Creating fake depth in a photo

I have a scene I need for a project, the problem is for the setting in question I've been unable to find any suitible footage on any of the stock sites, I have however found some photos that are ideal only, their not video's
So I thought maybe I could fake it in after effects?
I saw an effect on some video I saw a while ago (can't remember where) but using flat 2d images of people they kinda made them 3d, not to where you could rotate the angel slightly and it gave it a video like illusion.
I'm not doing this with people though, more like a hall way. So if anyone can give me some direction on how to go about doing this that'd be very helpful. thx.

If your Mac is a new one, like mine, then it comes with a version of iLife that doesn't have iDVD and if so, there isn't an easy way to burn a DVD from iPhoto or iMovie that will play on a normal DVD player. There is quite a bit of correspondence about this, but I couldn't find a good answer, apart from this:

This way he can select an icon and it will auto-dial that number. I did some research and an app called SBphotoDial did exactly what I need but it no longer seems to be available in the App Store. Any thoughts?

iPhoto: How to move the Library to an EHD
Make sure that the EXT Drive is formatted as Mac OS Extended (journaled).
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Need help in creating fake headers in subreports

I read in a previous topic to get page headers on subreports to work in a container report, you have to create 'fake report headers' in the subreports. I need some guidance with how to do that. A reply to the previous topic had a URL link to get to some information about it, but that link no longer works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey please follow the steps:
To create a fake page header for subreports, use the following steps:
1. In the subreport, create a formula:
@FakePageHeader
//name of formula
WhileReadingRecords;
2. Go to the 'Insert' menu and click 'Group'. Select the @FakePageHeader formula.
3. Select the 'Repeat Group Header on Each New Page' option, and click 'OK'.
This inserts a new group at the lowest, or innermost, grouping level. You will need to move this group to the highest, or outermost, grouping level.
4. Go to 'Report' menu and click 'Group Expert'. Use the up arrow to move this newest group up to the top of the list.
5. Move all the headers that you would like repeated into this Header for the @FakePageHeader group.

You can't create new folders directly the Photos app at this time. It is supposed to be a new feature in iOS 5. You either need to create the folders in the main folder from which you sync your photos in iTunes and sync again, or you can download third party apps that allow you to sort photos on the iPad. You can look at Photo Sort for this function in the App Store.

You will need to use the computer that you sync with, running the most recent version of iTunes. Connect the iPad to the computer, click on the iPad name on the left, click on the Summary Pane of the iTunes window on the right, and then click on the Check for Update button.

You can use any computer to update, but you will lose everything that you have on your iPad, so that's why you really should use your own syncing computer.
I recommend this as well ....
What you should do anytime that you update the device is to transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
However, iTunes should ask if you want to backup before you update, but just in case create the backup yourself before you update. The backup contains your app data and settings - along with other items - so make sure you backup first.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.

No one can help you any more than has been done
Your camera is not a general purpuose photo display system - it is designed to take photos, let you look at those photos and allow you to download them to your computer or other places - if you wnat to use it view photos then you have to put the photos in exactly the correct place with exactly the correct names or it will not see them
And this has absolutely nothing to do with iPhoto in any way - iPhoto sotres and proecesses yoru photos and allows you to export them - once you export them it is totally out of the picture - you can easily get photo prints by using the iPhoto print service, using an internet print service, burning photos to a DVD and taking them to a print service or putting them on a SD card and taking them to a print service - to view them on your camera you have to exactly reporduce what the camera is looking for - not at all sure what the pirnt even is

Basically you're approaching this the wrong way around. What you need is the extreme sections to be quieter, not louder. The problem with moving the lower end of the audio is that you'll move the noise floor too, and get what's generally referred to as a 'pumping' effect. So what you do is to use a compressor to tame the peaks, and leave the lower level sound alone. When you've done that, you amplify (or normalize to a level you can determine) the whole signal. So the noise floor will be higher, but constant and not pumping. 'Match Volume' is a completely different tool for setting the overall levels of different tracks so that they sound approximately the same - it doesn't even begin to do what you want.
If it's music you are treating, then I'd almost certainly use the multiband compressor, because you get less artefacts with this. You need to experiment with the threshold levels, and almost certainly not use a massive compression ratio - 3:1 or 4:1 should be sufficient (although it's hard to tell without actually hearing the audio). You can tell what it's doing at any given point because the downward meter indicates how hard it's working. In theory you can apply make-up gain with it as well, but personally I leave that until everything's treated and use the 'Normalize' tool to set an absolute max level.

Right-click on any IMAGE anywhere, then follow the Get Info instructions.
You can also do it on the Faces screen. At the bottom of that screen you should see a Suggested Faces bar. Double-click on one of the unnamed faces and add the person's name. If it's a new face, it will be added to face circles collection.

I am creating an Apple book of photos using iPhoto and a panoramic image.

I am creating an Apple book of photos using iPhoto. I have a panoramic image that I have split into two 9.5X2.583 in pieces in PhotoShop. I want to paste them into facing pages. When I try to move the images to the book I get images much larger which won't fit on the page. I am using Mac OS X 10.7.4 and iPhoto 11 (9.3.2).
What do I need to do to make this work?

Why not just use the full panoramic photo in one of the "spread" layouts which span two pages.

When you are in Album view in the Photos app - tap the edit button in the upper right corner - tap the X in the corner of the album to delete it.
