Creating an interactive CV: mouse over / roll over pop ups, embedded documents and videos

Hi everyone,
I am pretty new to Adobe Acrobat Pro and new to this forum (1st post here!). Greetings from Spain... and apologies for grammar mistakes and misleading explanations (in advance). I have been checking this forum and googling quite a bit, but I do not get to many conclusions (maybe I sleep few due to our baby!).
I want to create an interactive CV with the following characteristics:
1) CV in 1 page in a PDF document (no problem here!)
2) Hyperlinks in the text which open embedded files (pdf of others) hidden to the viewer but which are in the pdf document. Possible? (I want the recruiter to receive just one file). Even better if they could be open in another window (doubt it).
How could it be done? I try add documents and they are attached at the end, so the original pdf gets to have more pages, all viewable.
3) Furthermore, mouse over / roll over pop ups which show you a preview of the file you may open clicking the hyperlink, for a quick view of the content.
I think that this may be done, but using other programs, like InDesign. I just try to add a document, but it's sort of a link to a document in my computer. I may add pdf, pps files.
4) Even more, would it be possible to embed a video which would open in a new window? If not, I tried to add a link to youtube and there was a warning as "this program tries to open a window, if you trust the owner... " (similar safety message) and the very last thing I want the recruiter to have to decide whether to decide to watch it or not.
I know its a questions in its very first stages, but the big point is to know if/what it is possible to do, so that I search in the right direction.
If you have any idea or advice (even if not related to PDF pro, of course), just please let me know.

(3) Right, I could not find either a way using just Acrobat Pro (I'm using XI). Sad thing that you confirm it... But it looks like you may do it using other programs on the PDF, but I don't know to use them. You may take a look at this:

(4) I think that embedding would make the file to big, so I may opt for the hyperlink to youtube option, even if I deeply dislike that message, although youtube is a reliable source for the viewer.

Assuming by "interactive text boxes" you mean form fields; in Acrobat, make a form field, then copy it and paste. (GIve the pasted copy a different name so they don't genetate the same field feedback.) Now you have two fields of the exact same size. Shift-click or marquee-drag to select both, then right-click and choose a command from the Align, Distribute or Center menu.

Mail always creates To-Dos in IMAP folder.. message pop-ups annoying.

I tried to create a new todo in Mail by right-clicking on a message and choosing the option.
Apart from the text styling looking very ugly, I can't use this feature because a message keeps popping up:

No matter which button I press to close the dialogue it keeps coming back. Eventually I have to look in the Gmail To-do folder and delete the to-do.

I have tried changing the preference for notes to be created 'On My Mac' and not in Gmail IMAP but the preference does not seem to do anything - it still keeps dropping them in the Gmail account. This is after closing prefs, quitting and restarting Mail.
Very annoying.

quit Mail, open iCal and delete all gmail to-dos. start Mail and see if that helps.

Installed FF 33.0, & now embedded images and videos on websites are blank. How fix? How roll-back to 32.0.3?

I installed FF 33.0, and "OpenH264 Video Codec by Cisco Systems, Inc. 1.1" plug-in installed itself automatically. Did that cause this problem? I set it to "Never Activate," which seems to have disabled it, but the problem persists. Do I need H264 for any reason? If not, can I uninstall it, and if so, how? Also, how do I revert FF to a previous verson? V. 33.0 seems to have caused this problem, whether it's due to H264 codec or something else in this version. There seems to be some incompatiblity somehow that wasn't there before -- what can I do to fix this?

Are they blank or black? If they are black I would recommend disabling hardware acceleration. [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
This does not cause an issue, it adds to the variety of codec types Firefox can render.

Please could someone tell me if its possible to get my recording to record roll over captions?

I am making a recording of some slides in a captivate e learning course to be used as a demo for the course. Please could someone tell me if its possible to get my recording to record roll over captions. If I click on the roll over link rather than let the mouse just roll over it, in the recording it records the caption box but before the mouse path gets to it which gives an inaccurate picture of what happens, if I don't click anything then it doesn't record that I rolled my mouse over it. I'm hoping its a setting somewhere. I did try and add the captions as an image but then it doesn't show a mousepath aaaagggghhhhh!!! Any help or hint would be greatly appreciated.

I'm confused by your description. Are you saying you have created a Captivate that you are playing back, and recording the Captivate you created using Captivate?

