Creating message groups with Centro?

Can I create a message group with my Centro? If I have 6 people that I want to send a message to, instead of picking all 6 peopel every time, I just want to create a group which includes all 6 people, and select that and send the message. is that possible? I havent been able to figure it out.

Yes, you're right, it'll not harm the client.
#Mobility group is useful for smooth Roaming, Anchoring and AP fallback. WLC reboot is not required to add/configure Mobility.
#If you've similar wlan configured on all these 3 WLCs and clients were trying to do roaming, it probably doing failover roaming with dhcp delays. Since it is already harming those client, feel free to configure Mobility.
#If the APs on those 4402s shares the RF then be sure to configure similar RF groups to avoid each APs idetifying themselves as Rogues.

in our SCOM 2012 SP1 (CU3) environment with about 800 Windows Agents.
OperationsDB on a Windows Cluster (2 physical server with 2 processors (six cores). Datawarehouse on separate cluster.
When i create a group with dynamic members, it took about 10min. During this period all the consoles are busy and freezing.
Is that normal ?

Creating Target group with Bi Query

I am trying to create Target group with BI query, for that I created one query on real time info cube with 0BPARTNER, 0BP_GUID and selected all navigational attributes. In the query info object properties u2013 Advance setting I selecting u201C Values from Master Data Tableu201D & Access Type u201C Master Datau201D , In query Property u2013 selected u201C Allow External Access to Queryu201D
In CRM while creating Data source I can see the In objects selected in the query u2013 selected Business partner info object as 0BP_GUID ,In the attribute list I just selected one item Industry code against the above data source, while running the Segment Builder when I selected the industry code it gives me 0 business partner where as I am having 20 BP with that Industry code.
I appreciate your help ASAP.

I have the same issue with my BI Query. Hope you have resolved by now, if you have please do let me know.
What we have done is, created a BI Query and used this query in in CRM datasource, then created some filters where i can see the objects in the query while creating filters in Attributes List. But when we use these filters to create Target group, its not resulting any results in the query, i mean not brining any values on segmentation area. This issue is only in Production as we have already tested in Test and passed without any problems. But in Production we have this issue, i m not sure why this is happening, i spoke to BW team regarding this and they are not sure eitherl. If you know could you please let me know

Creating new group with multiple contacts

What is the simplest way to create a new group with say 8 or 10 names that have been cc'ed on an e-mail? Essentially, I would like to be able to add all of the names at once to my Address Book, then using this same list create a new group. I can't find a way of doing this other than one at a time, unless I'm missing something obvious. Thanks for any help.

The script to use from the collection of scripts is Add Addresses (Mail) which adds addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists.

There are 3 fields that I want the same group by action. Is this possible?)
If any one of these 3 fields change I want some header information and column fieldnames to display. The header information I only want displayed on the first page (on the change) and the column fieldnames to display on every page. I have played around with things like "InRepeatedGroupHeader" and "report group header on each page". I am not getting all the results that I am looking for though.
I want report to look like:
Page header stuff (to display on every page) This data consists of some fields that will have static data and will display on every page. And it consists of 3 non-static fields that I want to group on.
Group header stuff that I only want displayed on the first page on a change from one of the 3 fields mentioned above.
Column headings that I want displayed on every page.
Details data
Group footer stuff (details not important for this)
I get the expected output (column headings displayed on every page, and group header stuff display on the first page on each group change) with one group field. But I want the group change to happen for all 3 fields.
It seems simple but I can't find a way to create a "group" so if "field1 or field2 or field3" change, I get the same "group by" action. I just need to know how to get the expected action.
I expect that I might have some terms mixed up and/or some important information that would aide you in helping me. If that is the case please re-post and I will add any missing or mis-stated information.

Then group on the formula. If this is not what you want, could you post some sample data, with the desired results.

