Creating forms having problem with speed

OK maybe this jsut isn't possible.
In am creating a form from a .doc file It is a physicians patient management form. First, this thing isn't small. it's 22 pages and ubelievably large amounts of entry fields.
I had to do a bunhc, but one data set bothered me so i left it for last.... now.. yuck.
This is simply a table. on the left is a column for dates. ech row is a new date. each column is a different item. In the boxes there is a plus or minus sign on the doc. So i figured the best replacement would be a radio group. 2 each for each entry.
Here's the problem. That's 14 columns and 20 rows. ech column has two radio buttons. so we're talking 560 buttons. I'm not even half way through and it's slowing down so bad I am constantly crashing and can't manage this. I have in the neighborhood of 250. now, the only logical way i could figure to do this quickly was to make a set. I can't use a default size because the form is oddly built. i have to use very smal radio buttons. Instead of plus minus I'm coloring them red/green. I created two buttons, so one group. but i can't figure out how to duplicate and increment that set. i tried holding the control button when copying then hitting the '+' key but it did not increment. it left two new radio buttons in the same group. couldn't figure out wht to do so i just built it all off that one set of buttons, and am trying to go back in and rename each set to make them unique. but it is SO slow and unmangeable I can't get through it. not even half way and it take around 45 seconds to 1 minute to complete the copying, another 30 to 45 seconds to bring up the property box (PER BUTTON) and then another 20 seconds to finish when i manually increment the groups.
there has to be a better way than this. can anyone give me a recommendation? i'm attaching a pic of some of the fields so you can see what i was trying to do but this just isn't going to work. i even extracted just this page from the worksheet, and it doesn't make a diff. there are so many buttons it's killing it. But this can;'t be that unusual, i could do this in 10 minutes in html. there has to be a good way to do it with a pdf?

Having problem with speed of podcast ios5

I have just noticed this morning when I started to listening to a podcast on my ipad 1 64gb 3g with IOS5 that now it only play in 1/2 speed and the control to affect the speed (like in the past 1/2 - 1X - 2X ) is no longer visible.
This is a serious problem, i usually listen to my podcast a 2X so listening at half the speed is painful and useless.
Any work around to at least put them in normal speed?

Was i've remember is that the feature is also ( or was) offered in audiobooks, the problem is that i don't have an audiobook in my ipad at this moment and it seem we can get all the music we purchased from the cloud right now, but not the audiobooks.
I'll have to wait to be back home to test this. If i can affect the speed of an audio book maybe the speed will "stick" and will stay identical to it when i play back a podcast.
Let's just hope.

It sounds like you do not have an internet connection (wifi arcs in the upper left does not mean you have a connection) since Safari does not work also.. Try the following:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset networks settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iPhone and iPod touch: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

Really having problems with organising documents in pages. For example, deleting pages deletes the whole section and I cannot insert a section break as its greyed out & sending an object to background deletes several pages - what the **** is going on???

You can not insert a section break into a textbox.
You appear to have a lot of objects with wrap set, that once you take them out of the flow of text (by sending them to the background) causes the text to reflow and contract into fewer pages. Pages is almost unique in the way it forms up pages in Word Processing mode only so long as there is text on them.
I suspect you probably have hammered away at returns, spaces and tabs as well to position things, which only works to add to the mess.

PS There is quite a lot of programming in OSX that is far from "intuitive". Pages is easy at one level, when using the templates, otherwise it can be quite frustrating.

The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius.

Are you having problems with Windows XP Pro and Airport Utility Updates?

I was having problems with my wireless laptop setting up my Bonjour Printer. I checked to make sure I had downloaded the latest updates to Airport Utility and Bonjour. Check. After doing this I noticed I couldn't see my Airport Extreme through the Airport Utility. After much frustration and bringing my entire network crashing down around me, I got help from a knowledgeable guy from Cox Cable in San Diego. He helped me get my trusty iMac Power PC online. It saw my Airport Extreme but no answers were forthcoming in any forums about my XP issues. Here is what finally solved my problem. I uninstalled all Airport Utility and Bonjour Programs. I then went back to Airport Utility 5.3.1 for Windows. It installs Bonjour Printer services with this download. Everything is working perfectly again. I have my Canon Pixma MP500 connected to the USB port on my AEBS and Bonjour walked right through the setup process. I suggest that if this works for you, turn off all Airport Utility and AEBS firmware updates until you see that whatever issue Apple created with these updates gets fixed.

