Creating CLOB Documents

Hi,
I am using a CLOB variable to create a document exceeding 32K...but when i create a document exceeding
8K, it gives the following error:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
The same code works perfectly with document size 8K or less...

I don't quite understand your code. Is this what is exactly running in your workflow. This seems wrong to me.
If document is the CLOB parameter to the PLSQLCLOB doc API, why do you createtemplob again. It is a temp lob that is already created by Workflow. Also, if you want to select a clob from database, you really don't have to create a templob for it.
A typical PLSQLCLOB doc API would look like
