Creating a hierarchy in SAP DIR.

Hello,
I want to create a hierarchy for some of our dir. Does it exist a particular transaction for that? In CV02N, the superior hierarchy document area is already fiiled by the number of the document for which I need to declare a superior document. And my hierarchy button is in a grey colour. Thank you for any advice.

Tha fact that a lower document can only have 1 superior document is in my view a limitation that SAP have to enhance. Because I frequently have certain assembly documents in which I need to define for the same dir several superior dir.
As you can see with my 2 dir, the dir 20000010402 is a lower dir for both dir 20000009797 and 20000010404.

How to create BP hierarchy in CRM 5.0

Hi All,
We are planning to create customer hierarchy in our SAP CRM 5.0 system. In other words, we want to have different departments within a company to be identified as a BP while the company itself is also a BP. How to implement this in CRM?

Hi Leon,
Creating a BP group (customer) hierarchy in CRM system is very easy. Please refer to the following very good help document : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/12/cfea3b31aac554e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
But in CRM 5.0 every time you create a hierarchy node and saves it, then hierarchy automatically get disappears. You need to implement the following notes in your system to get rid of this problem : 958122, 960384 and 956066

Create XML transformation in SAP R/3 4.7

Hi Experts,
Kindly let me know the transaction for creating xml transformation in sap r/3 4.7, if there is any.
Though i could not find anything through tstc or se93.
Is there any other way of creating xml transformation in r/3 4.7. There is a tcode STRANS in ecc6.0 but not in 4.7.
Also, please help me resolving this issue of converting abap data to xml file: -

Product : Errors in attribute hierarchy structure SAP BCA 000164

Hi All ,
When ever i create /Display /Change Product in
Financial Supply Chain Management --> In House Cash > Master Data>Product Definition--> Product --> Create /Change/Display
system through below mentioned error .
I tryed to resolve problem as per below mentioned program through se38 , but still getting same error

Message no. FIPR217
System Response
An error was found in the attribute hierarchy.
In some cases, it is not possible to display the attribute hierarchy without having to correct the errors first.
Procedure
It is recommended that you run the FIPR_CLEAN_ATTRIBUTES (by using transaction SE38). This report can recognize errors, and it attempts to correct them automatically.
Caution: This report can change your table entries permanently.
Once this report has run, you need to check the hierarchy structure, and make any necessary changes.

Hi,
the realignment (KEND) does not change the line item tables (CE1***, CE2***), thats why they remain unchanged.
The line items in CE1**** can not be changed. If you really want to have new line items (with the new prod. hierarchy) try in test-client if the use of report RKECADL1 and the new transfer to CO-PA for the deleted line items (KE4S, KE4SFI,...) can help you (SAPNET-note 69370 for details).
CE2**** + SQL-error: As per now, I don't have an idea how to deal with that cases.

Product Group Hierarchy in SAP BI for 0SD_MP03

Hello Guru,
I am working on BI 7.0. I have activated Sales Infocubes, DSO and Multiprovider on BI side. I am working on 0SD_MP03 multiprovider. I have a field called 0PROD_HIER which represents Product Hierarchy which we can see for any material in MM03 t-code. how ever in MM03 t-code we can go upto 3 level (Main Group, Group and Sub group) how ever on BI side we can see only 1 level.
I want to see all 3 levels when i click on 0PROD_HIER because i want to see a relation of a material and it belongs to which main group and group but i see that there is no standard content for Product Hierarchy in SAP BI or ECC . Can any body help me on how to get this hierarchy on BI side ?

I have done 2 scenarios which is mentioned below..
1, I created a hierarchy for 0MATERIAL info object with 0MATERIAL_LPRH_HIER data source. I ran infopackage and it showed a popup "DATA WAS REQUESTED" but when i went to Hierarchy symbol -> Maintain Hierarchies, i am not able to see any hierarchies there.. am i missing something ?
2. I have activated 0PROD_HIER_LPRH_HIER dat sorce ECC. replicated it on BI side and created transfer rules wit 0PROD_HIER infoobject. I created infopackage and it has shown me hierarchy in selection. I ran infopackage and it said that "DATA WAS REQUESTED" but i din't see any hierarchies in RSH1... am i missing something here as well ?

Problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N

I am working in SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4.0 system.
I have problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N
I create a DIR version 00 with functional location and mpd cycles. Then when i try to create a new version by copying the contents created from already created document.I change the MPD cycles in the new version and save it.
once when i display the first document created the mpdcycle specified in version 01 is copied to the 00 version.
The document is inconsistent where versioning of document doesnot work properly wrt MPDCYCLE and MP HEADER.
The problem which i found was the document identification guid remains the same for all the document versions getting created.
The same is working fine in SAP ERP6.0 EHP3.0 sytem.
Please someone help me in resolving the above issue.

There is a change in the standard code.The reason for the above problem was because of a missing Enhancemnet point in a standard function module 'CV110_DOC_CREATE_WITH_TEMPLATE'.

Created a custom enhancement point similar to SAP ECC6.0 EHP 3.0 system.
The reason was the buffer was not getting cleared previously.After inserting the above code the DIR's are getting created withot any issues.

Unable to create position hierarchy in organization model

I was unable to create position hierarchy in organizational hierarchy. I want to maintain position hierarchy within an organization. But SAP CRM is not allowing that. I was able to create organizational hierarchy. Please let me know, how can I maintain the position hierarchy within the same organization?

Hi hari,
it is only possible to have a hierarchy with two levels on position level. Therefore you create two positions below your organization (tx ppoma_crm). At one of these positions you set the flag "Head of own organizational unit" at the Basic data tab of the position (To see this, you need to display the Details of the positions at the bottom of the screen). Now you can assign a business partner (or more) to this position which is (are) the Head of this unit.
If you need a more complex hierarchy you have to use organizations to show this.

As per my requirement i have to create a customize hierarchy in SAP BW system, could one please suggest me how to create customize hierarchy in BW system.
I know that in R/3 by using BW07 and BW10 we can create the Hierarchy by using Z or on standard table we can create, but my requirement is to create in BW.

Hi Prashanth,
To create hierachy in BW/BI , First of all you need to make the characterstic 'With hierarchies'
Right click on the characterstic(Z_SREP, for example) --> Change
Go to Hierarchy Tab ---> check 'With hierarchies' check box
activate the characterstic
then right click on the same characterstic and say Create Hierarchy
Enter a name and a description, and then click continue
Right-click charactersctic or the right hand side area , and then select Insert characteristic node--> Insert info object ( Z_SREP) u2026. and so on...

what you are saying as Business Partner Group hierarchy is actually the account hierarchy inside the BP which can be created using the Bp groups

Use
The account hierarchy allows you to map complex organizational structures of a business partner (for example, buying group, co-operative or chain of retail outlets).
When you create a hierarchy structure, you form groups of business partners (for example, for purchasing groups). You can use them for statistical purposes and for marketing analyses.
You can use the hierarchy for pricing. Pricing is carried out using conditions such as pricing arrangements that are stored at a higher level of an organizational structure and can be transferred to the lower levels.
Integration
You can transfer a customer hierarchy from SAP ECC to the account hierarchy in SAP CRM.

Hi GN,
You have different options to create messages in test component SV-SMG-SUP-TST:
1. if you are on 7.1 you can create message using CRM_UI
2. If you are using lower vrsion then either you can create message using Workcenter or using transaction NOTIF_CREATE or using menu --> Help --> Create support message.

Hi ,
To create OM infotype:
1. Go to SE11 and create a structure HRI9XXX (9XXX --> name of the infotype). Add the required fields to this structure and save and activate. then come out of it.
2. Go to PPCI and enter Infotype number (9XXX) and description.
3. Click create.
4. In the infotype category select details for the infotype.
5. Click create button. It should create the infotype.
6. Click on Check. A window with menu will open.
7. In that window navigate to Table Entries.
8. Under table Entries, select T777I and click on change.
9. It opens SM30. Click on Maintain.
10. Select the infotype and add information for "Time Constraint" and "Infotype Per Object Type".
11. Save.
12. Go back to check menu, see if all entries exist. Do not worry last 5 table entries. And you are done