I'm pretty sure the extra 512 memory stick was the problem, that would explain why it was being inconsistent with its type of failures before. I'm going to reinstall it later and run memtest86 and try and see if i can get it to work at all somehow without causing problems, cuz 1.5 was already low enough...

Still having problems with VPN access

I am having problems with my VPN clients getting access to the networks over a MPLS infrastruture. I can reach these resources form my Core network (172.17.1.0/24) and my Wifi (172.17.100.0/24) but not from my VPN network (172.17.200.0/24). From the VPN I can reach the Wifi network (which is behind a router) and the rule that allows that also allows access to the other networks but for some reason it is not working.
When I ping inside the core network from VPN I can connect and get responses. When I ping to the Wifi network, I can get responses and connect to resources there. A tracert to the wifi network shows it hitting the core switch (a 3750 stack) @ 172.17.1.1, then the Wifi router (172.17.1.3) and then the host. A tracert to a resource on the MPLS network from the VPN shows a single entry (the destination host) and then 29 time outs but will not ping that resource nor connect.
I've posted all the info I can think of below. Any help appreciated.

Hi Roger,
I bet you already checked it, but does the MPLS end router has route to VPN client subnet 172.17.200.x (or default) pointing to core rtr)?
Also, if the MPLS link has any /30 subnet assigned, you may need to include that as well in Object group LAN-NETWORKS.

Having Problem With Inspire 5.1 5300 rear speaker...

After using my inspire 5.1 5300 for few year... right now im having problem with my rear speaker... just one channel was unable to start... Anyone know about repairing for speaker ? Just to clarify, by "FCP 5 friendly source material," he means video files that are a format (codec) that FCP 5 supports. What FCP 5 supports can be found in the EASY SETUP list. If the format you are working with isn't there, say if your footage is H.264 or MP4 or some other web compressed format, FCP won't work properly. It needs to be in an editing codec if you want FCP 5 to work with it.
Also, you need to make sure that your sequence settings match the settings of the footage you are trying to edit. If you add a clip to the sequence, and immediately have to render, that's a big clue to say that something isn't right. You should edit without rendering at all.
The most important thing you need to do is properly set up your project from the start, and the best way to do this is to choose a setting from the Easy Setups, located under the Final Cut Pro menu. Once you do this, you’ll need to create a new sequence. This is because the sequence that is already in your new project is setup for the typical default setting of DV/NTSC, or for the settings of your last project, which might not match what you are currently working with. So delete SEQUENCE 1 and create a new sequence:
This new sequence will contain the settings you chose in the Easy Setup menu, and should match the format you captured

Indesign CS6 on MACs with OS 10.8 are having problems with links

Indesign CS6 on MACs with 10.8 are having problems with links. All links to other files have to be updated when opening a file although definitely nothing has changed to the linked files.
We can rule out our company's networking and the system hosting the files (HELIOS software on RedHat Linux VM). This happens with newly created Indesign files and with old ones. E.g. we create a file on Tuesday, save it and open it again on the exact same MAC on Wednesday and all links to other fiels (.indd, .png, .bmp, etc. nothing uncommon) have to be updated as they all show the yellow triangle + black exclamation mark symbol next to them. Has anybody else experienced this, What can we do? We have tried absolutley everything and updated all software from MAC OS to CS6 itself but nothing seems to help on the long run.
Any further information required?

We actually noticed that there also seems to be something wrong with the timestamps:
If we open the infos via the MAC finder to a file (.psd e.g.) which is linked in one of our indesign files, it states a certain date of creation.
If we then switch to the Indesign file we just opened in which we had to update all links and open the infos to exactly the same file we looked at in the finder, a different date of creation is stated. So there also seems to be a mistake here (hope it's clear what I mean).
We are ruling out our network as the error cannot be "re-enacted". We have created numerous test files in Indesign (simple white page containing one link to a .psd file which is also used in one of the supposedly defective files) and have opened them on various MACs with various OS versions over the past days/weeks but unfortunately the files open without any notifications or errors.
Just as a background: a few months ago, the problem seemed to occur between MACs with differing OS, 10.6 - 10.8 at first. A file which was created on a 10.6 MAC could not be opened without updating all links on a 10.8 MAC. That is why we updated everything to 10.8. The error did not occur for about 2-3 weeks but then reoccured again.?
Have you heard anything similar?
