Creating IDOC from ABAP Program

Hi folks,
Could any one tell me the procedure how to process IDOC form ABAP program. for example i want to send MATMAS idoc to other system. now we are able to send through Tcode BD10 to XI. we jsut want to send through ABAP program. is it possible to do so..if so could u pls let me know the procedure..thanks in advance.

Just check abap program RBDSEMAT.
In short:
- select the materials you want to send.
- call following function module:

Create idocs from custom program

hi
i have a custom program and will have custome segements.
so i can fill both control and data records.from here i need to generate idoc..any FM's to do this??

Hi Siva ,
There is no FM to fill segments data , you need to write your own logic fill IDOC data ,
then use 'MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE' to send IDOC.

GEnerating IDOC from ABAP Program

Hello all,
we have a business scenario where we are usng XI.
We are generating SO IDocs for the scenario. here are my Questions:
1. the SO may be a create/modify/reject
2. they have to pass several checlks like ATP, Flag check etc..(Validation) which we are handling it by a user exit, once the checks are passed we have to generate idocs..i am aware that we do output determination to generte the IDOC but we are opting that.we are trung to generate the idoc thru a z-program. can anybody guide me whether we can generate an idoc thru a z-program, if so can someone provide with a sample code/steps to be followed.
Also can a BAPI generate an IDOC?

not only in your below scenario,for anycase we need a program to generate IDOC for eg MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE..
the best advice is to copy an existing inbound/outbound programs and modify it to your need.this what SAP is also suggesting...

Just call this Progream RSEOUT00 from your Zprogram and pass the basic parameters like IDOC number, Basic type,Partner number etc.
You can check the parameters by executing the Program RSEOUT00.
This Program will change the status of your IDOC 30 to 03.

XML files from ABAP programs

Hi everyone!
Is there a way in ABAP to output XML files? Pls. send code/ function module if any.
From ABAP programs, we are sure that we can output TEXT files, but how about XML files?
The significance of this question is related
Currently we are using XI to interface SAP and AMS, this question for ABAP to produce XML file arose, if for example, the XI server is down and we have to still send data from one system to another. IDocs can also produce XML files, pls confirm. Earlier however, we have preferred XI rather than IDocs to do this. Anyway, any idea regarding this scenario will be greatly appreciated.

created a zbusiness object (ZPRODH)with
one key field product hierarchy,
one attribute level number and
one method display.
I tested that zobject and using this object created workflow to display product hierarchy ,it is displaying it. now I have to call it from one abap program.
In the abap program I am calling the funcion module, I

Create IDOC from file

I have received an IDOC order file, and I know there is a standard program RSEINB00 to create IDOC in system.
I would like to delete/add segments, change field contents in segements in the IDOC according to some of the segments in IDOC. Where can I manuplate it?

I am not test an IDOC file. I regularly receive IDOC file and need to manuplate the content, e.g. delete some of the segments, determine and fill in field content in some segments.
I just wonder if I can change the IDOC content after it is created in system, just like what I can do in WE19, but using a program. Is there any standard program for this purpose?
Or is there any user exit I can use when creating IDOC from file?

Calling oracle procedure from ABAP program

There is a requirement to call the oracle stored procedure with some input parameter from ABAP program.
Suppose we have order number which is entered by the user in ABAP program.
This order number needs to be passed to oracle stored procedure as an input parameter in the same ABAP program.
We can call the oracle stored procedure without parameter using the following syntax

But do not know how to execute the oracle stored procedure with some input parameter?

Error while creating IDOC from payment run

Dear All,
I 've alredy done all EDI settings for creating IDOC from payment run. But system in not generating IDOC as end with a result as "House bank is not designated as a EDI Partner'.
Please suggest how to define house bank as a EDI partner.

From We20 u have to create the partner profile for the bank u r using in ur transaction. In we20 select the partner type B (Bank) and as Partner no give ur bank numbrer.
