Creating a public folder for multiple computers
I am putting together my home media center. We have a number of computers and would like to use one central folder on our server to house all our media. Is there a way to have each individual computer store all music in that folder, and point to that same folder to play music? I just want to make sure I set it up correctly. currently I am able to get the second computer to recognize a share folder on another computer, but will not recognize the music in the folder.

if U working on R3;
thn goto DMS
Use tcode cv03n, open the document for which you want create folder.
goto document browser tab for perticular document, here u can create publeic as well as private folder and add documents as per your reqt.
In this u can also give authorisation of folder as per reqt.

Having one iTunes music library for multiple computers via TimeCapsule
Hi there,
I'm just wondering how to best set-up my iTunes library. I want the library on my TimeCapsule wireless hard drive, and to be able to set this as the library for multiple computers at home. It's a waste of space to have duplicate libraries on both computers.I had this working with an earlier version of iTunes, but its not working now.
I also want to know how I can get the wireless device to fire up simply by pressing the iTunes icon. If I do this without, iTunes says it can't find the library.
Thanks.Frank, yes. Only one library of the songs and content if it's stuff from the Music Store.
If the music is your own CD rips, then you can put all the music on a central server and have all the computers connect in on your home network.
You do NOT set your iTunes to share their libraries, or look for shared libraries, you manually do the drag-and-drop with your networked music folder into the iTunes library window and each copy of iTunes behaves as if the network volume is it's own.
The only shortcoming to this is if you add music with one machine, the others will NOT have the new songs added to their own library lists unless you drag and drop the songs into the iTunes library manually for each computer.
I have enough music that I have broken down the library list into five folders, A-E, F-J, K-O, P-T, and U-Z. When I add new songs, the folders they're in will be added at the root Music Library folder level, so I can refresh the libraries with the new music THEN manually file it into one of those five correct folders.

The G4 frankenbeast computer in our living room, is the media server for the house and has the stereo system rigged through it and is used to rip vinyl and watch the video. I still have to refresh the libraries in my husband's laptop, and on my main internet computer, so those albums haven't been filed yet.
Of course the caveat here is that I haven't a single item that's purchased through the Music Store and thusly locked down, since I rip my own LP's and CD's, so everything is much more flexible in how I can handle it.

Using one library for multiple computers and accounts (not store accounts)
Okay, we currently have four macs in the house. One was recently bought: i7 iMac (late 2009), another is dying: (mid 2005 iMac), another is going somewhere else: (late 2006 iMac) and another is a laptop: C2D MBP (late 2008). We might add another computer into the mix some time later.
Anyway, what I want to do is have one iTunes library which all of the computers can access (even guest's/friend's computers). We have a Time Capsule, and as I have heard one can make the TC the HDD for the iTunes library, I thought it best for it to be there.
The only thing is, how can each computer (and the possible multiple accounts) each access the same library, without duplicating and messing anything up? Is that possible? If it is too hard for multiple computers to do this, I would still want the (late 2009) iMac to be able to use the same library for the two accounts on it.
Thanks.Make sure everything you want to share is on the centralized drive (music, video, and books, but if any of you have mobile devices, keep the apps on your local drive). Mount the drive on your computer. (Remember, from now on you must do this before starting iTunes.) If iTunes isn't running, start it now.
At the moment iTunes thinks the library is on the local computer and has all the music on it so that has to be changed. Click on Music in the left window pane, select all, and delete. This deletes all the music from the library and, if you choose, from the computer too. (Until you are sure this set-up is to your liking, don't delete the music from the drive.) Now go to Preferences and select the Advanced tab. Set iTunes to look at the music folder on your shared drive. And finally, select File>Add to Library to repopulate your iTunes library. This could take a while if you have a large music collection.
Since you changed the music location, anything that is added to one person's library will be saved onto the shared drive so it isn't too much of a hassle to manually add music. You'll have to rebuild playlists which is a minor hassle but it’s a one time deal. -
How to create a single login for multiple apps on tomcat server?

I am running the most recent versions of apache and tomcat on several dells with XP pro.
When I login to an app I have created, a session variable is set, but when I browse to one of the other apps on the same computer, it does not recognize that the session variable has been set and I have to login again.
Can somebody please suggest how, or where I can find docs, to configure tomcat to pass the session variables to other apps?

