Creating Multiple POs for Contract

Dear Team,
Our Company has Yearly budget Allocation.
For longterm Contracts (Say 3 Years),we are facing Porblem in creating Multiple POs from the Contract.
The PO with ref to Contract can be created only for this Year as only Sufficient Budget is allocated for the current year.
For next year another PO need to be raised for Subsequent year.
The users need to make sure they have to Plan the budget for the next yesr to Process the PO.
Is there any way to address this issue.

Thanks for your reply. I have implemented the BADI BBP_BS_GROUP_BE method GROUP_PO_BACKEND. I modified BE_DOC_TYPE with the custom document type and REFNUMBER as the group number .
But it is generating number range for the original document type only. when i debug the code i found that it is taking original document type (which is hardcoded contant value mentioned in the code when number range is initial).
Please suggest me after grouping the line items with document types and REFNUMBER how to assign number ranges for each group of line items.

But purchase order always taking original document type and its number range only.

Can we create two POs for the same 3rd party Sales Order?

Hi MM experts,
Issue: Can we create two POs for the same 3rd party Sales Order
In Third party purchase process, first sales order created with a spl. item category and it creates the PR automatically with the Sales order material and Qty and this PR converted PO.
They got a pur.req. for sale order on same item for same delevery date. They did not get any warning msg. saying that a PO was prviously placed against this sale order.
How it is possible that we were able to place another PO? concern is that second PO was palced against SO which was already used & completed. they were able to place 2 POs for the same customer same delevery date. How it is possible?
If anyone face the same issue, please let me know if you have any answer to this questions.

It is hard for me to give you a definitive answer since you have created a customized solution.

Normally, the system will not do this. A third party PR or PO will be 'account assigned' to the Sales order. SAP standard 3rd party will not create additional purchase reqs unless there has been manual intervention. Try searching for changes in the Sales order and changes in the original purchase order. They may give you a clue.
I believe the normal Item category for third party SO is TAS (I am working from memory here, I am not in front of a system). I don't know what ZTAG does. I confess I am not an SD expert. You might also want to post your question in an SD forum.
You mention two custom applications, ZMMPLAN and ZSTPMP. These somehow have functionality that is used to help you convert your PRs to POs. If I were in your position, I believe I would also look at these applications for clues to how they might be contributing to your problem. And please don't send me details about these apps. I will not comment on custom code in this forum.

That is a quirk of Pagesthat it applies only one record per page.

Is creating multiple FileInputStream for one file OK?

Are there any issue with creating multiple FileInputStream for a single file? I have code that reads from a same file in multiple threads. Presumably, it should be ok since the file is being opened as read-only with FileInputStream. I have not seen any problem with it, but I want to be sure that there are no issues with doing this.

i think that is no problem,becase when you complete creating a FileInputStream,
the FileInputStream is autocephaly and have't relation with File,but Class File is differ in this ,if you create much new File() from one file ,System will report a err.

Syncing ical creates multiple entries for same event

I'm sure this is common. I cal sync creates multiple enties for the same event. Any way to work around this?

I think I know what can help. I also support Mac users in a mixed environment, and find that being able to access a Windows machine to test settings for my iCal users is very very helpful. If you do not have one, I could also fix this one by adding the user's account to my one Mac that runs Entourage.
On a PC: set up one of the problem accounts in Outlook, then go to Tools->Options & click on the Delegates tab. Click on a Delegate name (if they all have the same permission level, you can select all), then click the Permissions button. If the delegate have "Editor" permissions, there will be a little checked box that sends the delegate copies of all those meetings. De-select it.
Lemme know if you want Entourage instructions or if that does it for you.
The real question, of course, is why are there so many Exchange functions that iCal can't touch. Grrrr....

WebTools Creating multiple users for the same User

I had to make a few changes to a BP in SAP which will synch back into WebTools but now I am getting multiple users for the same contact. For example my user is cspehar_1 now in Webtools there are cspehar_1, cspehar_2, cspehar_3 and so on up to _8.
This is occuring for several users in webtools.
What causes this and how do I fix it?

Hi Craig,
There are two ways to cause this that I am aware of:
1. Change the "Business Partner Synch Contacts Field" setting after the initial synch.
2. Change the Web UserID on the BP contact in B1 (OCPR.U_PRX_SID).
After that, update the user in WT and synch. (might also happen if you update the BP in B1)
Since the synch is using the OCPR.U_PRX_SID to identify the contact, it will not be able to find it in B1 if the U_PRX_SID has changed. When it does not find it, it assumes it needs to be created. This results in a duplicate.
The solution is to reset the U_PRX_SID back to what it was or set the synch contact field back to what it was.
Then delete the last created duplicate contact from B1.
There may be further data corruption issues here. If orders/quotes/opportunities or other dependant data has synchronized referencing the duplicate user, these data will need to be correct as well.
FYI, whatever caused this was probably at the root of your order problem as well.

