Hi Michael,
U should check the parameter value of login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 by default the value is 1 so u have to change the parameter value.After that u can able to login into new client by SAP*/pass.

You can create a new local client by copying exsisting client through SCCL
Please go through the required client copy documentation if you are on project
and also refer to required SAP OSS Notes

Hi
Follow these steps:
1) Create a client going in to the path given in my previous reply.
2)Login into the client with
User: DDIC or SAP*
Password
For default password go thru this link

3)After login using Transaction su01, create ur XISUPER user and assign all Roles to it.

Create a new Client Copy Profil

Hi,
is there a standard application to add a individual client copy profil to table CCPROF ?
Reason: The client copy via TDMS does not copy the report variants ( note 1159279 ). So I would like to transfer only variants with SCCL or SCC9. The ABAP RSTRANSP creates a transport order with ABAP variants but ignores variants of queries.

Creating new client (via SCC4) doesn't create defualt users (SAP*,DDIC,...)

I've created a new client (100) via SCC4. After this, I've tried to login at this client with SAP* user and password PASS (i've also tested with the password that i've changed at installation). The message that the system displays is "Name or password is incorrect". I've been querying the SAP table USR01 and the user is not created for this client (only for clients 000, 001 and 066). What can I do to login at the system with client 100?

How to create new client in SAP IDES

Hi Experts,
          I have messed up with the existing 800 client in some configuration, Now i want to create a new client and want to set the configurations again, And which client we have to copy 000 or 800, because i did lot of configurations in 800 client. All my transports in 800 client are not released, if i copy 800 client will the old settings done in client 800 will be copied.
          For basis questions, where i have to post in SDN, because i did not find any section like SAP-Basis, suggest me where i have to post.
          Give me some suggestions on this.

You Need to do something like this .
Logon to the system
start Transaction SM31
Enter 'T000' as the table name
create a new entry with your preferred client number
logg off the system
Start a new gui logging on to the new client with user
'SAP*' and password 'pass'
Start transaction 'SCCL'
Use client 000 as source and your new client as target
give it the 'go'
wait some time
You can also do all these steps through the menu:
Tools
Administration
Administration
Client Administration
Client Copy
Local Copy

Pass word of SAP* in the new client Created

I have created a new client called 100.
I am not able to login though the default password for sap* which is PASS
I am not able to login throught the pasword: 07061992.
I am also not able to login through the password given during installation.
This is the first time, i am loggin to client 100

Logon to client 000 and go to RZ10 -> set the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 -> restart the system -> login to the new client with sap* and password PASS

Once you have created the new client in SCC4:
- Goto transaction rz10
- From the drop down select the instance profile <SID>_DVEBMSG<NR>_<hostname>
- Select extended maintanence
- Add new parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar and set it to 0
- Save the changed profile
- Make sure to activate the new profile
- Restart SAP system
- login to the new client via SAP*/pass

New client create . but unable to logon

Dear All,
After Instalaltion of SAP ECC6.0 , I Create a New Client (053), When I tried to logon to New Client (053) using user Name as : SAP* and password is PASS.
System shows message Name or Password is incorrect (repeat logon)
I create the the Dedaut profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar             0
but the same message appares,
Please reply me How to logon in New Client.

Problem Creating New Client in SAP NW2004s ABAP+JAVA LINUX

I installed successfully NW2004s dual stack on linux vmware (SUSE10 enterprise server). This stack give me two client by default, 000 and 001. System gives me default user sap* and password: sapn4sadm
I want to implement the process for BW enabling, and I want to create New Client for it. I have been used SCC4 to create a new client by logging on with the Client 000, but the problem start, when I log-on with the new client.
Client: 002
User: sap*
Password: pass
I have tried system default password of sap* , but that also dosen't help.
It doesn't work, I also try RZ10 to change the value of login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0, but I don't find any profile , when I click on the profile field, i get the message "Profile not found". I am not figuring out where I am doing wrong.
How can I success to create a new Client in which i could log on with sap* user. Please Help me

In order to edit profiles In RZ10, you must first import them.
Menu: Utilities --> Import Profiles --> Of Active Servers
After this you can add your parameter.
One alternative is to edit the profile directly with vi, restart the system, do all client copy tasks, remove the parameter with vi, restart the system again and then import the active profiles.
the profiles are located in directory
/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile
and the filename is something like this
<SID>_DVEBMGS<instancenr>_<hostname>

SAP* and DDIC passwords for new clients in Sol Man 4.0

I just recently finished a Solution Manager 4.0 on Windows 2003 server box. Then, I performed some of the post installation steps until I had to create a new client. So, I went to scc4 and created a new client. When trying to get access to this new client through SAP*, the default password did not work and the entries were not created in the table usr02. Also, I tried to insert the missing entries into the usr02 table, but had no success after all.
I hope some of you can help on this, because I am stucked on it.

i thing you can check in Document Installation guide Solution manager on Page 108
If you install a new ABAP or ABAP+Java system, in most cases you do not need to perform the client copy for
the ABAP stack. SAPinst creates three ABAP clients during the installation, client 000, client 001, and client 066.
You can use client 001 for production.
The following procedure describes how to perform a client copy manually. We recommend that you
use client 001 as source client.
Caution
If you want to use a client other than the default of 001 as your production client, you have to reconnect
the Java part to the production client as described in SAP Note 937323.
Procedure
1. Maintain the new client with transaction SCC4.
2. Activate kernel user SAP*:
 a) Set the profile parameter
 Login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0.
 b) Restart the application server.
3. Log on to the new client with kernel user SAP* and password PASS.
4. Copy the client with transaction SCCL and profile SAP_CUST.
5. Check the log files with transaction SCC3.
6. Deactivate kernel user SAP*:
 a) Reset login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 1.
Caution
 You create SAP system user SAP* on the new client
 before resetting
login/no_automatic_user_sapstar.
 b) Restart the application server.

Logical system for new client

Hello experts,
I want to copy all users and assigned roles from Quality to the production system.
But as a safety measure I want to copy the existing users and role assignment from production system too one of the test system.
For this I created a new client in test system. My question is:
1) Do I've to create a logical system for this new client?
2) Is there any other step that I need to take beside creating RFC connection?