Glow effect on button roll-over

I am wanting to have my transparent button disply a glow effect outline when the mouse is rolled over the button. Is this possible and if so, how do I go about it?

I have been looking for various solutions on "Da' Google" and it seems most involve perhaps a bit more expertise than I can lay claim to having. I have seen several which involve writing code of some sort. I am a fair hand at following instructions, so long as they begin at a reference point I can identify.

There is no out of the box solution for this in Muse at the moment. Maybe you can do it in Adobe Edge Animate, not 100% sure though.

Which of the Adobe Suite applications is best suited to create an interactive digital brochure? I am new to Creative Coud and fairly new to most of the Adobe Apps but wanting to learn. Indesign or Illustrator plus which others?
I want to be able to view brochure on desktop and mobile platforms and I want the brochure to include page flips, video, animation, etc.

You can't do all of those things in the same kind of digital file. You can choose InDesign. Your choices are interactive PDF, SWF or a tablet app with Digital Publishing Suite. You need to investigate which of those features work with which output.

No pop-ups with partner determination in Interaction Center Web UI

We are working with SAP CRM 7.0 SP06 and have the following problem.
In Interaction Center Web UI, when we create a sales order, the partner determination is triggered. But no pop-ups are shown to choose the right business partner. When we use Web UI for different Role (not Interaction Center), then we will get pop-ups to choose.
So partner determination is alright, but pop-ups are not working for us in Interaction Center.
I know when using SAP GUI Interaction Center, you have to implement SAP Note 487734 for getting the pop-ups. But this note is not relevant for CRM 7.0 and Web UI.
Do you know what the problem is?

In customizing go to:
Customer Relationship Management => Interaction Center WebClient => Business Transaction => Define Business Transaction Profiles
Then for your Business Transaction Profile go to 'Business Transaction Dialog Boxes' and mark the 'Allows Dialog Box' field.

How to I create a list or chart to pop up using a mouse roll over?

I have a "Glossary" for this clients website. When moving my mouse over a Glossary Term, I would like the "definition" of that term to "appear" or also known as "popup", then disapear when the mouse is moved away.
I am looking at the roll over states but I just don't see the concept yet. Can anyone help?

Hello,
You can use the "tooltip" composition for this purpose, where you can use the triggers to list your grossary items (by putting a text box over them) and then they will show tooltips when hovered over. Here's a short video on how you can do that: http://screencast.com/t/DNPpSNDwdSPV

Creating a popup on mouse over in bar graph

Hi,
I want to create a popup using mouse over event on bar graph but I didn't find corresponding property in the property inspector. Is it possible to display a popup on mouse over in bar graph?
At present I am able to create a popup in the backing bean based on click event. I want to align it to the bar in the graph which was clicked. But now, it is being aligned to the bar graph as a whole(like above the graph , below the graph) when I use "RichPopup.PopupHints.HintTypes.HINT_ALIGN_ID, source". Is there a way to align it to the particular bar?

Hi,
don't think you can align it to an area within a component. The align id property expects a component reference. Note that mouse over on a bar graph doesn't select the bar, which means that the data in the binding layer is not set to current (just in case that the data in the popup is meant to be dependent)

I want to create a Roll Over on part of an image.

I would like to create a HTML page like this: Cherry Hill Mall | Directory for a Mall.
My plan is to create a image and then trace the specific store like a hotspot and then link a roll over to it. But I'm not sure if its possible. Is there perhaps a better way of doing this.

When the muse ROLL OVER the image, the text buttons at the left column, must change the appearence,To indicate who is the artist of the photo. the same whit the image 2, and 3 and 4.... you said me that i can change the appearence at the states menu, i know this but i have to chancge the apearence of the text when the mouse ROLL OVER the imatges, not qhen roll over the text ( Thats its normal and easy).... I have to ampliate the x¡zone of effect for rollover

When I enter time machine (on Time Capsule) i see the stack of screen shots and the time line. However, when I roll over the mouse pointer, the time line does not activate. The cancel button does not get me out of the app: have to alt cmd esc. Ideas?

Thanks for the response. My main goal here is to get the drop
down menu word "Overview" to remain red once it reaches the frame
"WhoWeAre" or "OurMission" on the main timeline. If I turn the
button inside the movie clip into an MC to do this, the drop down
menu no longer works. Any thoughts on how to get this drop down
menu to do this?
