Creating circular arrows?

Hello!
I've looked for a good solution to this issue I've had for like... forever, it seems.
I often need to create circular arrows. Now, this is not normally a problem since I just add arrowheads to a path.
But is there a way to convert the stylized "Add arrowhead" effect into a regular object?
Check image to see what I mean:
This is what I normally do, but when I try to convert the paths into "Outline Stroke" or anything like it, the arrowheads are reset (ie. removed)... which leaves me with the problem I need to address.

Gradient interlocking circular arrows in Illustrator

hi there- I was wondering how you make interlocking circular arrows similar to this in Illustrator:
I can do the circular arrows one of two ways:
create a circular outline, split into 3, put arrow heads on, make them a fill and add gradient OR
create a circle and split into 3 and add triangles for arrow heads.
The issue I have is that one arrow head needs to be separated from the line and brought to the front so it's interlocked and still has the gradient intact - if that makes sense...? The 2nd and 3rd image shows where I am at the moment.
How do you do this?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This may be cheating, but I'd create a symbol and duplicate around the center point. Then duplicate the problem arrow and mask the front copy:
This method lets you add as many arrows as you like to the circle.

How can I create an arrow animation for my map

I am new and would like to create an arrow animation moving to show a path on my map.
how can I show this arrow animation on my jpg image?
do I have to convert my image to gif first?
do you have any tutorial for this so please show me.
it would be better to be a step by step so I can better underestand each step.
Iam using fireworks mx2004.

The JPEG format does not support animation, so if you want to add a moving arrow to a map, you'd need to make an animated GIF or a Flash movie.
If your map is a large image, then adding the frames to make an animated GIF could make very big file and that wouldn't be good. Another thing to keep in mind is that a JPEG image can have millions of colors but an animated GIF can only have 256. If your map is a line art (a drawing), then usually the GIF or PNG formats give you a better result, anyway as the JPEG format introduces noise and color shifts which are normally not noticed on photographs.

In your case, you would share your map across the frames and each new frame would have a different arrow on it.

also how do you get rid of duplicate contacts or contacts you no longer need? i know we can merge contacts but there seems to be tons of names and numbers i have put into categories for work contacts and since using icloud when one person rings i have three different names for them that pops up.

1. It is a refresh icon, it initiates a manual sync with the server storing/syncing contacts.
2. Sinec you know about merge. You can also delete, tap to open a contact, click edit, and then scroll to the bottom. Alternatively, you can log into icloud.com and edit, delete, prune there much easier if you have many alterations to make.

This seems like such an easy task but I cannot find an answer. How do I create an arrow share with a different stroke and fill in InDesign? I used the stroke start and stop options to create arrows, and ended up layering two arrows to achieve the effect, but I'm hoping there is a correct and more elegant solution. Thanks in advance!

The best way would be to create this in Illustrator - it has more elegant outlining capabilities. Other than that, if you must make this within InDesign, draw the arrow with the pen tool.

How to Create An Arrow Indicator that Fills

I'm trying to create an Arrow indicator that can fill. I've taken a slide indicator put some flat decoration shapes over it to make is look like an arrow. This works, but I have to created one for each direction UP, DN, Left, Right, for I can figure out how to rotate it.

Yes! You have to create one for each direction
Of course you could also use a picture indicator and just draw what needs to be drawn. You could also customize some classic controls. It's not quite the same, because the arrow tips move now. See attached examples.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't help & you can afford to redo any Mail Rules...
Trash these files...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/... MessageRules.plist and MessageRules.plist.backup
Then if need be with the backup, Import emlx to mbox, See if this helps...

This is simply he rotation lock icon showing up. It means that your iPad 2 running iOS 5.5.1 is "locked" in either portrait or landscape mode. This restricts the screen from rotating when you tilt it. This feature can be very useful in certain cases. To disable this feature, simply double tap on the home button to access the multitasking menu. From there, swipe to the right and tap the icon that looks like a lock with a circle around it. Depending on the settings on your iPad, you may have to turn off rotation lock by flipping the switch directly above the volume switch into the opposite position as it is in now. Hope this helped! Creating an arrow using Graphics

Hi,
I am working on an application that should show links between objects in a 3D area (visualised via a JPanel) by means of an arrow.
I started off by just drawing a line between 2 objects in a and am now trying to create the arrow head using the fillArc method, but whatever I do it does not drwa the head on top of the line...
Does anyone have a clue how to implement this? Or is there any other way to do this?

look in the documentation on how to use the fillArc method - it tells you exactly what each param represents. however, i'm assuming that your arrow is kind of triangular, in which case you might be better off using a GeneralPath. this basically allows you to specify a starting point and subsequent points, and you can then call closePath and, i believe, fillPath (or something like that) to create a solid shape.
and don't forget to sketch your co-ords on paper first!