How to create Multiple Address for a single customer

In tcode Xd01 we create on customer but there we can maintain only one address but sometimes a scenario can be that single customer can have different address .
How to do that.Any exit is available to create multiple address with creation of single customer.
This provision is given while creating a Business Partner.Tcode is BP .In this Address Overview tab is there and you maintain multiple address to single Busines partner.
Same thing can we do for the customer.
Any solutions or suggestions,please give me your support.

Unfortunately Customers have only one address. However you can use contact persons to store different addresses, or (in the Sales view) you can assign other partner functions with different addresses (e.g. one customer acting as the Sold-to partner may have different Ship-to partners).
If these options do not meet your requirements, you could extend the customer master data with your own functionality and enhance transaction XD01 with your own screens for holding alternate addresses.

Creating multiple instances for a single file in B2B

I have a requirement to read the camt.053 file from the remote partner using Oracle B2B and send the file to oracle AIA and insert the data in the ERP database tables. I am able to read the file successfully through B2B using listening channel and send the data to AIA and insert the data in ERP tables but, if there is any error occured while inserting the data in the ERP tables it is creating multiple instances(6 message count) for the same file in B2B reports. where as it is creating only one entry in reports in case of successful insertion. I have not given any retry count in listening channel nor in the database adapter in SOA/AIA composite. I am confused from where B2B is retrying the message ? Do i need to set any system properties? Could you please guide me to resolve this issue?

App message delivery is not retried in B2B, rather failed messages are delivered to the IP_IN_QUEUE. Please enable the logging for B2B engine in TRACE 32 mode and run a test to reproduce the behaviour. Post the log here or mail across to my id (in my profile).

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to allow multiple users to approve.

Multiple POs for Third Party Purchase Requisitions

Hi
I Created a Sale Order for Third Party Item Category (Two line items). It generated one Purchase Requisition and two line items. Now I want to convert these two line items in a PR into two Purchase Orders (ME59N). For One line item PO created successfully. For the Second PO I am getting the following error message.
User XXX (My ID) already processing Purchase Requisition XXXXX 00010.
What could be the root cause for this error?

I think you are missing Note 1558299 on your system. Also Note 903884 might solve the problem although the description does not match.
1558299 ME21 does not set a lock on purchase requisition

I need some help. Attached is my LabVIEW file.
I want to change the Formula VI for the 'Air Velocity vs Time' waveform to another formula (or multiple formula (can I use MathNode Script for this?)) to let it handle multiple values from the data and then display the result on the waveform graph. Or how can I do this?
Another one is how to change the scale for the 'Measurement Flow' from sensor to pressure? Using pressure sensor 0V-10V to -500Pa-500Pa.

You could simply use a case structure around the Formula Express VI. When you say MathNode Script I'm assuming you're referring to MathScript? Or are you referring to the Formula Node. With either one you'd need to convert from dynamic data to arrays. With MathScrip you need to be aware that starting with LabVIEW 2009 MathScript requires a separate license.

You can create a custom scale for your measurement. You can do this in the DAQ Assistant.

ME59N Multiple POs for Same Materials

Currently ME59N is combining multiple purchase requisitions that have the same material onto a single PO. Is there a way to configure ME59N to always generate separate PO's for the same material if they are coming from differemt reuqisitions?

We are having a TIME Dimesnion. We have a hierarchy as follows: Month --> QTR --> HY --> Year --> All Years. As per the customer requirement we need to manitain more than one hierachy as follows:
* Hierarchy 1 (based on Calendar Year)
* Hierarchy 2 (based on Fiscal Year)
Calendar Year:
Month (Jan, Feb, Mar) --> Q1, Month (Apr, May, Jun) --> Q2, Month (Jul, Aug, Sep) --> Q3, Month (Oct, Nov, Dec) --> Q4
Fiscal Year (as per Indian laws)
Month (Apr, May, Jun) --> Q1, Month (Jul, Aug, Sep) --> Q2, Month (Oct, Nov, Dec) --> Q3, Month (Jan, Feb, Mar) --> Q4
Data is loaded @ the Month Level & aggregated based on the Hierarchy. Hence the report can be viewed based on the Hierarchy.
