Creating installer always ask to insert CD Disc

Hello,
I am trying to figure out a way if I can avert the situation of continously having to re-insert various CDs while I'm creating an installer. I've pre-installed all the software on the device driver disc and the original labview application disk (the CDs it keeps asking me to insert), but I cannot seem to get through a build without having to physically put the CDs into the machine.
Any ideas out there?

Hello Ted-
The LabVIEW Installer builder stores the location of teh MSI installer you used to install the package on your system by default. When you go to build adn installer, it tries to copy the MSI files from that same directory, in your case this is the CD. There are a few ways to get around this. The first is to copy all of the installers from the CD to your hard drive and install them on your system from your hard drive. The second is to change the Installer Source Location setting in the Additional Installers section of your build specification. You will see that it points to your CD drive, but you can change it to any location that contains the valid files.

Premiere Elements 13 Installer ask to insert a Premiere Elements 13 disc, disc is already in drive

I have purchased a Premiere Elements 13 download from Adobe and burned it to a DVD. I run the setup.exe from the DVD and the installer starts. I enter the serial number and check the user agreement and continue. The installer proceeds to start and when it gets about 2% through I get prompted to insert a Premiere Elements 13 disc. The disc is already in the DVD drive, that is what I am running. Why am I being prompted to insert a disc and how do I resolve this so the installation can continue?

When the installation stops to ask "insert a Premiere Elements 13 disc", at what phase of the installation are you?
According to my count the choices might be....
The install starts showing 4.3 GB size and goes through
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64)
Sonic
Elements 13 Organizer
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
Camera Raw 64 bit
Adobe Premiere Elements 13
Installation ends with a Sign In.
One guess might be that something did not get burned to the disc correctly.
What happens if you install Premiere Elements 13 from the installation files (setup.exe) purchased and downloaded from Adobe direct?

What I've done to get around the problem of quircky DVD readers is to create a disk image of each of the installation discs and store them on an external firewire drive. When I need to install/reinstall, I open the images and put them all on my desktop then launch the installer from disk 1. Since all the disks are available, the installation happens without any intervention from me and is done within 30-45 minutes. (your time may vary depending upon computer variables)

Dreamweaver CS3 installation asking for Photoshop CS4 disc

I am trying to install Dreamweaver CS3 from the original install disc and a progress bar gets about 1/2 way through the installation process and I'm asked to insert the Photoshop CS4 install disc.
The Dreamweaver installation is not an upgrade. It is an original install.
I am on a Mac, OS 10.6

Are you able to copy the contents of the disc to your hard drive successfully? You may also want to attempt to download and install the trial version to see if it is a problem with the disc.

My MacBook wont start: Asking me to insert booth disc

I was trying to set up my mac to back up to a new Seagate External Hard Disk and during the process, i was asked to restart the macbook. When i tried to restart, i then got a black screen: asking that i insert a booth disc? I am so lost and it wont start. I also had not even backed it up. I am scared of losing my data. Hi Guys Forgive my lack of details....this is actually my first time on this forum and i am not that much of a computer guru. My system is a Mac Book Pro, bought it in 2009 and was running on OS X.
The seagate external hard disc is a 1TB "Free Agent GoFlex". It comes with it's soft ware that installs when connected for the first time. So when i connected it, it installed and then gave me the option of restarting the Mac right away or later on. So i chose to restart right away......One thing i remember is that i did not disconnect it from the Mac while restarting. So this message then comes up on a black screen "No bootable device.....insert boot disc and press any key". I was at a loss as to what to do....so i came online and posted the earlier message.
I have disconnected the Hard disc, but still the same message comes up each time i attempt to start it.
I would really appreciate any info that could help me resolve what ever the problem is.

Eject is not working when installer asks to insert second disk

I have a quite strange problem, when i'm installing world of warcraft on my laptop, everything goes allright for a first (of 5) dvd, it's running install till 20% and then asks to insert a second disk. When i'm trying to eject the first one it says, that a disk is in use and refuses to eject it (nor the eject button, nor dragging cd to bin works). But this is not the end, when i even closed the installer, it still is saying, that disk is in use, and doesn't want to eject it until reboot.
Maybe someone had this problem and solved it? Please, help, i don't want to download 4 gigs of installation.

If you factory reset, it wont make the update go away, but you should back up and reset before you install the update.

You can contact Apple Support and request a new set of disks, have your serial number handy, and if possible, they will send them to you for a nominal fee. (usually about $20.00)

You can get get your serial number from the back of your machine, or if possible, click on the Apple logo in the menu bar, About this Mac>more info, it should be on the first window that comes up. Many Macs disks are build specific so this is important.
You can GENTLY try polishing out the scratch with a micro fiber cloth, or a very SOFT cloth, moving from the center out, very gently, then rinse and DRY THOROUGHLY,and give it another try, if no joy try the tech support.

First off, you can't have upgraded from 10.4.1, as that won't run on a MacBook. 10.4.4 is minimum. 10.4.10, and 10.4.11 are different from 10.4.1.
Secondly, it appears Reason 4.0.1 is needed for 10.6:

Check with the developers in question if they are aware of any bugs in the upgrade process.

Appleworks asking for a floppy disc

After many many years faithful service, appleworks (6) has just started asking me to insert a floppy every time I fire it up. I can cancel, but it'll ask again a few minutes later, and again and again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling fom the appleworks CD, I've tried attaching a floopy drive and inserting various discs - including my old MacWrite Pro installer (which I still use all the time because it's still the best ever created imo:-), but all to no avail. I can't find my original clarisworks floppies though.
Any ideas what I can do? It's driving me nuts!
(Driving OS9.2 on that particular machine - because of MWPro!

I think Sagesse is onto something. Since you are using OS 9, take a look in the Startup Items folder in the System folder. There may be an alias to a file you opened from a floppy disk. Trash any AW aliases in there. This should stop AW from asking for that disk.
Another place to look us in Recent Items (which aren't really so recent) to a file on that disk. Since I have Recent Items turned off in AW preferences, I don't have a Recent Items folder anymore, so I'm not sure where it is located. It probably is in the Starting Points folder in the AppleWorks folder. If not, try a search in Sherlock for Recent Items. When you find this folder, trash all the aliases in it.

Purchases are locked to the account that purchased them. Thus first try to recovery use of the original account.
