Creating Employee for MSA

Dear Colleagues,
Got stuck with the follwing, please do help...
I have installed the MSA client and now wanted to create the user for login to MSA. When go to SMOEAC --> selected Employee -->, but create, display, change button is disabled. So not able to create the new employee. Even default MSA users are also not visible (there are no users).
Did I miss something? Please do respond.

Hi,
  There are two conditions that need to be satisfied for logging into a mobile client. The user must exist as an entry in the table smousers and smomitabt.
  Please check if the entries are available in both these tables in the CDB. If not, then try downloading the BUPA_MAIN object from CRM to CDB.
  Once you get the data to CDB in the above tables, please create a subscription using publication "User by Employee" and the condition that the USER_WRITE segment with segment field SFAMITABT and the SFAMITABT app. field of SMOUSERS application table match the user that you want as a login.
  Subscribe the same to the site and conntrans it. You should see the table entries in the mobile client. Please let me know if you still have problems.
  Also, please note that you cannot create Employees in Admin Console what so ever. Once you make the BP as an employee in txn. BP this is visible in the Admin Console and you can modify but not create.

    We are implementing SRM SUS (5.0) (EBP SUS scenaio).  We are able to successfully replicate vendor to SUS. We can se ethe vendor org in SUS. My concern is -
    1. How can we create employee for vendor (business partner) in SUS.
    2.  When we create employee for vendor in EBP (BBPMAININT) and replicate in the vendor to SUS,  in the vendor org- contact person  in SUS there is a node getting created.  But unfortunately this shows userid ABCSDFEW  and shows name 'DO NOT USE'. And we are not able to login with this userid.

    1. I tried to change password in SU01 and when I try to login in SUS with that information it says 'your coampany is locked  please contact administrator to unlock the company'.  I tried it with 3-4 vendor and those are locked.  Now how I can unlock those company (Vendor).
    2.   I also try to use  SUS_SELFREG  url (my assumption is that for self reg we dont need any userid/passwd becuase the url will direct you to the user creation page .... please correct if I am  wrong)  but it gives the below error -

  • Error in creation of Employee for Business Partner

    I am using SRM 4.0 and ECC 5.0. I have created Vendor Root Org EBP and replicated vendors from R/3 which is appearing in Vendor Organization in EBP.
    Now when I am trying to create Employee as contact person in thru WEB transaction in EBP "Manage Business Partner".
    After filling all mandatory info when I am saving the same and error popup is coming as given below:
    "Central system not reached"
    Can some body help analyze the same?

    Following attributes are already maintained for Vendor Root in Org Plan :-
    BUK
    BWA
    CUR
    ITS_DEST
    SYS
    VENDOR_ACS
    VENDOR_SYS
    Beside this I have checked up availability of replicated vendors in VENMAP table with GUID.
    First error message is coming:
    "Central system not reached"
    When I am defining Logical system and external business partner ID that is R/3 Supplier code than another error is coming :
    "BP role BUOP001 already exists for partner XXX"
    This XXX is running sr. no. of BP number range but do not appear in BP data base . And in next attempt next Sr. no. is blocked by system.
    Problem is still persisting pls. suggest.

    When I go for Profile Match-up, I found that One employee is lack-off some skills. I have a training program to fill those skills. How can I book that employee for training program from Pofile match-up screen?
    Or is there any other way to book an employee for a training program from PD?

    Thanks for your response, I check the option Generate training Praposals before running the profile match-up. I have created one training Event type (D) and i assigned qualification through A-028 relation.
    Here one employee is lack of MS Office excellent skills for Assistant Manager position, I created Training Event (D) called MS Office training and assigned the qualification for this training program.
    when I run profile match-up I got an Icon Training praposal (Tree symbol).
    and also I have a column called Training , but it is blank.
    I want to book that employee for that training progam (MS offcie training program), from Profile match-up screen.
    I have selected the employee and I click on the Icon called Further Training. But the message is like Choose a valid line.
    How can I send employee for MS Office training from profile match-up screen?
    Please guide me...