Cannot create a group with no members through DAS

I'm using OID 10.1.2.0.2.
It seems that the DAS Self Service Console cannot work with groups with no members:
- When creating a group, it always assigns orcladmin as a member.
- When deleting the last member from a group, an error is shown ("Require at least one user or group member").
- If you create an empty group via other means (e.g. the oidadmin tool), the group will not be visible in the "role assignment" section when creating a new user (even though we enabled that group for role assignment in the "user entry" configuration). After adding one member through the "edit group" page, the role shows up in the role assignment section.
I have a couple of questions regarding this:
1) Is this limitation (group must have at least one member) an ldap or OID limitation, or is it only a DAS or even "self service console" limitation?
2) Why is this limitation there?
3) Is there a way to work around this, i.e. make self service console be able to handle empty groups?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not agree that a group owner should be a member of that group. For example, I have a group "admins" and a group "analysts". The "admins" group is owner of the "analysts" group, since the users in the "admins" group must be able to create users and assign them to the "analysts" group. However, the "admins" group is not member of the "analysts" group, because I do not want the admins to act as analysts in my application. Ownership of a group (being able to manage it) and membership of a group are two different things. Besides, I also do not understand why the OIDDAS makes the orcladmin user a member of every group that you create there.
Of course, eventually I will have members in my group. But why is it a problem that there are initially no members of a group? I see no reason at all why this would be a problem.
The reason why I ask this is that creating an empty group (initially) is a requirement of my setup process. I am trying to release a clean setup script (with an ldif file) out of development, that our operational department can use to set things up. I want my ldif file to prepare all the necessary groups and owners, but not to create members in those groups (that's the task of the operational people).
However, as soon as I have these empty groups in place, the OIDDAS starts to act strangely (namely, the groups are not visible in the "role assignment" section when creating a user, until there is at least one member in the groups). That's when I found out that the OIDDAS actually does not like having empty groups (error when creating group without members, error when removing last member, ...).
If anyone knows, can you give me one good reason why the OIDDAS does not allow empty groups (or making groups empty)? As far as I can see, the OID/LDAP itself does not have a problem with this (you can create an empty group without any problem via the oidadmin application, or via import of an ldif file).

This function is planned for the next OID release. Actually you've to use ldapsearch -L or ldifwrite to dump the tree into a LDIF file and use any kind of text tool to manipulate the LDIF.
You may also want to look to JXplorer, LDAPbrowser and other tools if they can do the job.

How to create OIM group with partial edit privileges?

I need to create an service desk group that has the privilege to reset the password of a user but cannot edit any of the other user attributes. Also grey out the 'edit' button for them.
Also, members of this group should not be able to delete the account. I can set permissions and disallow delete but would prefer not to even display the 'delete' button to them.

How to create a "Group" to send texts to easily?

I'd like to create a "Group" with a name that would be easily available to send text messages to - without having to enter individual contacts each time I text. Seems simple enough, but there's no place in "contacts" to "Create a Group". Any suggestions will be appreciated!

You would have to use an app for that. Some will create groups and allow you to send sms messages to the entire group (such as Speed Names).

Essbase cannot union mutliple groups with Essbase filter

Hi All,
I got a problem to provisioning on Shared Service.
In some case, I need to grant multiple filters to a Essbase users, say user01.
However, each user can associated one Essbase filter only.
For better management, I create multiple groups with different filters and assign the user, user01, into the groups.
For first two groups are working normally. However, Essbase cannot "union" all filters from multiple groups after the users join the third groups.
However, I try to combine the three filter into a filter with three rows. It is working!!!
It is because there are large number of users in external LDAP. It is unmanageable when combining multiple filters into a filters. Is there any way to solve this problem? or is there any better approach to do the security ?

The end result of user is that

he cannot access C02 of any Project dimension
he cannot access CTTL of P03
However, I found that when I change to metaread. The result is going wrong.
he can access C01 of P01, P02 and P03 only.
It is because I need to block user to view members which he cannot access.
I need "metaread" function.
So somebody tell me how to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

Controllers do not have to be of the same model to be a member of a mobility group. Mobility groups can be comprised of any combination of controller platforms.