Also, do a search in this forum on HttpURLConnection. That class allows you to use POST method to send form data to a web server.
"Hidden" variables are only hidden in HTML. The HTTP that gets POSTed to the web server doesn't distinguish between hidden and not hidden. That is, the content you would write to the HttpURLConnection.getOutputStream() would be something like:
hidden=1&submit=ok(Of course, the variable names would depend on what the web server was expecting from the form.)
Also, be sure to set the Content-Type request parameter to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" -

Can we creat an Apple ID for multiple users?
I work for a company where we are rolling out iPads in big amounts. The problem is that they all need an Apple ID in the training they get about the iPad they receive because they have to install MobiControl on it.
It's no problem to let them create an Apple ID at home, but they have to fill in credit card numbers once they connect at work when they try to install apps. That's the problem... Not everyone want's or has credit cards...
Maybe it's possible to create an Apple ID for multiple users???

You can make apple ID's without a credit card, you just have to jump through a couple of hoops to do it since the default is that people will always give a credit card. The key to making an ID without a credit card is that you try to download a free app first, then follow the 'make an ID' prompt. That will get you the 'none' option for payment. -

- a HU managed warehouse (without WM), society B;
- a purchasing process of HU from society A towards society B.
Society B have a scheduling agreement; when a delivery schedule appears, in society A born a sales order and a delivery. After the registration of the delivery good issue, an idoc transfer information for inbound delivery creation.
This process is ok without WM, but with a WM managed warehouse the idoc has the following problem:
"V51VP - item was not found - process cancelled".

Deleteing folder for multiple users
Good morning all -
As most people would admit, I am terrible at scripting in any form. In short, I need assistance with a dummy proof script to delete the contents of a folder for multiple (150+) users, without having to touch each users profile. I would
prefer to be able to execute the script when needed. This won't be listed as a scheduled task or setup as a netlogon. The path is as follows:
C:\Users\michael.jannise.ctr\NS5\tmp
It can either be set to delete the tmp folder entirely, or just the contents of the folder. Which ever is easier.

Understanding Windows and the Windows file system is always a big problem for non-technicians.
Learning this technology requires some time for testing things until you understand how they work. You really cannot learn this by asking people on the Internet to give you answers.
The command, as posted. removes only the "tmp" folder contents. How to make that clear is not clear. It needs to be tried. THe safe way yo do thisis to make a parallel structure and test that.

Create a public synonym for a db link - "Connection desccriptor not found".
I want to create a public synonym for a db link.
The existing db link name is tst.world ( which is in db links table and is working fine).
I created the following db link using the following command:
create public synonym "syn.world" for "tst.world";
It created the synonym successfully.
If I try the following, it throws error "Connection desccriptor not found".
select * from [email protected];
It says "Connection desccriptor not found".
Any suggestions.

You can create synonyms for objects referenced across DBLinks.

FM import into RH project creates a separate folder for every FM chapter
I am importing a FM book into RH 9 to create a new help project. RH creates a separate folder for every FM chapter! The folder contains the html and CSS. This is messy and useless since all html will point to a single help CSS for the project. It will be tedious to move all the html topics to one folder plus I will lose the FM link for future updates.
Did I miss a step in the import that controls how the project is created in RH?Yes, this is deliberate - in fact most people want to sub-divide their .fm files into even finer topics - that's what the pagination setting in the Conversion Settings screen is for. Why do you want them all to be mashed together anyway?
I've only heard of one other poster wanting to stuff all their FM content into one folder - try searching the forums. I seem to remember there were a bunch of suggestions to things to do from either the FM end of things or the RH side.
The reason why Adobe did it this way was to give you individual control over the CSS to be applied to individual topics (even if most of us just apply a common one across the board in the SSL recipe when we create our help). -

For multiple computers, 3 (Three) to be precise, do we need to pay $29.00 for each computer you want to upgrade to the new operating system X-LION?
As Linc points out you do not need to purchase a separate copy for each computer.
In order to update all three follow these steps:
All of your computers must be running OS X 10.6.7 (better is 10.6.8)
Pay for the update and download it and install it on one computer.
On each of the other computers, go to the Mac App store and sign in to it using the same account that you used to purchase the upgrade to the first computer.
In the App store, at the top of the page look for the Purchased icon and click it.
You will see a list of apps you have purchased including Lion. Select Lion and look for the INSTALL button to the right of it. Click that button.
Let it install Lion on the other computers.

Wrong payer value while creating PRO FORMA invoice for multiple delivery

I am trying to create PRO FORMA Invoice for multiple deliveries thru VF01.
The problem here is the payer value is copied as the value of payer for the first delivery to all invoices. All other fields are picked up properly.
Please help me to idenify the problem. Also if I create the invoices thru VF04 the invoices the created with correct payer.
