Creating Activity and want to attach PDF

Hi,
I am using function BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CHANGEMULTI
to create activities via bulk process
I want to attach a result of smartform and adobe print forms as attachments
I can not find any simple function pr process to do this
please help!!!!!!!

i am in CRM 6.0 now. i have decided to use FM 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' to create and change activity, also there is a import field named 'IT_SURVEY'. Now i want to batch upload the answers of the survey in a txt file to CRM and then create the survey and attach the survey to the activity.
After check program 'CRM_SURVEY_UI' which also use 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' to create activity and survey, i found SAP will convert your input to a rawstring. But the convertion is based on the HTML container(class gr_survey_html), my case is flat txt file. How could i realize the convertion ?
Any advice? I am so puzzled on this for a long time..

Edit: It is solved. CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN allows introduce a survey in an activity.

Creating activity and populate activity journals from ext. data

We are looking to create activities and corresponding journal entries from an external database application.
The external database is SQL, and there are 30,000 data records.
What is the best approach for mass load of external data into a CRM activity.

I don't know of a tool to use to load them. We wrote a load program that calls function module BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI to create the activities

When i scan and want to attach the item scanned does not appear.

i used to be able to scan and item and when i went to attach it would appear with the date scanned and i could then just click and it would attach. now after i scan and go to "attach" it does not appear.

Hi,
If you are talking about attaching the documents to Invoice, You need to use Generic object service (GOS) along with archival procedure. Please search the SCN, we have some documentation on this.
If it is via E-mail, it is very simple. You can pass the receiver list to SF and send the mail.

Creating JavaHelp and wanting HTML not HTM for file names

I am using RoboHelp 7 to generate JAvaHelp. But the generated JavaHelp files are in .htm. I want the help files to have the extension .html. How do i change this in RoboHelp? Can anyone help?

As for the issue of htm VS html, this is something you will need to manually change by editing the properties of each topic. Sorry. The thing is, there simply is no technical reason that a page requires to be named html. The only cases we have seen where it makes a difference are when a developer is simply being hard headed about it or when something has uniquely been set up at a company where the html file extension is actually required to make things work.

Typically the adding of an attachment to an email is done by the email program being used.
Regarding files attached to an email; rather than attempting to directly open these save a copy to your computer.
Use Adobe Reader to view the PDFs that you have saved in this manner (do a "file - open").

Iphone notes won't display attached pdf

I can create a note with an attached PDF (dragged from a Finder window) on my Mac laptop (10.9.4). The note is synced through iClound and the attachment can be seen and opened on a second Mac laptop (10.9.4). On my iPad Air (IOS7) a paperclip symbol appears in the note. On my iPhone 4S (IOS8) PDF document symbol appears in the note. However, the attachment cannot be opened on either the phone or the tablet. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't believe a PDF can be displayed within the Notes app on iOS devices...probably because you can't attach a PDF to a note using iOS in the first place.

Cannot directly open attached PDF

Always before I was given the choice between directly opening and viewing an attached PDF document or saving it to file. Now, when I click on the PDF icon, it takes me directly to the save mode with no option to open the file.

How to get Apple ID and password that is different to iTunes store account which I have already activated and completed contracts, tax information and bank information I want to create a Paid Books Account use apple ID

I was given this address from the Apple customer support team.
I have an active existing iTunes store account and use the same Apple ID for signing into my iTunes Connect Account that distributes Apps.
I have created some books using the iBook author and in order to distribute content on the iBookstore I have been told electronically that I need a new Apple ID and password that is different to iTunes store account which I have already activated and completed contracts, tax information and bank information valid until 2013?
I want to create a Paid Books Account using the same email address, tax information and bank information. This has been most frustrating, as I cannot get passed the sign in section and there is no contact person I can speak to. I was of the understanding the iTunes connect account and the Developer programs which I paid good money for is all what I needed to be paid for selling iBooks on the iBookstore???
I only have one email address and wish to also use it for the Paid Books Account. I have books ready to be exported and published.
I am also having trouble locating and downloading iTunes Producer. I understand I need to have the Paid Books Account active to access the iTunes Producer program. Please help.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

I use Outlook for my email on the Safari web browser, and about 90% of the time when I want to attach a pdf or jpg file the email message will crash.

The only way I can get my Outlook to work is if I switch to Firefox web browser. I would rather not switch to a new web browser if I don't have to.
It seems like what ever the problem is that its related the Safari web browser, because it works fine on the Firefox web browser.
I think its some kind of plug-in failure because it giving me a LOC ERROR:
LOC ERROR: Unable to locate localized string for resource ID 5007.
How can I fix this Plug-in?

1) design for no wider than 600px (otherwise it may not fit in email clients).
2) Slice up your newsletter design in segments for images and html areas with the slice tool.
3) add the <a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com">my website</a> link in one of the html areas.
4) export as generic html 4 code, and put the images in a separate folder.
5) upload all the images to your website's server in a folder (you cannot embed images in an email newsletter - they must link to externally hosted images).
6) change all the links in your html page to the ones that were loaded up on your server. For example, an image's source link would work out similar to this: <img src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/newsletter/image1.jpg" alt="alternate description of your image">
7) open the newsletter with working external images in Chrome or Firefox. Select the entire page content (ctrl-a), and copy it (ctrl-c).
8) create a new email in your mail client. Place the cursor in the body. Paste the newsletter (ctrl-v).
9) send your newsletter to hundreds of recipients, and get blacklisted by several email servers. Receive warning messages from your own hosting provider not to spam other users' email accounts.
10) realize this is too much of a hassle, and instead opt for a service such as MailChimp.
(The result in (9) depends on whether you sent out your newletter only to acquaintances, or not. But even then you might be warned off.)
Btw, many email clients turn off images in an email by default. You must provide the most important content as html, not as images.