    I am using Oracle applications 11i in my PC for trying purpose in Windows 2003 environment. I have HRMS in my APPS. While creating Employee in US HR manager >
    I am getting the following error message.
    App-Per-52803 Business Group Does Not Match Security Profile
    For this i got resolution from Metalink, as per metalink:
    HR:Business Group and
    HR:Security Profile
    Both are same profile options. I have checked in profiles both are set to Vision corporations. But i am getting same error still. Could any one please suggest me.

  • Creating subtype for Infotype.

    Hi ,
    I have created a customInfotype following the steps below:
    1) Go to Transaction PM01.
    2) Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create (Should be a 4 digit number, start with 9).
    3) Select the 'Employee Infotype' radio button.
    4) Select the 'PS Structure Infotype'.
    5) Click on Create... A separate table maintenance window appears...
    6) Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the Infotype
    7) Save and Activate the PS structure
    8) Go back to the initial screen of PM01.
    9) Click on 'All' push button. It takes a few moments.
    10) Click on 'Technical Characteristics'. Infotype list screen appears
    11) Click on 'Change'(pencil) button
    12) Select your Infotype and click on 'Detail' (magnifying glass) button
    13) Give 'T591A' as subtype table
    14) Give 'T591S' as subtype txt tab
    15) Give your subtype field as subtype field
    16) Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
    17) Click on 'Infotype Characteristics' ... Infotype list screen appears
    18) Click on 'Change' (pencil) button
    19) Click on 'New Entries'
    20) Enter your Infotype number and short text
    21) Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference to fill yours)
    22) Save your entries.
    23) Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
    24) If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your requirement...
    25) In the PM01 initial screen...Select 'Screen' radio button and give 2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
    26) In the next screen.. Select 'Layout Editor' and click 'Change'.
    27) Screen default layout appears...here you can design/modify the screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.
    28) Save and activate. (Don't forget to 'Activate at every level)
    In thread Infotype the following method is given to create subtype for Infotype.
    <b>Subtype Creation :</b>
    Transaction PM01 Goto Subtype Characteristics. Click on Append and then subtype. Enter the name and description of subtype on screen.
    Then goto technical Characteristics and maintain the details of subtype there. I.e name of subtype i.e. component name defined in PSnnnn. Subtype table is T591A.
    Subty.text tab is T591S and time const tab is T591A.
    But I am having no option to create subtype from PM01.
    Please guide on this.

    Hi,
       What you are trying to do is to modify a Standard ( delivered by SAP ) object. This would obviously not be allowed all that easily. You will have to contact SAP and obtain what is known as an access key. You would then be able to modify the object. This stipulation makes it explicit that SAP is not responsible for any problems that you may encounter by changing the standard functionality.
    There is, however, an exception to this. We have something called user-exits in sAP. These are the places in the code where SAP has given the customer an option to include some custom functionality within the standard functionality. That is because SAP thinks that these are the points where customer-specific functionality is most likely.
    Hope you can now see the point. If you want to modify PM01, you have to either search if an appropriate user-exit is available, or you have to contact SAP to obtain the access key.

    We are trying to add documents to Contacts in Oracle HRMS. (11.5.10.2)
    Navigation: Oracle HR Super User -> Fastpath -> Documents of Record
    Search for a Contact -> Manage Documents of Record -> Create Document of Record.
    In Document Information -> Type is mandatory field but the LOV is not returning any values.
    The LOV works fine for both system defined and custom document types when trying to create documents for Employees or External Contractors.
    But we would need to be able to add documents for Contacts also.
    Please let us know if this expected functionality or if there is any setup that is needed.
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    first check, if customizing for all fields is done.
    You will need a action type for hiring a person with infotypes 0000, 0002, 0001.
    Infotype 0001 is not so easy, because many checks are done in modul pool.
    The number range for PERNR can be set to internal or external (its your decision), transaction PA04.
    if you create a new PERNR you may wish to keep the old (legacy) one. you can use infotype 0032 or 0105, add it to the hiring action.
    If your legacy data comes with a flat file LSMW is a good tool to import master data.

    Hi Solai,
    You can do a work around for it. Just Leave the Employee ID field as it is. Create a new User Defined field (Alpha Numeric Type) And make it visible on the the employee master data form.
    Step2 : Depending upon your need  write the code that is if it should be auto generated write the code for else leave it blank for the user to enter the employee code.
    Step3: In before action = True. Make the newly created field as mandatory and check whether the value in the field is unique.
