Hi! I want to develop an extension for Firefox.
My problem is that none of the tutorials and sample which i find online work for Firefox 3.6.13 (on Mac).

Please send me some info on how to make a "helloworld" extension installable in Firefox 3.6.13.

Hello, each time I want to download the update for iTunes on my MacBook Pro, the process stops at some point because of an "unexpected error". What can I do?
1) Make sure your computer is backed up before doing any update. If you update iTunes and don't like the new version you cannot back out unless you have a 100% clone of your computer. Also updates have on rare occasion been associated with making computers crash.
2) Run Disk Utility to verify your drive. If it reports no issues, run the repair permissions features. If there are issues then you need to boot from the installer disc and repair the drive. Do not install updates on a computer with drive issues.
3) Download the new iTunes version from the Apple web site. This often gets around Software Update issues.
4) Install new software, then repair permissions again afterward.
5) Check that everything is as you like it. -
Trying to create a Photomerge in Bridge, when the files open in Photoshop ( small jegs ) , I get a error message of " Unable to process latte files " / " null is not an object "

I need help! when I am importing my NEF Raw files from my D3300 camera into lightroom 5 and try to use the "copy as DNG" button I always get an error message saying that "saying the file is not recognized by the raw format support". The whole purpose of that button is so that the file can be recognized... How can I make the "copy as DNG" button work as it is supposed too?? Thank you
Thank you for responding. So I essentially will never be able to use that button in lightroom 5? do I need to get LR 6? Will there ever be an update for LR 5 that will enable me to use it?
Does DNG Converter work within LR or do I have to upload pictures to my computer and then make a second copy in DNG format. and then go into LR and use them?

I have Windows XP and microsoft outlook with Firefox as my browser; when I try to open a link in an email I get the following message "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator"

NON OF MY EMPOYEES CAN SEE THE IMAGES. WHAT'S WRONG? CAN YOU HELP?However, the view large images is an issue for a form that is being distributed. Either a note needs to be added to the PDF to tell how to enable the view or the images need to be changed so that the enabling is not needed.

Hi, I am using Firefox 5. Suddenly I lost my bookmarks toolbar even though I have selected it to be visible in the view option. But I can still view the bookmarks toolbar in my all-in one side bar
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

It's not jailbroke or anything but it says the terms and conditions have changed. When I agree, it says your session has times out. Try again. But it doesn't give me an option to try again and has a done button underneath it. I press done. The textplus app says "Waiting..." and is gray. What can I do to download this app?
iTunes has to contact Apple to send your agreement to the new conditions, but your security software has to allow this contact. If blocked, you'll get a time out message. When I try entering a new event in iCal on my MacBook Air, I get an error message popping up on my screen that says:
The server responded with “502”
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
The server responded with “502” to operation CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation.
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
I am then given the option of staying Online or going Offline.
Can anyone help me?

The macbook reads a disc, and opens up DVD player but then says not permitted when I hit play, or any other button. Sometimes the initial music plays, but the screen remains black and then it all stops. These are shop bought DVD's that have previously worked on here, and work in DVD players, but have suddenly stopped. The computer is much older than the12 months warantee so I hope there is an easy fix? Thankyou!
Three things you can try:
1. Clean the superdrive with a proprietory CD/DVD lens cleaner that uses tiny brushes.
2. Perform an SMC reset:

When I try to open my Yahoo mail in safari, I get a message which states:" In order to use Yahoo mail, please turn Private Browsing off. Please go to Settings>Safari>Private Browsing, and turn off" The problem is, my ipad does not a Private Browsing switchat this location.
With iOS 7 on the iPad, you turn Private Browsing on and off by tapping the URL field. The screen that opens up has your bookmarks on it. In the bottom left corner is a hot button marked 'PRIVATE'. Tap on the word 'PRIVATE' to turn private browsing on or off. Yeah, there aren't any instructions anywhere that I can find to do this, and if you follow Yahoo's instructions, they don't work. This doesn't happen with the previous Apple OS, and you can restore your iPad to the older OS.

- A while back, i did something to where when i open a file in photoshop, it no longer is one window, now it's two separete ones. one for the program itself, and another for the actual file how do it get it back to where it's all one window without having to be in full screen mode? I've managed to go some time like this, but right now it's just really annoying me. HELP!!!
Just drag the small window to the top right below the toolbar, you'll see the area highlighted and when you drop it the file should dock.

After the Firefox update this week (Sept 7?) links from emails won't open. I get an error message. So I've temporarily set IE as my default browser, and the links work.
Hi everyone, I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I have been very very frustrated by this problem. [I could not create new windows, and anything that opens new windows, such as trying to see what Add-ons you have etc would not work]. I read about changing screen alignment to the top... I have one screen so the option does not exist. The above messages would not fix this problem. I searched hard and did find a solution in the end. I read stuff about removing Add-ons until the problem is fixed, but its simply not the case.
First of all open Firefox. next go to options: Help --- 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Tick the box for add-ons, restart firefox. Next go to Tools --- Add-ons. Next (In the Add-ons Manager' click on 'Plugins' on the left hand side pane. Look for the small blue writing that says 'Check to see if your plugins are up to date'.
Now notice it should say 'Missing Flash'. "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version". I followed this, reinstalled Flash and it now works as it always did, no problems. For people where the above fix didn't work, try this one out. Hope it helps people!

Which I get. But clicking on that link you provided does not give you the option of choosing between 32 and 64 bit installers.
Yeah, that was certainly a 32-bit installer file being referred to in the other message, too. (The 64-bit installer file is called iTunes64Setup.exe.)
Just in case it's an issue with your normal browser not working properly with the system-detection equipment on the page (there's a javascript control that checks for operating system specifics, and is supposed to deliver the correct Mac or Windows installers), let's try a different web browser for the download. If you use Firefox instead of IE (or vice versa), do you get offered an iTunes64Setup.exe instead of an iTunesSetup.exe?
