/downloads/test2.jpg
When I preview it in browser, it is showing as I expect. But only in the design mode, it is showing in a relatively positioned way.
Can anyone tell me what I should do in the dreamweaver settings, to show the layout in a WYSIWYG way?

How to create the plastic look in an image

Hi there, I have seen so many times images that seem to look
like plastic or they look as if the item is real. it is because it
has a shadow behind it and the surface seems to look slightly
curved giving it that 2d 3d effect.
I understand how to do the background, which is just a
shadow, but not the face.

Can anyone let me know if this can be done in Fireworks and
if so what is it called?

Sample coding for creating a function moudle to post the Idoc

I have created the message type , idoc type and the segment type.
For creating an idoc i have used the Function module IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB.
Now for posting the idoc, i need to create the function module, the main aim is to insert record to the Ztable, what should be my input and the output parameters,
Can u provide the sample coding for it

As you are dealing with a IDOC, the parameters will have to be standard as any other IDOC processing function module. For example take a look at IDOC_INPUT_BANK_CREATE.
You will have to read the data exactly the way the standard code does and the only change will be once you read the data how do you want to handle the data.

Invoice created with out GR and posted after GR matches

can you help any body regarding this issue, where i need to do settings and all.
GE Water has the ability to enter invoices even if there is no goods receipt in SAP. Invoice is entered and "R" block is placed on the document in SAP. MRBR is run nightly to look at "R" blocks and see if they can be matched with goods receipt. If match is found SAP removes "R" block and invoice pays. If no match found, invoice still sits in SAP unpaid. Need SAP to be configured to do this in GE Energy. Currently if no goods receipt is found for an error message is received that no document exists. On blanket PO's blank lines are shown and invoice can not be entered without creating GRIR issues and payments not posting to the correct accounts

This essentially shoud be put in MRBR only by creating ZMRBR probabaly
You need ABAP development to put your desired logic
You are entering invoice before GR it means that you are doing PO based invoice verification
Then at the time of releasing blocked invoices you want system to Check the goods receipt
and provide you the message and or work further as directed
Please discuss with technical ABAP team

Hi Moni,
If I look at your program flow, it is as follows:
1. Open Job.
2. Submit Z program via job and create spool.
3. Close job.
4. Get job runtime info.
5. select from tbtcp for spool id.
6. call function to convert the spool to PDF.
I see some problems in your code. First at step 4. Get job runtime does not return you the status of the job that you just submitted. You need to use the function module BP_JOB_STATUS_GET to the status of your job. Only if it is 'F', you can go to step 5.
Other problem is in step 5 where even if you don't get a spool id, you are proceeding with the step 6. I think you are not getting a spool id and that is the reason why you are getting that error message with spool id as 0.
Change your flow as follows.
1. Open Job.
2. Submit Z program via job and create spool.
3. Close job.
4. DO.
     call function BP_JOB_STATUS_GET.
     IF job status = 'F'.
*-- job has finished
       EXIT.
     ENDIF.
   ENDDO.
5. select from tbtcp for spool id.
6. call function to convert the spool to PDF.
Also, make note of Anand's comment about the variable ZTEST and the job name 'ZTEST'.

How do I create an e-mail graphic poster that can be sent out?

I need to create an e-mail poster advertisement for a
recreation area that
will be sent out to shareholders. I need to do this for work.
Does anyone
have any suggestions on how I would do this? Would I create
the web page and
then send the web page in an e-mail. I need it to show up
directly, not
through an attachment. Also, once created, this will be sent
out to
shareholders. How do I save this file to disk in what format
so that it can
be sent out by my boss. I am doing this as an
extra-curricular activity for
work. Any suggestions would be helpful.

You can open the web page in a browser, select all, copy and
paste into Outlook. That works. i don't know about other email
progs.
